If you are considering going to this restaurant, do not expect good customer service. I chose the cheapest all-you-can-eat option for cost performance. The downsides are: 1) They have a one drink per person policy, so I had to order the cheapest soft drink for 220 yen. The total cost for the all-you-can-eat and drink was around 2820 yen. 2) The quality of customer service is low. They were slow to change the grill even when asked, and when I asked for it a second time, they said they couldn't because there were ingredients on it. They should have told me that earlier... I was surprised that they didn't change it until I asked twice. They also didn't bring meat or vegetables until asked multiple times, and I had to ring the bell repeatedly. Other observations: I asked to exclude my dislikes like hormone and cheap sausages from the initial assortment. The beef was delicious. I mainly ordered galbi, harami, and loin. The condiments like green onions, cabbage, eringi mushrooms, pumpkin, Korean seaweed, and potato salad were also good.

Today's pick is Eikatei (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))). Compared to a certain cheap BBQ chain in Kyoto, the variety of dishes you could order and the quality of meat were a bit lower. It would have been nice to have more options for side dishes and desserts. But considering the price, I shouldn't expect too much. I realized that I'm reaching an age where all-you-can-eat might not be worth it anymore. I used to be able to eat a lot and make the most out of it, but not anymore. The price was 4,700 yen for all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat. I only drank beer, about 6 glasses. We only had the mino and harami for the all-you-can-eat. I walked straight east from Umeda and found a yakiniku restaurant in the back. I went there for a drinking party. It's nice that there is a ventilation fan above the grill so it's not smoky. However, the grill and ventilation fan can be a hindrance as it's hard to talk to the person across from you! The staff who bring the meat and drinks are efficient and cheerful, which is great for a yakiniku restaurant. Now, onto the food. The all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option for women at 2,800 yen is a good deal. The beef tongue comes out first, and you can try various sauces (Korean, sweet, spicy, miso, ponzu) which is fun. I was starting to get hooked on horumon when I tried the gatsu (pig stomach) and shiro (pig intestines) for the first time, and they were delicious! The kalbi was also reasonably tender and tasty, so considering the price, it's a pretty good restaurant, isn't it?

I had been to a restaurant in Tenjinbashi 8-chome a long time ago (also for a company drinking party), but this was my first time at a restaurant on Higashi-dori. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, with our group being seated on the top floor. There were tables with sunken kotatsu seating, but the tables were placed so closely together that it was a bit cramped when sitting back to back with the people at the next table. It may not bother some people, but it was a bit of a concern for me. However, the meat was of good quality, not what you would expect from an all-you-can-eat place. The menu is also quite extensive, so it's a perfect place for when you want to eat and drink heartily.
