On a certain day in September, I finally had the chance to visit this place that caught my attention every time I passed by. It's a family-friendly restaurant, with several families already inside when I arrived. It seems to be quite popular, as individual customers also started coming in later on. As it was my first time, I ordered the soy sauce ramen. I noticed that you have to get your own water here. The ramen was served soon after. It looked a bit plain with just one slice of chashu, small seaweed, and some green onions. I took a sip of the soup - no comment. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice texture. The chashu was well-seasoned and had a good chew to it. The green onions were thinly sliced with a slicer. I overheard another customer ordering a special ramen with extra toppings, which made me realize that this place is known for its more elaborate and delicious options. It was a helpful insight!

July 9, 2022 Revisit "53rd Ramen of 2022" Now, it's time for lunch. When it comes to ramen in Anping, there is Takiramen nearby, but today I decided to go to this place a little further away. San-Jyu Ramen [2nd visit] It's not actually the second visit, but that's how it shows on Tabelog (;^_^A I've always been curious about this place along the route I pass by, and finally decided to try it out for the first time thanks to Tabelog. The first impression was terrible. The second time, I somehow felt the goodness of it. Let's see how it goes this time. Looks like it's the special miso ramen today. A man entered right after me. I ordered the special miso ramen. By the way, the man who came in after me ordered the salt ramen. The taciturn chef started cooking, and a family of three entered the shop. It seems like this place is truly loved by the locals. It took about 5 minutes before the ramen was served~ It's just a regular miso ramen. I already have a sense of the taste. Took a sip of the soup. Hmm... yes, this is the taste. A light mouthfeel, the lard is also light. The broth is somewhat vague, lacking in punchy saltiness. But the taste is not bad. The noodles are typical Sapporo style, cooked just right. They go well with the soup. The vegetables are boiled with a chewy texture. The chashu is on the tougher side, really hard (laughs). One slice is enough. Other toppings include menma, seaweed, and an egg. The egg is thinly sliced boiled egg, not really necessary. So, based on this review so far, it may seem like nothing special. But as you eat, it starts to grow on you, and you begin to feel the charm of this place! The minced meat in the vegetables is one reason, but in the end, I finished the soup completely satisfied. There was a sense of fulfillment. I don't know, as you keep going to this place, the more you appreciate it (;^_^A The true charm of this place is still unknown. However, it's a fact that many people are captivated by it. To unravel this mystery, should I visit a few more times or not? This is a truly puzzling place that makes you ponder. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

Special Salt Bean Sprout Ramen 830 yen My first visit this year to Anpei Sankyuu. Since I went to Tomakomai Sankyuu before, I had secretly decided that I must come here as well. As popular as ever. The counter and tables are full. There is a slightly open raised seating area. I was prepared for a long wait, but surprisingly, it didn't take that long to be served. The bean sprouts are tender and go well with the salt flavor. The chashu is a bit dry, but when soaked in the soup, it's not a problem. The sliced boiled egg is oddly nostalgic. The surface is covered in oil, so it stays hot until the end. They also sell vegetables inside the restaurant.

Honestly, it may be difficult for first-time visitors to evaluate the taste of this ramen shop. It is a popular spot among locals and truck drivers, located along Route 234 where even trailers can park. The taste is a traditional light Sapporo-style ramen which becomes addictive the more you eat, as some customers have mentioned. The variety of condiments, including red pickled ginger, is also a unique feature. It is recommended to specify your preference for noodle firmness as it can vary from day to day. Today, the noodles were on the softer side. I gave this place a rating of 3.4, but deducted 0.5 points for being slightly less cost-effective compared to other nearby options. However, it is still a place worth revisiting.

Yubari-gun, Anpachi-cho, Anpachi 437-2 is "Ajiman Sapporo Ramen San Kyu" located along National Route 234. I had the special miso ramen (850 yen) there. The ramen was topped with green onions, bamboo shoots, chashu, bean sprouts, ground meat, half a boiled egg, and seaweed. I had originally planned to visit a ramen shop in Ofune, but it was closed for the day. I tried another shop but found out it was closed for the month of February. So, I went a bit further south and found "San Kyu" where I decided to eat. San Kyu also has a shop in Tomakomai. The Anpachi branch of San Kyu is run by someone who trained at the Tomakomai shop. The interior of the restaurant has 6 counter seats, several table seats, and even a few raised tatami seats. It is a non-smoking establishment. The menu includes: - Salt / Shoyu Ramen 700 yen - Salt / Shoyu Bean Sprout Ramen 750 yen - Miso Ramen 780 yen - Special Salt / Shoyu Bean Sprout Ramen 830 yen - Special Miso Ramen 850 yen - Rice 200 yen, Small 170 yen, and more. The noodles in the special miso ramen were of the Nishiyama type, medium-thick curly noodles typical of Sapporo ramen. The soup was a classic Sapporo-style miso, with the special version having extra ground meat for added richness. The chashu was made from thigh meat, and half a boiled egg was included, making it a traditional Sapporo miso ramen. Towards the end, I added grated garlic and shichimi pepper to enhance the flavor even more. Nowadays, there are many shops that focus solely on richness (especially in Sapporo miso ramen), so it was nice to enjoy this old-fashioned Sapporo-style ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I recently discovered a ramen shop that looks like a drive-in, by changing the road I usually take. I passed by once and then turned back to enter. The ramen was hot and had a nostalgic taste. I ordered the special miso ramen, but forgot to ask how it's different from regular miso ramen. The flavor was a bit light, but it wasn't a problem.

