"Nogami" along Shinmido-suji in Nishi-Temma. I stopped by to buy bread for the weekend. There is a sign for new bread. Actually, when I came at 2:00 PM the day before, it was sold out, so I came back for revenge. When I came after 12:00, they had it! ★ Kuroyama (2 loaves) 972 yen. The bread really looks like it's been burnt on the mountain... When I held it, it felt firmer than the regular bread. They told me to try it as it is at first, so I did. The crust is slightly firm, and the inside is moist and chewy. Next, I cut the end thickly and lightly toasted it. The crust became crispy, and the mountain part was crunchy! Oh, this feels closer to a hard texture♪ The butter soaked inside brings out the sweetness of the bread even more. Personally, I find it more delicious and prefer it when it's toasted~(^-^) I like the regular bread for eating it as it is, but if it's toasted, I think I prefer Kuroyama(^-^)

Visited the renowned "Nogami" that sparked the boom of premium shokupan. It's been a while since my last purchase. The "Nama Shokupan" from "Nogami" is best enjoyed by tearing it with your hands and eating it as is on the day of purchase. Its softness and sweetness are exceptional, and when microwaved for about 10 seconds, the aroma of wheat becomes even more pronounced. The next day, I cut it thick and toasted it. Of course, I used Yotsuba's fermented butter. The sweetness of the bread and the butter matched perfectly, and I ended up eating about 3 slices in a row. For those trying premium shokupan for the first time, I believe starting with "Nogami" will surely be an impressive experience. Priced at 864 yen (tax included) for a 2-pound loaf, it is affordable, and I think the universally loved taste will leave you completely satisfied. #Umeda #Shokupan #Nogami

Nogami's "Raw" Bread - Michelin-style Anonymous Review Nogami's "raw" bread is best eaten as is, without any toppings. The bread is made using the highest quality flour, without any eggs, and with the natural sweetness of fresh cream. The careful preparation of allowing the dough to rest properly and cooling it after baking results in a simple and exquisite bread that is best enjoyed as is. Nogami's bread is loved by people of all ages, making it a popular choice for gifts or treats. The bread is made with three key principles: no eggs are used, Nogami's original blend of wheat is used, and a special focus is placed on creating a bread that is delicious to eat raw. The texture of Nogami's bread is unique - heavy, moist, and with a fragrant wheat aroma. The soft and slightly chewy texture, along with the subtle sweetness, makes it a favorite among customers. The crust is also highly praised for its softness and hint of caramel-like aroma. Although some may prefer to toast their bread, Nogami's "raw" bread stands out as being equally delicious, if not more so, when eaten as is. The reviewer admits to initially being a toast person but found Nogami's raw bread to be exceptional, even without toasting it. Overall, the reviewer highly recommends Nogami's "raw" bread, emphasizing its unique and delicious taste, especially when eaten in its raw form.

Long time no see! After finishing the project, it has become a tradition, whether you enjoy it or not, it's a fine line. I think it's important to keep going until someone says they're tired of it. Today, I was able to make a purchase smoothly, maybe because of the timing. It's better received than mediocre sweets. So, stay tuned!

Long time no see! I just finished a lunch meeting in a new area, and in this situation, I plan to leave as soon as my business is done. However, my family always expects a souvenir (bread), so I went to buy the usual bread. Wow! This is the first time I've seen this scene. There is a line in front of the bakery. I don't like waiting, but I patiently waited. However, the ginkgo trees on the street had ripe ginkgo nuts falling and it smelled bad. After waiting for a while, I was able to purchase the bread safely. Now I look forward to seeing my family's happy faces. My nose feels like it's going to bend - haha.

When it comes to delicious shokupan in Japan, Nogami is the place to go. It's a bit of a hassle when it doesn't come up easily in kanji conversion, but each slice is quite thick and satisfying to eat. It's fluffy and slightly sweet, similar to the shokupan sold in supermarkets. I didn't quite understand why it's so popular though! (^^;;

I remember receiving a luxurious bread a long time ago. It was located along Shinmidosuji Street, next to the American Consulate, on the north side. When I was heading to lunch, it appeared on my navigation for the first time, so I decided to buy it. I imagined the shop to have a chic atmosphere, but it was actually bright and refreshing with white and blue colors. The bread was packed in a bag and there were three staff members - one taking orders, one at the register, and one handing over the products. Usually, such shops sell bread in 2-pound loaves, but they had a convenient 1-pound option for small families like mine! I immediately ordered a 1-pound loaf. After paying, I was escorted out. It seems that our taste buds deteriorate every day, so let's enjoy it quickly. The crust can be enjoyed like croutons or hamburger buns, and the bread itself is moist and substantial. I might prefer regular sliced bread with crust over luxurious moist bread.

Long time no see! Even though I've come up to the Kansai region, I'm still just a humble visitor. My usual souvenir is this delicious bread. I bought four loaves this time, getting a bit carried away. I hope they will be happy to receive them again, until they say they're tired of it.

Long time no see! This business trip turned out to be a hectic day. I've been feeling a slight pressure, not enough to drive me crazy, but enough to make me scratch my head and have a late lunch. Now, time to look for souvenirs... Where could they be? Not too far, next to the American consulate! Shoutout to the police officers working hard. Anyway, I went to buy some bread and the service was surprisingly quick and easy. Osaka was still hot today, but the ginkgo trees were shedding their leaves, giving off a slight smell. I'm starting to feel autumn. Thinking about everyone's faces while being careful not to step on anything. Getting excited for tomorrow's breakfast. Happy comments come to mind. But man, walking around the city can really tire you out. Well, time to head back!

