We decided to visit another bar, and ended up at this one. It is located on the first floor of a building in a hotel district along the Naka River, just across the canal. The bar is run by DJ EIJI. Even though it was still a bit cold in early spring, the outdoor space was closed. However, during the summer, you can enjoy a delicious beer while looking at the night view along the river. We sat at a booth this time, but sitting at the counter and chatting with EIJI seems like it would be fun too. I definitely want to come back here.

I went to a live show, enjoyed my first taste of Hakata street food stalls, and walked back to the hotel wanting to drink a little more, so I went into the bar on the first floor of the hotel. The bar, located by the Nakagawa River, has a terrace seat as well. The name of the bar is "DJ EIJI's BAR Nami to Koi," or "Hatsukoi" for short. There were no customers, so I sat at the counter and started with a highball. After a while, two men of my generation came in. As I switched from a highball to a single malt on the rocks and started to feel the alcohol seeping into my body, one of the men next to me asked, "Did you go to the live show?" It seemed he noticed from our T-shirts. I answered, "Yes," and he asked, "Was it good?" I replied, "Yes, it was great!" Later, the man's companion left, and I continued chatting with the man, who turned out to be the owner of the bar. I had a feeling he might be the owner (laughs). The owner, DJ EIJI, is a well-known radio personality in Fukuoka. He had a great service spirit and shared many interesting stories with me. I was moved when he played guitar and sang. The variety of alcoholic drinks was impressive, and the atmosphere of the bar was fantastic! I will definitely visit again when I go to Fukuoka. I am grateful for this wonderful encounter.

My friend came from Tokyo and said, "It's my first time in Hakata~♪", so I came up with a stylish sightseeing plan for Hakata♪ For dinner, we had Hakata Mizutaki at Torida Hakata Honten located behind the Hakataza theater, and then enjoyed a cruise tour of Nakasu night view on the Naka River that divides Nakasu, the entertainment district of Hakata. During the cruise, we saw the lights of many bars and restaurants along the riverside in Haruyoshi and Nishi Nakasu. Some places had glass walls or terrace seats. Although my local friends and I don't usually go to food stalls or riverside bars, we decided to enjoy the night view. After exploring the food stall district and Nakasu, my friend and I went to a riverside bar. Since the places near Nakasu were crowded, we went further back and found a bar with available seats by chance. It was "Premol Ambassador DJ EIJI's BAR Nami to Koi (First Love)". The bar of DJ Eiji, a popular local DJ I have had the pleasure of being on the radio with a few times before. Eiji is also a surfer, so the interior of the bar has a sea theme. There are terrace seats as well. Since we were there, we decided to sit on the counter table facing the river (for 2-3 people). We're not on a date, but it's perfect for a date (laughs). Now, what should we drink? I read in a media article later that "Premol poured by Eiji from the crystal tower server is exquisite" but at that time, my friend had a Hakushu highball, and I had a mojito. My impression was... hmm, maybe I should have had the Premol (laughs). The bill came to 3,900 yen for the two of us. The atmosphere is excellent.
