I came for lunch. It's my first visit. I ordered the sashimi set meal with small side dishes and soup for 930 yen. The small side dish was octopus tempura. Since I have the evening off today, I also ordered a bottle of beer. The sashimi included tuna, yellowtail, and more, and I was satisfied with the portion. The amount of rice was also good. I am full. I also ordered an eel box sushi for dinner tonight. Looking forward to it. Thank you for the meal. I will come back again.

In December of the 4th year of Reiwa, there is a lunch special available from 11:00 to 14:00, which includes Sushi Set B for 860 yen. It consists of Chirashi Sushi, 3 pieces of Tekka Maki, 2 pieces of Unagi Nigiri, and Nyumen. The menu board at the store said it starts at 11:30, but you can actually enter and order from 11:00 onwards.

The Tekka don is pickled, but the tuna at the sushi restaurant is delicious. The uni on top of the nigiri is sweet. Instead of tamagoyaki, there is rice inside the tamago.

This is a sushi restaurant near Kintetsu Katagai Station. They offer nigiri set meals, chirashi set meals, and in winter they have fried oyster set meals. There are about 8 seats at the counter, and if you squeeze in, you can fit about 12 people at tables and sunken kotatsu seating, but it can get quite cramped. The clientele is mostly elderly, and there is always lively conversation among them. Today, I had the nigiri set meal, which came with miso soup and 8 pieces of sushi. While the quality of the ingredients may not be top-notch, they seem to be carefully selected, making you truly appreciate the meal.

A sushi restaurant quietly tucked away in an inconspicuous location. It's really a hidden gem that only those in the know are aware of. But once you open the door, even on a weekday, it's bustling with customers! There are so many bicycles parked outside, so maybe it's a favorite spot for locals to drop by...? Seriously, it's a great value place where you can easily go when you suddenly crave for some authentic sushi that isn't on a conveyor belt. I'm already thinking about going back again soon!!!!!!

I was told to wrap the takeout in newspaper when putting it in the refrigerator because the vinegar rice might become hard. I followed the advice, and when I ate it at night, the rice was a bit firm but still okay. As for the eel, it's a matter of preference, but for me who doesn't like the soft texture of the skin, it was just average. I prefer the skin to be crispy or have a tender texture rather than mushy. Next time, I will try eating at the restaurant.
