I visited a cafe after having a full meal at Komugi-no and just wanted to have a drink. Following the map on Tabelog, I rode my bike and found a sign that seemed right, but the location was different from the map, so I didn't pay much attention and kept going until I arrived at Schönberg (laughs). "Oh, this place also has a different map notation. So, the previous place must be it!" I turned back and found it. However, the sign here is noticeable when coming from Niseko, but easy to miss when coming from Makkari, so be careful. As soon as you enter the road, there is a building, but it looks different. The store is located quite deep from Route 66. The sign at the entrance of the store is noticeable, so suppress your anxiety and keep moving forward (laughs). This store, located in a place where you can see Mt. Yotei, is a fairly large building with a spacious garden. As expected in autumn, there were no flowers blooming, but you can enjoy the calm atmosphere unique to autumn. The building is three stories high, and the entrance is at the back of the second floor corridor. The interior of the store is bright and calm, with a view overlooking the garden. There was a review saying that meals are by reservation only, so I thought of just having a drink, but it seems you can have a meal without a reservation if it's not crowded. The atmosphere inside the store was good, and although there were a decent variety of drinks, there was no dessert menu, so I decided to go all out and have the lunch set (laughs). There is only one meal menu, which comes with a sandwich and plenty of healthy side dishes. Even though I was already full, I wondered if I could eat all of this, but I challenged myself with an "it's a waste" mindset. However, when I tried it, the seasoning was modest, allowing you to enjoy the deliciousness of the ingredients. It's a natural seasoning, likely to appeal to health-conscious women. The shiso juice I had after the meal was sour but a taste I love, I wanted a refill. And what I was curious about was the coffee, which I didn't have high expectations for, but it was a delicious strong coffee. The coffee here uses beans from a coffee company run by the son of the world-renowned reggae musician Bob Marley, which piqued my interest. The store seems to be run by a family, and I thought the store was a combination of a home, but the home is actually located behind the store, making it a luxurious store. The large garden seems to be a lot of work for gardening, and they jokingly said that weeding is the most difficult. I often ride on the road near the store during my Niseko tours, but this was the first time I saw the sign, so I asked when it opened. It opened this spring, which explains why I didn't recognize it. This year's business will end at the end of October, and next year's opening is planned around the time when Niseko Panorama Line is reopened from winter closure. I have requested the map to be corrected to the administrator, so I think it will be corrected by the beginning of next week. After eating two satisfying lunches, I didn't feel hungry at all when I got home, and ended up skipping dinner last night. I indulged in delicious food after a long time (laughs).