If you feel like eating ramen, this is the place to go. They have special soy sauce chashu ramen. The difference is that the special one has ground meat and stir-fried bean sprouts added to the traditional ramen, making it more satisfying. The chashu in the chashu noodle is moist, not dry, which is perfect for those who prefer that. The regular ramen comes with moist chashu. I always have a hard time deciding between miso, soy sauce, and salt flavors here. It's a bit far from Sapporo, but definitely worth the visit!

Due to the impact of the earthquake, it took our shop one month to reopen. I visited to show support by eating. The soy sauce ramen was satisfying, although I felt it could have been a bit more filling. It suited my taste buds though! Delicious. It reminded me of how ramen used to taste. I asked, "Do you know San Kyu from Tomakomai?" The chef replied, "I trained there until 30 years ago." In that case, I must come back to try the special miso ramen! The chef said, "Come back again~" Soy sauce ramen for 650 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

Photo, special soy sauce bean sprout ramen. It is suitable for those who prefer a light taste. The parking lot is large, so it seems that truck drivers and locals are coming.

When it comes to Hokkaido, yes, miso ramen is a must-try. On this snowy afternoon, I had salted bean sprout ramen with rice. What a combination! Visited around 2:00 PM on February 17, Heisei 29. Left the Doto Oibito Interchange and headed south on Route 234. This restaurant along the national highway has a large parking lot. The interior has a drive-in feel with counter seats, table seats, and a raised tatami area, accommodating around 40 people. The clear soup with crunchy bean sprouts really warmed me up. Thank you for the meal. Salted bean sprout ramen for 680 yen, rice for 180 yen.

On July 30, 2016, I returned to a ramen shop that I had visited when I first started using Tabelog. The shop was Three Nine Ramen, and I remembered giving it a low rating with no strong impression. However, with the experience of trying hundreds of ramen shops since then, I thought it might be interesting to revisit and see if my impression has changed. Upon arrival, I ordered the special miso ramen, as I had found the regular miso ramen to be lacking in flavor during my previous visit. The owner prepared the ramen, mixing the soup with chopsticks in a memorable way. The ramen arrived in about 6 minutes, looking like a classic Sapporo-style miso ramen. The soup had a standard taste, which I used to find unimpressive in the past, but now I've grown to appreciate this nostalgic style. The noodles were firm, with soft vegetables that complemented the dish well. The ground meat added richness to the soup, although the chashu was a bit tough and overly flavorful. Overall, the balance of flavors was quite good, but it lacked a strong punch. This type of ramen may become a favorite for those who eat it regularly, as it has a unique taste that can grow on you. Despite not having many ramen shops in the area, Three Nine seems to have its share of regular customers. It was a delicious meal, and I enjoyed it.

Ramen shop in Anping-cho (formerly Tsuifun). During lunchtime, it is quite lively with truck drivers and salesmen. Miso ramen is a simple and traditional dish. Bean sprouts, tough chashu, hard-boiled egg... The direct taste of miso may no longer be a "rare species." It feels like this shop has survived because of this area, but you can enjoy the stable and reliable taste unique to the veteran owner. There is also a popular ramen shop with the same name in Tomakomai, but the connection has not been confirmed.

If there was a miso flavor in the old-fashioned way, it would be called "old-fashioned miso ramen". I wonder if it exists. Unlike recent miso ramen, it has a miso flavor but it's not a sharp miso taste, it's a mellow taste. The strong ginger flavor is calming without any unpleasant smell, it's a miso ramen with the taste of an old shop. They also serve a special miso ramen at "Yamaku" in Funami-cho, Tomakomai City, which has similar ingredients and taste. Is it a branch of the same restaurant? There is also "Soba Tetsu" a few kilometers away (from Tomakomai) so I sometimes hesitate, but it's a nostalgic taste that I occasionally crave. Even when I visit at different times, it's always crowded.

I visited this restaurant on my way back from the ski resort during my trip back home. It was lunchtime and there were many cars parked outside, so I decided to stop by to warm up my cold body. This place holds many childhood memories for me, and even on my way back, there were a few other customers enjoying their meals. The main branch is in Tomakomai, but I used to visit this branch often as well, and both locations serve delicious food. This time, I ordered the special miso ramen with bean sprouts and minced meat, and when I added pickled ginger while eating, it enhanced the flavor even more. The restaurant has private seating areas and is popular among families in the local area. The casual conversations with the owner added to the cozy atmosphere of the place.
