I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho Norimatsu store, a chain restaurant in Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City. I ordered the Tianjin rice and gyoza set. The gyoza was hot and crispy on the outside, with juicy meat filling. The Tianjin rice had fluffy eggs and the sauce was delicious.

It's really wonderful to be able to enjoy such delicious Chinese food at this price. However, the restaurant seemed busy and I felt that there was a shortage of waitstaff. It's understandable that there's a backlog of orders due to the lack of staff, but it was a bit sad to see the dishes piling up in the kitchen. Still, the food was delicious so it was worth it!

Let's turn back time. I had a rough day at work, and even though I don't drink alcohol, I tend to overeat when stressed out. So, I decided to go to "Shozan" in Orio. I had initially planned to order ramen, rice, and gyoza, but before entering the restaurant, I noticed "Gyoza no Osho" at the back of Shozan and changed my mind to have gyoza there instead. I went in, ordered a non-alcoholic beer and gyoza. However, I couldn't help but think that I actually wanted to have Kyoto-style ramen with rice, being from Kansai, instead of the miso ramen I had earlier. Then I remembered that the rich ramen at Osho is actually Kyoto-style! So, despite having just eaten ramen and rice, I ended up ordering the rich ramen and rice. I decided to skip the gyoza this time. In terms of price, it was the best value for money taste. The rice arrived quickly, so I enjoyed the gyoza for a while. The ramen took a bit longer to come, but the soup was undeniably rich in Kyoto-style flavor. The rice was going down smoothly! However, the noodles felt a bit heavy, perhaps they were overcooked or absorbed too much soup, making it feel dense. It took a while to cook, so maybe there was a delay in the presentation. But that's within the acceptable range, as there are inconsistencies even at the Kokura branch. I might try asking for firmer noodles next time. They might accommodate it, as they are willing to do things like double-sided grilling. Unintentionally completed the Osho experience! If they open a new branch somewhere, I'll definitely go again!

I had some errands to run at a nearby store, so I decided to have lunch at Gyoza no Ohsho Norimatsu store. It had been a while since I last visited this Norimatsu store. I had been there for dinner a few times before, but this was my first time having lunch there. It seemed like there were quite a few families dining there. I was seated at the counter and ordered the following: - Gyoza (242 yen including tax) - Fried rice (440 yen including tax) - Stir-fried pork and leek (528 yen including tax) I hadn't had breakfast, so I ordered quite a hearty meal. The Stir-fried pork and leek, Gyoza, and Fried rice were all delicious as always, and I was very satisfied. The flavors were solid and consistent. However, one thing that bothered me was the egg soup that came with the fried rice. The flavor was stronger than usual... It was a bit too strong compared to the Norimatsu store near Kokura Station that I usually go to. I could still drink it, but it was noticeably stronger. I finished the soup and the meal, as it is my policy not to waste food. Also, as you can see in the photos, there was no vinegar provided... I'm sure they would bring it if I asked, but I wish they had it readily available. The main dishes were delicious without any complaints. However, the soup could use some improvement. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Sweet and sour pork for 550 yen, small rice for 154 yen - it was Gyoza no Ohsho. I wasn't sure how they conducted the survey, but it was surprisingly unexpected. I've never been to the 2nd place, Ootoya. I arrived at 2:30pm and the restaurant was empty. I ordered the regular portion of sweet and sour pork for myself. I was curious about the garlic-packed gyoza, but I was afraid of exceeding my capacity, so I passed on it this time. The sweet and sour pork had a lot of meat and the vegetables like green peppers and onions were crunchy and delicious. However, the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. I didn't know before, but they have a just-right size menu, which seems very convenient.

It was a rainy night, and I was feeling hungry. I thought, "I should go to Matsuya for some food." As I turned on the TV, I saw a video of someone enjoying dumplings. "Dumplings sound good," I thought. So, I decided to buy some dumplings from a nearby Osho restaurant and have a beer at home. Although the state of emergency was recently lifted in Fukuoka, where I live, I decided to be cautious and have a home drinking session instead of going out. The Osho restaurant is about a 7-8 minute drive from my home. I wore the Abenomask that was delivered to my house and visited the restaurant. The restaurant was quiet, with only one group of customers dining in. I placed my order for fried rice, dumplings, and sweet and sour pork. I was informed that there would be a container fee of 30 yen. After a short wait, I received my order and headed back home. The staff member who served me had a big smile on her face, which made me feel good. I returned home, opened a bottle of beer, and enjoyed the dumplings and sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork had a nice balance of sweet and sour flavors with tender pork and crunchy vegetables. The dumplings were a bit soggy from the steam, but the crispy parts added a nice texture. I finished my meal with some tea and fried rice, although the reheated fried rice was not as good as when eaten fresh at the restaurant. Overall, Osho is a convenient option for a casual Chinese meal at home, and I look forward to trying their ramen next time.

I visited around 5:00 pm. The set meal menu has been refined since the last time I visited. This time, I ordered the Gyoza Set for 890 yen. It came with gyoza, mini Tenshin (without rice), rice, kimchi, and a thickened soup similar to ankake. The variety has decreased compared to before, but I still love the gyoza set the most. The Tenshin ankake and the soup ankake were a bit similar, I thought it would be nice to have a salad or something different. However, the portion was generous and the taste was delicious, so I was satisfied. The fried rice in the picture also looked delicious. Next time, I might try the ramen and fried rice set.

