Sapporo Station South Exit is right there, with easy access from JR, subway, and buses. Ten years ago, before moving to Hokkaido for work, I lived in Utsunomiya for 5 years. Utsunomiya is known for its gyoza, and I used to go to Min Min Honten, which was right near my office. I've been there many times. Now in Hokkaido, I've never had really delicious gyoza before. I want to try various kinds of gyoza. I finally got to visit this restaurant that I've been wanting to go to. I took a bus from my home in Shiroishi to the JR Bus Terminal, which was right in front of the restaurant. I'm going to eat a lot! First, I tried the bite-sized gyoza, which is their signature menu item, eaten with salt for a refreshing taste. It was juicy and tasty, so I couldn't stop eating. The high water content in the skin makes it soft even when cold, but I finished it before it could cool down. I also had the collagen-rich pig's foot beauty skin gyoza, the whole shrimp gyoza, the black pork gyoza, the shiso cheese gyoza, the spicy chicken curry gyoza, and the fresh horse sashimi three-way platter. The horse sashimi was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the spicy motsunabe, the tororo natto motsunabe, and the cheese risotto as a finishing touch. The pig guts slices with yuzu ponzu, the crispy cucumber with salt and sesame oil, and the sesame kanpachi were also very addictive. The gyoza, as well as the nabe and creative dishes, were all fantastic. I wonder when I can come back next time. By the time I left, there was already a line forming. Good restaurants are worth waiting for, right?

It was difficult to find a popular restaurant in the Sapporo Station South Exit area for a Sunday night gathering with 4 people, so we decided to play it safe and stick to the same building for our first round. We ended up at Hakata Gyoza Sha 603 Sapporo Station Front Store, which I had been to before and found to be affordable and delicious. The restaurant was lively and bustling, offering various types of bite-sized gyoza and Hakata specialties like horse sashimi. The horse sashimi trio platter was particularly delicious, with each type offering a unique and tasty experience. The Sakura Yukke was creamy and flavorful, while the Hakata 603 Gyoza with wings was simple but tasty with a sprinkle of salt. The Kyushu Black Pork Gyoza was juicy and flavorful without any overpowering taste. The Kimchi Gyoza was also delicious eaten as is. The Hakata simmered gyoza pot was a highlight, with a rich and tasty soup that made the dish even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a delicious and enjoyable time at Hakata Gyoza Sha 603 once again. Today's second stop was a Kyushu izakaya where gyoza was the main attraction. There, I encountered... the Umeshu Lemon Sour. Oh my goodness! Just the Umeshu Sour alone was satisfying, but they used frozen lemon instead of ice. As it melts, you mix the lemon into the Umeshu. Oh my, it's so delicious. Now, they have over 10 types of gyoza on the menu. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they suggested the black pork gyoza. Compared to regular gyoza, it was definitely juicier. The gyoza had a crispy skin, and the flavor and richness of the meat burst in your mouth. Since it was only the second stop of the day, I couldn't eat too much, but I definitely want to go all out next time. To finish off, I had the spicy miso horumon ramen. It was genuinely spicy. However, within the spiciness, the sweetness of the horumon emerged. The soup was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the cost performance was great. It was truly worth the price. Near the station, there is a recommended izakaya that is delicious! It was crowded as expected due to its popularity, but we were able to get in at the right timing. It's been a while since I last came here. We usually sit in the private room at the back, but this time we tried sitting at a table, which was fun. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. I chose the Honey Ginger highball from the various options available, and it was delicious with a strong flavor. The appetizer was Menma, which was tasty. We tried the Kyushu Black Pork Gyoza, which was rich and delicious. The Hakata 603 bite-sized gyoza was lighter compared to the black pork one. We also tried other types like Mentaiko Cheese and Kimchi gyoza, which were all flavorful and delicious. The Kimchi gyoza was particularly good and I will definitely order it again. The small size of the gyoza makes it perfect for dates or sharing among friends. There is also a Russian gyoza option, which looks the same as the others, but it would be fun to try and differentiate them for a better photo. The simmered gyoza hot pot was delicious with a flavorful broth. Apart from gyoza, we also enjoyed Sakura Yukke and a platter of three types of horse sashimi. It was a delightful experience with consistent deliciousness. The staff were all friendly and professional, which added to the overall positive impression. I will definitely consider trying their drink all-you-can or course menu next time. It was a satisfying and delicious meal. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

