With the easing of the self-restraint on the number of people in Osaka Prefecture, we were able to gather together after a long time. There was a semi-private room where we could relax. We made sure not to speak loudly and enjoyed ourselves. There were various menu items such as sashimi, rolled omelette, oden, and grated tofu, so everyone could choose what they wanted to eat. It was convenient and useful when there were many people.

I visited the restaurant for lunch right after it opened. They offer rice, miso soup, and unlimited servings of mentaiko. The portion size was generous, but unfortunately, refills were not allowed. Considering the location, I think it offers good value for money. There is a call button on the table, so the staff do not walk around the dining area. The miso soup was weak and lukewarm, and there were some issues like chipped dishes, a dirty teapot spout, scattered shichimi in the condiment set, chopsticks placed upside down, and a burnt-out light bulb. Overall, I was disappointed with these aspects.

After making a last-minute reservation for 7 people, we arrived at the restaurant. Upon entering, we were told we could only stay for an hour and a half, and the service was slow. The kushikatsu that came out was terrible - maybe they fried too much at once? They didn't provide any sauce, claiming it's their specialty to eat it with just salt. Was it just bad timing on our part? It's strange that this place has decent reviews. Won't be going back.

It was packed because it was the weekend! I was very satisfied with the course meal that included sukiyaki. The kushikatsu was good with salt, but personally I didn't love it. The mackerel sushi to finish was excellent! The staff at the restaurant were quick and it's a great place to enjoy delicious sake with Japanese food!

The inside of the store has rough stones on the walls, giving it a luxurious feel. There are various menu items, but there are a lot of tofu dishes. The meal came with soy milk udon, but the aftertaste was like milk. Well, that's because it's soy milk. Thank you for the meal! ✨

I was attracted to the idea of all-you-can-eat mentaiko, but it seems that it is only available on weekdays. I found out about this after waiting in line for about 30 minutes and entering the restaurant on a weekend. It was too hot for sukiyaki, so I ordered the sweet and sour sauce chicken. The taste was pretty good and the service was fine, but I couldn't help feeling a little disappointed because it was different from what was written on the menu. Maybe it was an issue with the presentation? Thank you for the meal.

JR Osaka Station, located just north of Granfront Osaka South Building on the 7th floor. It's very convenient for work-related events or after-work gatherings since it's close to major train stations. I have used this place multiple times and this time I came with a friend for lunch. We had the sashimi set for 1,390 yen and the healthy vegetable set for 1,490 yen.

I visited during the opening time but there were many reservations. The lunch menu and the popular mentaiko dish were delicious, but the seating was too close to the neighboring table, making it hard to have a relaxing meal. (It depends on the other customers present...) Also, the male staff member provided very polite service.

I went after 12 o'clock and had to wait in line for quite a while, but it was worth it! They have a wide variety of set meals and all-you-can-eat mentaiko (seasoned cod roe)! I chose the fried chicken set meal and was pleasantly surprised to receive free tartar sauce! It was delicious. Rice refills were also free, and I ended up eating too much mentaiko. The cost performance was excellent. I will definitely go back again.

I came here for lunch around 11:30 on a regular day. It's a bit hidden in Grand Front, so it's quiet away from the hustle and bustle. I had the chawanmushi hamburger set. The main dish was a small pot of chawanmushi topped with a Japanese-style sauce hamburger, a limited quantity menu that I tried for the first time and found it delicious. When I left the restaurant, it was sold out, so I think it's popular. On weekdays, you can have unlimited refills of mentaiko (spicy cod roe), rice, and soup, which made me very happy. The mentaiko comes in a pot when you first sit down, along with tea. The location in Grand Front, the weekday special of unlimited mentaiko for 1290 yen is quite a deal. I want to try other set meals next time.

It had been a while since I had dinner with my daughters. We reserved a private room, so we could talk leisurely. The food was not particularly outstanding, but it was delicious in general. The tempura skewers were delicious.

In March 2023, a university alumni reunion was held at "Washoku Tachibana" in Grand Front Osaka. Despite only 5 attendees, who had graduated over 30 years ago, they enjoyed a course meal with all-you-can-drink option. The course included a sashimi platter, Japanese beef sukiyaki-style hot pot, and shrimp and conger eel tempura, all for 7,000 yen. The dishes served were individually plated and included various items such as boiled komatsuna and whitebait, three appetizers, five kinds of sashimi, simmered pork belly with vegetables, and more. They also enjoyed Dotonbori beer and other drinks during the 120-minute all-you-can-drink session. They opted out of the additional 1,000 yen option for unlimited local sake and premium Japanese sake. Overall, they had a great dining experience.

I went to a restaurant in Grand Front Osaka and sat at a table. I ordered the kushikatsu set meal, and the kushikatsu was freshly fried and easy to eat, with sweet onion skewers. The pudding that came with the set meal was rich and delicious.

All you can drink for 90 minutes for 4,000 yen. I was amazed at how they can offer such a variety of dishes at this price for 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink service!

