I stopped by here because I had some business at the city hall. Currently, they are not serving pancakes due to the impact of bird flu, so I tried the soft serve ice cream with black honey kinako flavor (550 yen). There was a crispy rice cracker underneath the soft serve, which was fun to eat. The taste was good, and the atmosphere inside the shop was quiet. The decorations were cute.

I passed by the Kounagano City Hall and decided to stop by the Shittouya shop on my way back. I saw a sign for ice cream, so I thought I would check it out later. The shop has parking space for two cars. It is run by two women. Since I was already full, I ordered a small portion of the following menu items: - Roll strawberry for 500 yen - Strawberry milk for 450 yen Soon, our orders were ready. The Roll strawberry was soft serve ice cream topped with frozen diced strawberries. The cream was excellent. Although the amount of strawberries was small, their acidity complemented the sweetness of the ice cream. My companion also kept saying how delicious the Strawberry milk was, so I'm sure it was really good. This shop offers affordable sweets, which is great if you happen to be in the area.
