2015.12================This is the 25th stop on the Asahikawa Sweets Stamp Rally at a place that was already one of my favorite spots, "Patisserie Petit Bonheur". Located in Asahikawa City, Nagayama 7-jo 4-chome, you can find the map here → [http://goo.gl/maps/Ln7jj]. Open from 10:00 to 19:30, with irregular holidays. Parking available. When I first saw it open, I thought it was definitely a beauty salon! It's quite popular and the display inside is very stylish. Everything looks so delicious, it's hard to choose. But this time, I was immediately drawn to this one: Pineapple Jelly for 288 yen. The price is reasonable, and having a pineapple-focused dessert is quite unique. It's delicious with a jelly-like texture and the fibers of the pineapple add a tropical feel to it. The coconut mousse at the bottom is refreshing and a perfect finish. As a pineapple lover, I couldn't miss this one. It's a must-try item.
2013.8================Introducing a new cake shop, "Patisserie Petit Bonheur". Located in Asahikawa City, Nagayama 7-jo 4-chome, you can find the map here. Open from 10:00 to 19:30, with irregular holidays. Parking available. If you read my previous blog post, you might have noticed something. Yes, it's the same address as the Okinawan restaurant "Gachimaya" I wrote about yesterday! The order got mixed up, but I actually discovered "Gachimaya" on my way to "Patisserie Petit Bonheur". The building is quite unique and doesn't look like a cake shop at all. The cozy and stylish interior, the colorful sweets in the showcase, it's all so nice. I also tried their Croissant, which was crispy on the outside and soft inside, very delicious. I also had their Half-Baked Souffle for 315 yen, which was incredibly tasty with a fluffy and creamy texture. If you like sweets, this is a must-try. I also tried their Bagged Sweets, Walnut and Chocolate Cake for 135 yen, and Pineapple Cake for 135 yen, both of which were good. The Walnut and Chocolate Cake could have had more walnuts, but the taste was good. The Pineapple Cake had a tropical flavor, which I enjoyed. There are still many more items I want to try, so I will definitely go back.
