This is a yakiniku restaurant in Mashike Town with various types of seating options such as private rooms and counter seats, making it suitable for different occasions. The staff are friendly and fun! While the menu mainly focuses on yakiniku, there are also plenty of side dishes including pizza! This time, we had yakiniku and took the pizza to go. The special wagyu kalbi was delicious with a good marbling for its price of 1300 yen. The thick-cut premium beef tongue was also a hit, even with my husband who doesn't usually eat tongue. The hormone (offal) was fresh and easy to eat. The sauce was on the sweeter side, which paired well with the meat, but it could get a bit too sweet if you eat it for a long time. So, we alternated between the sauce and salt. The quality of the meat was good, so it was tasty even with just salt. It would have been perfect with some mountain wasabi. The vegetable salad was cheap but had a generous portion, and the fact that you can have cold noodles even in winter was a plus. Lastly, the pizza we took out (tomato sauce, the photo is before reheating the next day so it looks solid). When we reheated it in the toaster the next day, the dough was soft and chewy, and the toppings were melt-in-your-mouth delicious! It was hands down the best pizza from a restaurant in Rumoi Subprefecture!!! I was going to give a rating of 3.8 just for the yakiniku, but the pizza was so good that I give it a rating of 4.0!
