The chef's special lunch was 5,280 yen. I was satisfied and felt luxurious. The rice at the end was simple but delicious. I also had a bottle of red wine and ordered scallops separately, so I added white wine and enjoyed it. The restaurant had an impressive selection of rare wines. This steakhouse Ueda, established in 1974, will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. I ended up having a high-end lunch due to ordering too much wine. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I've been interested in this place for a while, it's like a hidden gem for adults. Even though I had a hangover, I felt like steak, which is my favorite, would be okay. I started with a salad and they made sure to avoid fish since I don't like it. The roast beef, shrimp, and scallops were delicious, I even sneakily ate some of my companion's portion. The fillet steak was the best, so delicious! The garlic rice as the finishing touch on the hot plate was a must. Watching the final dish being prepared in front of me was also enjoyable. I had wine as well and finished off with a fantastic dessert, the strawberry flavor was amazing! Even though I don't like sweet things, I was completely satisfied. I definitely want to come back here again.

This was my first visit. I called to let them know I would be late due to traffic, but they responded kindly. I believe it was the owner who always showed consideration and spoke to customers in a friendly manner, leaving a great impression. We had a course meal for two, starting with roast beef, followed by seafood, abalone, and both sirloin and filet mignon. It was all very delicious. I will definitely go back. I want to become a regular customer.

I had a thick steak at this restaurant. They cook it right in front of you on the counter. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed talking to them. It's a great atmosphere! Next time, I want to try the chef's special lunch. The selected meat was tender and delicious!

Luxurious lunch course~♪ I made a reservation and visited for lunch. The luxurious lunch course includes specially selected fillet steak, roast beef, salad, rice, miso soup, pickles, and coffee or tea after the meal for 4,600 yen (excluding tax). There is also a lunch set without roast beef for 3,200 yen (excluding tax). First, the roast beef. It was a large slice with a thin cut, maybe around 20-30g? It had a good amount of fat. The seasonal salad was very small. The main dish, the fillet steak, was around 120g and I asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The meat was tender, but surprisingly fatty for a fillet. It was easier to eat with ponzu sauce rather than salt. After the meal, I chose coffee and finished my meal.

The atmosphere is nice, but the steakhouse doesn't have anything particularly noteworthy. The prices are high. It's good that they accept electronic money. I was able to eat at half price with electronic money cashback, so that was nice.

I arrived at Steakhouse Ueda in Shinmachi, towards Nishi-Nagahori Station. The location was a bit remote, so there were no customers except for me, making it a bit lonely dining alone. The menu displayed outside showed that the prices were quite high, with lunch costing over 2000 yen. I ordered the W Steak Lunch, which ended up costing over 2800 yen. The meal started with corn potage soup, followed by a simple salad with natural tasting dressing. The main dish, the "W" steak, was served next. It was thin and resembled roast beef in size. Although the taste was good, the small portion left me feeling a bit disappointed. The restaurant had a spacious interior with a long counter and multiple teppanyaki grills, but it felt underutilized. I hope they can attract more customers and improve their offerings in the future. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would consider visiting again in the future.

I visited the restaurant based on the recommendation of a contact person from a business partner. The restaurant is located north of the intersection of Nagahori-dori and Amidaike-suji, and after turning east on the second street, you will find it. In this area, there are not many eateries, making it a quiet and hidden gem. The exterior exudes a sense of history, and the interior has a retro and cozy atmosphere. There is a straight counter that can seat about 10 people, as well as two tables for four. I heard that the lunch is a good deal compared to dinner, so I visited during lunchtime. However, it was already past 1:30 pm, and there were no other customers. The lunch menu offers about six options, with the cheapest being the "Shrimp Fry Set" at 1575 yen, making it a slightly upscale place. I ordered the "Special Set" (1890 yen) which includes teriyaki sirloin and shrimp fry, served with salad, miso soup, and unlimited rice refills. As I enjoyed the salad, I observed the kitchen where the meat was cut after taking orders. Although there is a grill on the counter, the lunch dishes were cooked in a frying pan in the back kitchen. The large and crispy shrimp fry was served on a plate alongside the tender sirloin. The meat was so tender that it didn't require a knife, easily chewed with just chopsticks. The quality of the meat used for lunch was exceptional and delicious. The sirloin was lean and flavorful, complemented by a delicious sauce. The shrimp fry was perfectly cooked, with a crispy texture, and even the head was tasty and crunchy. I was able to enjoy the meal with plenty of rice refills. The service was polite and friendly, leaving a great impression. While it may be difficult to visit frequently, it's a place I would like to indulge in a little luxury once a month.

I ordered the course menu which included salad, tempura, roast beef, choice of fillet or sirloin steak, garlic rice, and sherbet. Everything was delicious, but the standout was definitely the meat. The roast beef was thinly sliced and served with a tangy ponzu sauce, complementing the flavorful meat. The main meat dishes, sirloin and fillet, were beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection in front of us. The sirloin was rich and slightly sweet, while the fillet was tender and flavorful. The owner engaged with us at just the right moments, creating a pleasant dining experience. The only downside was the slightly hard-to-find location, but it's worth the effort to visit this restaurant.

I was taken out for lunch by my boss because he couldn't stand seeing me eat beef bowl dishes all the time. I decided to challenge myself and ordered a steak lunch. The steak had a satisfying heaviness to it and the meat juices were amazing. It's true that specialty restaurants like this are different. I savored every bite and enjoyed it thoroughly. Even though it was steak, it was only 1500 yen, so it's a good option when you want to treat yourself a little. It's worth the price. I've realized that the restaurants I don't usually choose are the ones that help me grow in my gourmet journey. Let's all treat ourselves to something luxurious once in a while!

I had a steak bento box. The meat was very tender and delicious. The rice was a bit soft and complemented the meat well. The croquette on the side was average. The pasta underneath the steak was a bit bland, but overall it was the best bento box I've had recently.

During lunchtime, I decided to try out this restaurant on a whim because it had a really nice atmosphere. The entrance had a sign that said "1500 Steak Lunch," so I went in with the intention of ordering that. However, I soon realized that there were more expensive lunch options available, with the highest one costing around 4000 yen. It wasn't a special occasion or anything, just a casual lunch, so I ended up ordering the 1500 yen lunch. While it was a reasonable price, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. The ambiance was really nice though, so I hope to come back and try one of the more expensive options next time. Thank you for the experience.