I wanted to have lunch with my child at Grand Front, so I searched and made a reservation at this restaurant. There are many semi-private rooms that are easy to visit with children, and they have baby chairs and small plates which was very helpful. If I have to say something negative, it would be that the baby chairs don't have belts, so I think a chair belt is necessary for small children. The taste was good, and the cod roe was all-you-can-eat, so the rice went down easily. The cod roe was quite spicy, so my friend who doesn't like spicy food couldn't eat it. Haha.

Tachibana Fugu Restaurant @ Osaka 2022/11/09 (Wed)
After finishing work in Osaka, I had a light meal before boarding the Nozomi train back. I went to the Tachibana Japanese restaurant on the 7th floor of Grand Front South Building. First, I had a Dotonbori Beer Osaka Alt. It was delicious! Then I had some fugu (blowfish) karaage, fugu sashimi, and matsutake mushroom foil grill. The Dotonbori Beer Kolsch I ordered was sold out, so I had a Super Dry instead. I also had grilled fugu, pecoros, and asparagus skewers, and a Highball. The Highball was surprisingly weak. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

Gathered from various places for a fan event, we wanted to have a meal together. We were looking for a place with easy access and private rooms, and ended up choosing this place. The location was convenient, the private rooms were nice and clean, and the deep-fried skewers were freshly cooked and crispy. We were having so much fun that we forgot to take many pictures, but we had a delicious and enjoyable time. The staff was friendly, making it a great trip. There were four of us at the party, and we all agreed that this place was the best! The top recommendation was the "Red Sweet Potato with Maple Syrup" (forgot to take a picture, lol). The natural sweetness of the sweet potato combined with the maple syrup was absolutely amazing! Definitely give it a try!

Family trip to Umeda. Wanted to have lunch at Hankyu, but ended up being drawn to Tachibana's showcase with kids' lunch options. Hmm, pretty standard. But, with young kids, it's fine. When we entered the restaurant, we were able to use a spacious semi-private room!! Very family-friendly. I ordered the tonkatsu lunch. The tonkatsu had a very thick and crispy coating, almost like eating just the coating. It was super crunchy, but didn't have much meat flavor, and all the juices seemed to be gone. If you just want to eat without thinking too much, it's okay. Thank you for the meal.

The last order was at 2:30 and I just made it in time! When I went, there were a lot of people dining alone for lunch. The 1000 yen lunch at Grand Front is great. And it seems like you can eat as much rice, soup, mentaiko, and zaru tofu as you want. I ordered the Chicken Nanban set. The zaru tofu came out right away. It was soft and had a gentle flavor. Even though you can eat as much mentaiko as you want, they also serve pickled plums and cucumbers! Such a generous portion! The Chicken Nanban is thinly fried, so it's made with chicken breast but not tough, and the tartar sauce that comes with it is to my liking! It's great that there's plenty of it. The mentaiko is spicy and delicious! But it's spicy so I couldn't eat too much of it. The interior of the restaurant is clean and considering its location in Grand Front, the cost performance is satisfying! Thank you for the meal!

Today I visited Tachibana-san! The shop is located on the 7th floor of Grand Front South Building. When I passed by before, I saw the words "All-you-can-eat mentaiko" on the menu board! I couldn't think of anything else, so I honestly didn't care about the main dish (laughs). There were other items listed for free refills, but I think it was just rice, so I didn't bother looking and entered the shop.
Today's Order:
Special Zaru Dofu with Chicken Karaage Set for 1000 yen
The Zaru Dofu was served first! It looked like a beautiful tofu with a pudding-like smooth skin! A spoon was provided. Yeah, it looks like pudding (laughs). I added condiments to the broth and enjoyed it! The tofu was slightly warm and had a pudding-like texture! Delicious!
When all the set meals were ready, I asked the staff, "Which items are free refills?" They said, "Mentaiko, special Zaru Dofu, rice, and soup are free refills!" Huh... Tofu is refillable? Seriously!! That's amazing! Wonderful! I changed my plans from eating a lot of mentaiko to focusing on balance (laughs). "Refill please!" "Mentaiko, tofu, and rice!" I have to touch on the main dish a bit (laughs).
The chicken was made with chicken thigh meat and the portion was quite standard. The coating was a bit hard and lacked juiciness in the meat itself, not really to my liking. Unfortunately, the miso soup was also light... (sigh). But the tofu and mentaiko covered for it (laughs).
All of this for 1000 yen including tax at Grand Front!! Applause!! Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food other than the special Zaru Dofu because I was so focused on eating when I slipped into the shop just before closing. The staff mentioned that they may not be able to serve the special Zaru Dofu after the last order time. I'll remember that! Satisfied! Satisfied! Thank you for the meal!

Tachibana Hana Sushi! Kinka Saba Set Meal for 1000 yen! I have been exploring the area around Grand Front recently. I found a great healthy meal at this restaurant! The Kinka Saba (mackerel) was big! It also came with oboro tofu and all-you-can-eat mentaiko (seasoned cod roe). Rice refills are free, which is great for students! The service was very fast, perfect for busy office workers who are short on time. Thank you for the delicious meal!