This time, I visited after having a meal in the same building. The entire restaurant was full except for the counter seats. Surprisingly crowded on a Sunday at 9 p.m. It's popular, so it's recommended to make a reservation or call before visiting. Let's go to "Hakata Gyoza Sha 603 Sapporo Station Front Store" on the second floor of the same building. It's crowded, but we were seated at a table. We ordered a platter of horse sashimi, Sakura Yukke, and of course, gyoza is a must-have. The pot-sticker gyoza is delicious! Someone recommended it, so let's give it a try. Let's enjoy it with a highball with lemon. The horse sashimi here is always good, with beautiful red meat and belly. However, Kouné is not good with animal fat, so she's the "queen of picky eaters" without even trying it. Gyoza is also delicious when eaten with special salt. I also like kimchi gyoza. Now, let's try the pot-sticker gyoza. When you think of Hakata hot pots, motsu nabe and Mizutaki come to mind, but apparently, pot-sticker gyoza has been popular even in the hometown for the past 10 years. It's my first time trying it. It's delicious! The gyoza with chewy skin in a milky soup rich in chicken collagen is amazing. And when you eat it with yuzu pepper, it's irresistible. The menu is extensive, so even though I've been here multiple times, I still discover new deliciousness every time. I wish I had room in my stomach to add thin noodles to the pot! Hakata Gyoza Sha is located on the second floor of a building a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station South Exit. I've been really hooked on this place lately. The gyoza here is amazing! They have gyoza in various sizes, but the regular small gyoza is enough. They also have a variety of lemon sours to choose from. The grilled hormone dish is incredibly delicious! The staff greet you with lovely smiles.

Having dinner in Sapporo! We decided to go to Hakata Gyoza-ya, which was the winner between gyoza and Chinese food options. It was a weekday night, but the restaurant was quite crowded. We were able to get a seat even without a reservation, which was great. I only took one photo and didn't take pictures of the menu, so I'll give an overall impression. As the name suggests, Hakata Gyoza-ya offers a variety of gyoza options. You can choose the quantity, and the gyoza are small-sized, so you can eat them quickly. The taste was delicious! We tried the regular gyoza, cheese gyoza, and stone pot gyoza. The pan-fried soup dumplings were also tasty with chewy skin. We enjoyed the all-you-can-drink option, which was reasonably priced and had a good variety. The best part was the fast service - the dishes were served quickly after ordering. The staff was efficient and friendly. We didn't do any research beforehand, but we were glad to have found such a great restaurant. I would love to go back again. Thank you for the meal!

I hadn't had motsunabe (tripe hot pot) this winter, so today I went for it. Used a coupon for extra portion of spicy miso motsunabe, and ended up ordering 3 servings for two people. It disappeared in no time, so we added more vegetables and garlic chives. It was incredibly delicious, and quite spicy. Ate so much that we didn't have room for the ramen at the end. When we asked for the bill, it came out to just under 9000 yen, even though we had made a reservation with points. Oh well, it was worth it for the great food and service. Will definitely come back if I have the chance. 😊

After getting a massage, I felt like having a drink and some dumplings as a snack, so I visited this place. This time, I spent my time with yuzu sake. First, I had vinegar motsu (offal), crispy cucumbers, a bite-sized gyoza, and sesame karapachi with a drink. The bite-sized gyoza was seasoned with salt and was amazing. Next, I had grilled xiaolongbao, boiled dumplings, and sweet potato tempura with another drink. The xiaolongbao and boiled dumplings were chewy and delicious. Lastly, I finished with grilled ramen for a satisfying end to the meal. I left with a full stomach.

