The restaurant has been renovated. I love the Kamameshi at Torikizoku ❤️ I always order the same dishes like Kizoku Yaki with Nanban sauce and Heart Camembert, but I never get tired of them... I received a discount coupon, so I decided to visit Toriki for the first time after being encouraged by 3-4 people on TikTok to visit the Sakuragawa branch. From the moment I entered the entrance and was greeted by the staff, to the servers who brought the food, everyone was perfect to the point that it was intimidating. They were all professionals who were conscious of every detail from their fingertips to their eye contact and tone of voice. After work, I went straight to Toriki with my friend's family for dinner. My friend was abstaining from alcohol, so I ordered a large glass of beer (Kinmugi) for myself to keep costs down (lol). All four kids unexpectedly ordered ramen for dinner. The staff, including the manager, were very kind and the service was impressive as always. They were very polite to the kids, which I appreciate. And then, the Calpis incident happened again (lol). This time, I ordered the new menu items, the marinated grilled chicken thigh and the YUKARI grilled chicken. Personally, I really like the YUKARI grilled chicken. Who would have thought that YUKARI would go well with grilled chicken skewers, it's quite a unique combination. I feel like trying to make grilled chicken with YUKARI at home now (lol). Toriki is really affordable (and the pricing is clear, which is great!), the service is good, new menu items keep coming, and it's always packed whenever I go, which makes sense! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆Third Stop☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ A sudden meeting with a beautiful woman was arranged, and I rushed from Kitahama to Sakuragawa pushing the Kuroo bus. It was quite a distance to run, but I finally arrived and met up with the beautiful woman. After running, I felt like eating pork balls. By chance, there was an okonomiyaki restaurant right in front of us. This is perfect!! Clang clang clang - please give me pork balls!! What? It's closed? Oh no! So we decided to push the Kuroo bus around Sakuragawa to find another place. Eventually, we found an okonomiyaki restaurant called Hanagokoro. It seemed to be a sister store of Bistro Hanakizakushoten, where we had been before. Since I couldn't eat pork balls earlier, my desire to eat them grew stronger. Clang clang clang - please give me 100% pork balls! What? It's closed? Oh no, not again! This happened two more times, wandering the winter night in search of food. We ended up settling for Toriki nearby, which I usually avoid chain restaurants but I like Toriki. However, this time I really wanted to eat pork balls... Anyway, we sat down and ordered drinks. I was thinking of having a Red Eye, but I asked the beautiful woman how she would feel if I drank a Red Eye. She thought it was a joke and laughed a lot. So, I decided to go with a draft beer instead. It was delicious! Maybe because I had eaten something spicy before, the bitterness and carbonation of the beer made it taste even better than usual. Also, Toriki serves Kirin Ichiban Shibori draft beer, and the server is clean, so it's always delicious. Now, let's order some food - Chicken Karaage, crispy and juicy, and Korean-style Pancake, chewy and satisfying. Let's also order for the beautiful woman - Kokoro (Heart) and Momo Kizoku (Chicken Thigh). Even though she didn't need it, she still ate some. I thought it was unnecessary, but I still ate it. Just a short walk from Sakuragawa Station, this izakaya stays open late into the night. I've been a few times, usually late, and it's always packed with young people (students?). It's crowded, but that's part of the fun of izakayas, I guess. The prices at Torikizoku are affordable and the food is tasty. They offer unlimited refills on cabbage, so you can get your veggies in. I always end up getting a lot of refills. It's a decent chain restaurant, so it's a safe bet when you're in an unfamiliar area and want to grab a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and cheerful too.

I arrived around 5 pm to avoid the expected crowds, but to my surprise, there was already a long line. After waiting for about an hour, I finally got a seat and ordered from the spring/summer menu, focusing on the new items. The interior of the restaurant was clean and bright, with a modern design. I ordered a variety of dishes and drinks, all priced at 280 yen each due to the half-price promotion. Despite my initial concerns about the order quantity, everything went smoothly, and I enjoyed a total of 12 dishes and 4 drinks for only 2240 yen. The value for money at Torikizoku is impressive, especially during promotions like this. The operation of the restaurant seemed efficient even during the busy period. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend Torikizoku for casual dining or small parties.