When I lived in Hakata, I used to go to Gyoza no Ohsho (mainly the Futamataze location) all the time. After moving to Kitakyushu City for about 8 years, there are not many Gyoza no Ohsho restaurants here, and none in my area. I met up with an acquaintance from my Hakata days and we decided to have a meal at Gyoza no Ohsho. We usually order almost the same thing. My friend orders Tenshinhan and Gyoza, while I go for Champon and bottled beer. Sometimes, when I have a little extra money, I add items like Bang Bang Chicken, Chicken Karaage, Mapo Tofu, and Shrimp in Chili Sauce. When I saw the Gyoza at Ohsho again, I was surprised! They were about twice the size as before. The taste is still delicious. The Champon, after a long time, was also full of ingredients and delicious (scallops, shrimp, quail eggs, wood ear mushrooms, etc.). So much variety! And all this for 580 yen (excluding tax) is such great value. The Tenshinhan also looks very delicious. I hope a Gyoza no Ohsho opens nearby soon.

I felt like eating gyoza so I went. I ordered the yakisoba (soy sauce) for the first time and it was delicious, I want to order it again. Also, I had gyoza, I forgot to ask for them well done.

The dish cost 726 yen and had a unique flavor. It did not come with any sauce. I wonder if the staff would have brought some if I had asked. The portion was filling.

I went to Gyoza no Ohsho for the first time in a while. It used to be in the neighborhood, but it closed down, so I had fewer chances to go there, but it's still a favorite place of mine. This time, I tried the lunch set that was advertised outside the store. "Hmm, no gyoza included?" I was drawn in by the price, so I ordered the lunch set without gyoza. What's Bibin Cha-han? Maybe it's a play on Bibimbap? The fried rice lacked the crispy texture, and the taste was a bit bland. The vegetable ramen didn't have as many vegetables as expected, and the taste was like regular Chinese noodles. Personally, I felt like I wanted to have gyoza next time. Overall, this time the rating was a bit low, but I think it's a good restaurant with consistent quality.

Visited the newly renovated Gyoza no Ohsho at the Norimatsu store for the first time with my family. We ordered 3 servings of gyoza, fried rice, kotteri ramen, and Chinese rice bowl. It arrived in about 3 minutes. The gyoza was devoured by the family in no time because the filling inside was delicious, truly living up to the name Gyoza no Ohsho! The fried rice tasted much better than before the renovation. However, the prices were a bit higher. I was happy to see plenty of char siu in it. The soup that came with it was a bit bland, I wished it had more flavor. The Chinese rice bowl was surprisingly less tasty despite the higher price. I hope they bring back the delicious Chinese rice bowl from before the renovation. The kotteri ramen had medium-thick straight noodles that were smooth and easy to eat. The moment I took a sip of the soup, it reminded me of the soup from Tenkaippin. It was so delicious, especially the char siu. When I visit again, I want to make the fried rice my main dish. Lastly, I filled out a survey in the store and received a coupon for my next visit. Thank you very much. It was very delicious! Thank you for the meal.

Today at lunch, I happened to pass by this place and ordered the daily special lunch set for 530 yen. Today's set included sweet and sour pork, soy sauce ramen, and 3 dumplings. The soy sauce ramen had simple toppings of green onions and wood ear mushrooms. The noodles were medium thin and quite standard. The sweet and sour pork, with its slightly firm sauce coating the rice, was very appetizing. I remember Yukki-san saying that "Sweet and sour pork is a drink," and I can see why, as I found myself swallowing without chewing towards the end! I wish there were more than just 3 dumplings though... Next time, I would like to try the dumpling set with 12 pieces.

The restaurant has table seats, counter seats, and tatami seats, but it can get crowded and you may have to wait. You can enjoy reasonably priced Chinese food here. If you order on the day, the gyoza portion for three people is large, but the amount of meat may be lacking and it lacks juiciness. I felt the ginger flavor was a bit strong. As for the ramen, it's decent. I love the plate of udon with meat and eggs, and the kikurage mushrooms. The fried chicken is made with chicken breast and has a slightly chewy texture. The portion of the udon is generous. One serving of white rice is enough for three people to get full. There are plenty of menu options, including set menus, so you can eat cheaply by combining them with sets. Also, the taste may vary depending on the chef of the day, but that's part of the charm, I guess (laughs).

Gyoza no Oushou is a restaurant that specializes in gyoza, just like the name suggests. The gyoza here are big and have a chewy skin filled with delicious ingredients. They are well-balanced and not too juicy. A serving includes 6 large gyoza for 200 yen, which is a great deal. The menu offers other tasty dishes at affordable prices as well. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has tatami seating. Overall, it's a great place to satisfy your gyoza cravings.

I used this restaurant for dinner. More than half of the seats were already taken when I ordered a set meal. After that, someone came in and ordered a drink and fried rice. Their fried rice and beer arrived, but even after finishing them, the main menu still hadn't come. It took a total of 25 minutes for my set meal to arrive. Many customers around me were getting irritated, and the staff were apologizing. I cannot recommend coming here when you are short on time. There were only 8 staff members working at that time.

Today, I went to the Gyoza no Oushou Norimatsu branch located along Route 3 in Yahatanishi Ward for dinner. The parking lot is spacious enough. They offer original set menus such as the Dandy Set for 880 yen (Chinjao Rosu, Karaage, 3 gyoza, rice, soup), the Ladies Set for 750 yen (Tenshinhan, small shrimp in chili sauce, salad, soup, almond fruit), and the Gyoza Set for 630 yen (2 servings of gyoza, karaage, small side dish, rice, soup). I ordered the Gyoza Set. The gyoza was as delicious as ever!