Located just east of the New Midosuji Line Umeda exit, near the American Embassy, is this famous shop known for its high-end shokupan (Japanese bread). I recently tried high-end shokupan in Ginza, so today is a comparison. The shop is famous for its slogan "shokupan you can eat all the way to the crust," and the crust of this shokupan is seamlessly integrated with the bread, eliminating any resistance typically associated with crusts. It was delicious!

I found a store where you can buy bread by the half loaf without waiting in line! It's located about a 10-minute walk from Umeda station. They have also expanded to Tokyo, but it seems like there are lines there. I didn't have the chance to visit before. I passed by another store closer to the station where they only sold 2-pound loaves, which was too heavy to carry back to Osaka, so I gave up. But when I passed by this store, I saw that they were selling half loaves without any lines! I decided to buy one for ¥432. I took it back to Tokyo and ate it two days later. The bread was incredibly moist all the way to the crust! It was so soft! Personally, I prefer the crust to be a bit crispier, but I still think it was delicious. For 400 yen, without having to wait in line, and being nearby, I might buy it occasionally. I'm glad I could finally buy it after being curious for so long! Thank you for the meal.

I finally made it to this bakery near my workplace. They only sell bread, with no seating area. The service was quick, probably due to their popularity. I bought a loaf for 432 yen without hesitation. The note in the paper bag said that the bread tastes better if left for a day to settle. The traditional chewy texture is satisfying and delicious. They recommend eating it as is without toasting. I waited a day before trying it. Oh, but if I keep eating like this, my diet won't work. I'll enjoy this delicious bread, reduce my carb intake, do a little reset, and then indulge again.

I stopped by on my way back from lunch in Umeda. Before the store opened, there were many cars parked with hazard lights on in front of the road, and there was a line of about 30 people in front of the store... After finishing lunch, it became easy to buy if you waited a bit. Since my son would probably take all of them if I bought regular size, I bought two half-sized loaves of bread. I also asked for an extra paper bag to carry them (even though I didn't ask, they were considerate). Many people seem to buy in bulk and distribute them to others around them. As for the taste, it was indeed "high-class." I ate it fresh and it had a moist texture and the aroma of wheat. I don't eat much bread, but even I could tell that this was a delicious bread. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about the "high-class 'fresh' bread specialty shop" on Osaka's Shin-mido-suji heading south from Umeda. It was around 2:30 PM when I arrived. Upon entering the shop, I saw many products already neatly packed in bags. The atmosphere was elegant, and the paper bags exuded a sense of luxury. The price was 432 yen for one loaf, which was more affordable than I had expected. According to the staff, the bread can last 3-4 days at room temperature. The instruction sheet in the paper bag suggested that the bread would taste even better if left for a day, so I decided to wait until the next day to enjoy it. The next day, I unwrapped the bread from its plastic packaging. The wrapping was slightly moist, as if the bread was emitting moisture. When I touched it, the "crust" was incredibly soft. It must be due to its freshness. I sliced it into about 5 pieces with a knife and decided to eat it "fresh". I took a bite and was amazed by the soft, moist texture. The wheat flavor spread smoothly in my mouth, and the bread's juiciness made it feel like my mouth was not drying out but rather getting moist. It was indeed a great recommendation to eat it fresh. I had 3 slices like that. The following day, I toasted the remaining 2 slices. It was also delicious. The aroma enhanced the flavor, making it even more enjoyable. It seems that this shop has won various awards like the "Search Award" and "Bread of the Year". Impressive! The location makes it convenient to purchase casually while doing other errands.

I tried various kinds of high-quality bread during the gourmet bread boom, but I still prefer Nogami. I went there after a long time. It was around lunchtime and not crowded! Maybe it's because of the light rain, or maybe everyone is cheating on other places, haha. I bought two loaves. My son likes to have two slices of toast in a row, so I cut one loaf all at once. I made 10 slices ヽ(*´∀`) The one in the photo is just one slice toasted, so there are only 9 slices shown. Seriously, you can eat as many slices of Nogami's bread as you want. It doesn't have any artificial sweetness, so it's best with toast and butter. Today's snack, tonight's meal, tomorrow's breakfast, and maybe lunch too, two loaves will disappear in no time m(._.)m Everyone in my family loves it. We have to be careful not to eat too much unintentionally haha. Thank you for the delicious meal! (●´ω`●)

I finally tried the popular Nogami bread for the first time. It was soft and sweet, more like a snack than regular bread. I wonder if it would taste different if toasted. Overall, I enjoyed it as a tasty treat.

I'm used to a supermarket's bread being 800 yen for 2 loaves, so this one seemed pricey. However, compared to hotel bread, it's not that expensive. I thought the taste was great. It's delicious on its own, but when toasted, the aroma is really impressive. Whether as a sandwich or cheese bread, the bread itself is tasty, making the final product delicious. I can't buy it every time, but I'd like to get it occasionally.

When I arrived at the store just before opening, there was already a line... I was worried about how popular the shop was, but I was able to buy without any problems. I realized that this shop has played a significant role in changing the concept of bread as the term "luxury bread" continues to spread. The slightly sweet aroma of wheat emanating from the dough makes it delicious to enjoy for breakfast, snacks, or any other time, putting you in a happy mood. It's a joy for bread lovers to be able to enjoy luxury bread as a part of their daily routine.

I finally got my hands on the delicious high-end bread that I heard about from my business contact. It cost 840 yen for one loaf (2 pounds), and I was skeptical about whether it was really worth the price. When I got home, I immediately tried a slice of the bread as is. It was so fluffy that it was hard to cut with a knife. After taking a bite, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I usually don't eat bread plain like this, and I never expected to taste such sweetness in bread. While it is on the pricier side for bread, it's not so expensive that I wouldn't buy it again. I think it would make a great gift to bring to a friend's house when visiting.