What I ate - 1 bite-sized gyoza, 7 pieces of chicken wings in red hot sauce, homemade fried chicken, shrimp and mushroom ajillo, grilled chicken thighs. Visited Hakata Gyoza-ya 603 in the Sapporo Chuo-ku/Sapporo Station South Exit area after two years. Open from 1 pm, which is convenient. Ordered: - All-you-can-drink x2 for 1280 yen each - Otoshi x2 - Vinegar Offal - Smashed Cucumber - Black Pork Gyoza - Hakata One-Bite Gyoza - Miso Offal Hot Pot - TP Cilantro - TP Champon Noodles Total: 7582 yen Used a Hokkaido Gas coupon for a 500 yen discount! They used to have individual all-you-can-drink options, right? With beer included for 120 minutes, it feels like a good deal! Premium menu items like highball can be added for an additional cost. Toasted with Suntory Premium Malt beer! The otoshi was sesame-flavored menma, which was delicious. The vinegar offal and smashed cucumber arrived quickly and were both delicious snacks. The gyoza came with wings, neatly arranged with two types on one plate. They recommend eating them with salt, but the sauce was delicious. The crispy skin and juicy flavor made them a great match with beer. The staff recommended the miso offal hot pot, which was delicious! It was nice that you could order just one portion. I had the image that horse sashimi and local chicken in the Sapporo Station area would be dry, but the local chicken had a rich flavor and was delicious. Hello everyone, I really love the sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. When I'm in the mood for it, I go with my friends to "Hakata Gyoza-ya 603 Sapporo Station Front Store." As you enter the entrance and are guided to the table on the left, you can feel the lively atmosphere inside the restaurant with quite a crowd. We ordered horse sashimi, shiso cheese gyoza, shrimp gyoza, chicken wings, zangi (fried chicken), and motsunabe (offal hot pot). I usually only eat soy sauce, so I asked for miso this time. We started with some beer. The shiso cheese gyoza and shrimp gyoza are delicious with salt. The chicken wings are spicy and go well with beer. I wonder if chicken wings are famous in Kyushu? The horse sashimi looks beautiful with its fresh red meat and two different cuts. We layered the red meat and lean meat to enjoy together. There is no unpleasant smell, and the sweet soy sauce with ginger is perfect. Cheers with some highball! The miso soup in the motsunabe is slightly sweet, reminiscent of the taste of old-fashioned miso ramen from a diner. The cabbage and tofu in the soup complement the sweetness well. After enjoying the offal, we hesitated but decided to go for champon noodles as the finishing touch. It was a great choice, very delicious. Since Sapporo Station is an area I visit frequently, I'm happy to find such a unique izakaya like this one. Located at the south exit of Sapporo Station, next to the Tokyu Department Store, on the 2nd floor of the Seven building. Tonight, I'm in the mood for a lemon sour with ice. Of course, the perfect accompaniment is gyoza. The aim: Gyoza as an appetizer while waiting for the gyoza to cook. Sliced pork offal with yuzu ponzu sauce for a refreshing appetizer. The acidity and the umami of the meat stimulate the appetite, perfect for an appetizer! Also, we had Satsuma Chiran chicken sashimi, using fresh chicken from Kagoshima, with homemade ponzu sauce. The balance between the crispy skin and the tender meat is excellent, and it also goes well with salt and lemon. As for the gyoza, the era of eating gyoza with salt has arrived. Although there is sauce, the flavor is enhanced mysteriously when eaten with salt. The filling is very juicy and flavorful. We also had Kyushu black pork gyoza, filled with plenty of black pork. The luxurious gyoza made with a whole shrimp has a firm texture, and you can even see the shrimp tail. The combination of shiso and cheese in the gyoza is a hit with the ladies. I love cheese, so the cheese gyoza made me very happy. The rich flavor of shiso pairs perfectly with the cheese, making it delicious. We also had a platter of three types of fresh horse sashimi from Kumamoto. The fresh horse meat, air-shipped from the main production area, includes red meat, mane (tategami), and belly (futaego). I have actually eaten horse sashimi in its home region, and this one was the real deal. It's amazing that you can eat this in Sapporo. I would like to try the chicken wings and motsu nabe next time.

When it gets hot, my symptoms worsen, as I have a designated rare disease by the government. There is no cure for my rare disease yet, but temporary improvement can be achieved by administering "blood products" for 5 consecutive days. Last year, I was hospitalized 5 times for rare disease treatment. I was hospitalized for the second time this year on April 4th, but was discharged 61 days ago. I have made a reservation for my third hospitalization this year due to worsening health conditions. Your supportive comments are always a source of encouragement for me during hospital stays. I am truly grateful for your support. Moving forward, I plan to focus on reviewing past unreviewed content, as new visits will be limited based on my health condition. Since my reviewer debut on December 19, 2010, it has been over 11 years and 6 months. About 40% of this time, I have taken breaks due to health reasons. Through this review, I have reached 6100 reviews (excluding deletions). The first act ended with hospitalization shortly after my reviewer debut. The second act closed after a long hospitalization. The third act ended after about 2 and a half years. The fourth act began in November 2020 and I have been hospitalized 5 times in 2021 and have a reservation for the third hospitalization in 2022. In recent years, all milestone reviews have supported shops that employ people with disabilities who are working hard. The 5200th milestone review was for "Hokkaido Yakiniku Kitauo," a shop that focuses on high-quality Hokkaido ingredients. However, due to significant cuts in government subsidies and closures during the pandemic, reviewing has become challenging. Both supported employment shops and general restaurants are facing tough economic conditions. Last year, Sapporo City implemented the "Sapporo Commercial Group Sales Promotion Support Project Subsidy" to support struggling restaurants during the pandemic. As part of this initiative, a "Sapporo Restaurant Future Discussion Roundtable" was held at "Tertsina." Participants included a beautiful freelance announcer as the moderator, the chef representative of Tertsina, and staff from Sapporo 100 Miles.

After leaving the first visit to "Sapporo Zangi Honpo Sapporo Station North Exit Store" in June 2022, the guide took me to "Hakata Gyoza Sha 603 Sapporo Station Mae Store." This place seems to be a franchise store, and the name "603" in the store name comes from the famous Hakata Chinese restaurant "Nippon Romanza" that inspired the gyoza here. The course I had at Hakata Gyoza Sha 603 for 5,000 yen with all-you-can-drink included consisted of vinegar motsu, Satsuma Chiran chicken breast tataki, Kyushu black pork gyoza, whole shrimp chan gyoza & shiso cheese gyoza, fresh horse sashimi 3 types platter, two types of tebasaki (chicken wings), Hakata motsu nabe with Shiretoko black-haired wagyu beef (spicy curry motsu nabe, ultimate miso motsu nabe), and motsu simmered in vinegar to finish the hot pot. The Satsuma Chiran chicken breast tataki was made with fresh chicken from Kagoshima prefecture and had a crispy texture with homemade ponzu sauce enhancing the flavor. The Kyushu black pork gyoza was a round gyoza with wings attached, made with black pork that was raised with a special feed to eliminate any odor, resulting in a clean and delicious gyoza. The whole shrimp chan gyoza & shiso cheese gyoza were a mixed plate of gyoza with wings attached. The whole shrimp chan gyoza had a whole shrimp tail visible in the gyoza filling, and the shiso cheese gyoza had a rich flavor with a refreshing taste. The fresh horse sashimi platter included three types of horse meat from Kumamoto prefecture, which paired well with the sweet Kyushu soy sauce. The tebasaki (chicken wings) came in two flavors - soy sauce marinade and spicy spice, offering contrasting tastes. The Hakata motsu nabe made with Shiretoko black-haired wagyu beef was delicious, with tender beef motsu and a gentle fat that made it easy to enjoy. The hot pot was finished with champon noodles in a rich and flavorful soup that paired well with the noodles. There was also dessert, but we were all too full to try it. The course I had this time was a great way to enjoy the delicious food of Kyushu to the fullest, and sharing good food with a large group of people was the best part of the experience! Sapporo TR Building, 2nd floor, 2-chome, Kita 4-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido. A Kyushu izakaya located across from Esta, next to Kushi Tori. It is a franchise of a chain called Hakata Gyoza Sha, where the gyoza is directly delivered from there, while other menu items are developed and provided by the restaurant itself. On Saturdays at 5 pm, the place is packed with a younger crowd, and reservations are full. It seems to be a very popular restaurant. This time, we went for the 5000 yen course (with all-you-can-drink). Here are the dishes we tried: - Vinegar-miso hot pot with sliced pork guts and yuzu ponzu. The pork guts were fresh and well-prepared, without any unpleasant smell. - Satsuma Chiran chicken breast tataki with homemade ponzu. The chicken had a firm and satisfying texture, with no off-flavors. - Kyushu black pork gyoza made with pork raised on their own feed. The gyoza had a beautiful golden color, with a chewy and juicy filling. - Whole shrimp gyoza wrapped in gyoza filling. The shrimp gyoza was delicious, with a plump and flavorful texture. - Shiso cheese gyoza with a refreshing and addictive taste. The shiso flavor was aromatic and refreshing. - Fresh horse sashimi platter with three types of cuts. The horse sashimi was surprisingly high-quality, with no unpleasant smell. - Two types of chicken wing karaage (spicy and salt). The karaage was from a famous chicken wing restaurant in Sapporo, and it was devoured quickly by everyone. - Hakata motsunabe (spicy and miso). The motsunabe was made with high-quality ingredients, including Chishima black beef, and it was delicious. - Motsunabe rice porridge with melted cheese, and Hakata Chanpon noodles. The rice porridge was made with the leftover broth from the curry motsunabe, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. Overall, we were surprised to find that this gyoza restaurant also serves authentic Kyushu cuisine. The delicious food made the drinks flow easily, and we ended up having a great time getting tipsy at this place.

During the spring Sake event, we drank a lot from 12 o'clock onwards and then wanted to try the 21:00 curry at Kurami Tei. We used this place to adjust the timing. The owner of Kurami Tei and two other interesting people joined us for drinks. I don't remember much, but that's why alcohol is fun and hard to quit! It can be dangerous too. The plum crystal with a rounded acidity and vinegar tripe were delicious.
