Free of charge. Osaka City Central Wholesale Market
A sushi restaurant located within the Osaka Central Wholesale Market. You can eat fresh sushi as a matter of course! The best~! I went to the restaurant for lunch for the first time in over 10 years with excitement. This time, I ordered a set that was described as "for those who want to eat a variety of things" (laughs) which included 5 pieces of sushi, assorted tempura, and zaru soba with a generous portion. The sushi had large portions of rice and toppings, so even with just 5 pieces, I was quite satisfied. The tempura came with 2 large prawns, and they were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside (o^O^o). However, the zaru soba! It was just regular zaru soba, but the noodles were cut into short pieces and it was difficult to slurp them (´・ω・`). Were the dry noodles broken into pieces when they were boiled? Or did they break while they were being cooked? I wasn't expecting high-quality soba at a sushi restaurant, but it was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a satisfying meal at Hanamaru♪ and I left the restaurant feeling full and content (o^O^o). The lunch was also cost-effective, so I would like to go back again.

I had lunch at Tachibana on the 16th floor of Osaka Central Wholesale Market. I visited at 12:30 pm and there was no wait. I ordered the Fish Market Set Meal for 1,590 yen. It was a generous portion and very delicious. The view from the window was also amazing. It may take some courage for the general public to enter, but it is a recommended spot.

It was completely different from before! The person who made the sushi was great! When I asked to change my order to nigiri right after placing it, the staff said they might have already started making it. I went directly to the counter to ask, and the chef kindly confirmed that they hadn't started yet. Even though I had requested wasabi on the side for my four children, I had to go to the counter to get it myself. The fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, and sea bream were all delicious! The appearance of the sea eel nigiri was different from the menu photo, but it was still soft and tasty. The wait between orders was quite long due to having only one chef. When I ordered wasabi on the side for one table and with wasabi for another, the mix-up occurred, and the wasabi ended up on the table with children.

A seafood restaurant located inside the Osaka Central Wholesale Market, a short walk from Noda Station on the Osaka Loop Line. It is on the 16th floor of a building in the market, offering a beautiful night view. I went there with my colleagues on a business trip to Osaka. We enjoyed a sashimi platter, pickled mackerel, and dashimaki tamago with mentaiko. The fried clams were surprisingly delicious. We finished our meal with fin sake. The bill was reasonable, and we left satisfied with our dinner experience.

The shrimp tempura rice bowl for 990 yen was delicious with large, juicy shrimp and plenty of vegetables. It would have been even better if there was a bit more sauce on the rice. There were two crumpled origami cranes on the corner of the counter, please fix them.

This restaurant is located in a building inside the Osaka Central Wholesale Market, but being on an upper floor makes it difficult to feel the market atmosphere. I ordered the Fish Market Special Set, which includes a variety of sashimi, grilled fish, simmered fish, tempura, and more. As you can see in the photos, the variety and portion sizes are impressive. Everything was delicious and the cost performance was great, so I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited a friend who works at the central market for lunch. It was a bit nerve-wracking as it was a place I don't often go to. The blinds were broken, letting in the hot sunlight. The tables were spacious with a counter as well. We all ordered the same set meal - the Fish Market Set Meal for 1290 yen. It was described as having simmered fish, but there was hardly any meat on the bones to eat, which was disappointing. The sea urchin on squid was also mediocre.

It was too crowded at Wando, so I evacuated to Tachibana. You can relax and have coffee on the 16th floor, and enjoy a calm meal. It's an office building, but anyone can use it. There are many menu options to choose from. The top floor offers the best night view of Osaka's Nakanoshima. It's spacious and has a great view.

For the February monthly project, I will be running two series almost simultaneously: "GoTo government cafeteria" and "2022 500 yen lunch." These two can also be used interchangeably, as seen in the case of the elusive? 650 yen pork sauté set meal at the 13th floor of the Hyogo Prefectural Office, known as "Prefectural Office Cafeteria Heart Su." Of course, there will also be more Tokyo-related content coming up. "GoTo government cafeteria" will focus on government cafeterias, city halls, and hospital cafeterias, as well as student cafeterias. It will be a broad project that seems easy for anyone to do but is actually quite challenging, typical of my style. This will be the first time since November's monthly project, "Seafood 20 Match," which focused on seafood bowls, that I will be doing something like this. This time, I will be visiting 10 restaurants for the "2022 Seafood Bowl 10 Match - Part 4." This review is about "Tachibana Osaka Central Wholesale Market" on the 15th floor of the Business Management Building of the Osaka Central Wholesale Market (Osaka, Noda). I ordered the daily seafood bowl for 1290 yen.

I had lunch here around noon. I had a sushi and tempura set meal (I forgot the exact price, but it was around 1700 yen). It's a bit on the pricey side, but the view of Osaka city from the 16th floor is amazing. Both the sushi and tempura were delicious. They also have lunch options for under 1000 yen (including tax). It's a bit challenging to drive into the market area, but the restaurant is recommended. The parking situation is a bit confusing, but there are plenty of parking spots within the market.

I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and decided to visit the Osaka Central Wholesale Market today. It is the largest market in Osaka, but it was quiet when I arrived around 2:30 PM. Perhaps it's a place that is far from reach for someone like me who wakes up late in the morning. I came to a sushi and seafood restaurant on the 16th floor of the management building for a light lunch. The restaurant was at the end of a dim hallway, with no other customers besides me. I ordered the sashimi set meal for 990 yen (tax included). The view of the Kyocera Dome and the city of Osaka from the restaurant was amazing. The sashimi set meal looked more delicious in the menu photo... The tuna was a bit watery, but the chewy squid was tasty. I wonder if this restaurant is frequented by people working in the market? The price and the food both felt mediocre. Most of the dining areas in the market close around 2 PM. Next time, I will try to come a bit earlier.

I visited Tachibana on the 16th floor of the business management building at the Osaka Central Wholesale Market after a long time. Firstly, I had to exchange the teacup as there was a defect. I was already feeling blue. The set meal I ordered was disappointing. The grilled fish turned out to be sliced true mackerel, with just a small piece of the tail. I wondered if there was a mistake, but everyone else also had mackerel with the tail piece. It was dry and not tasty. The simmered dish was fish head, which was difficult to eat for lunch and didn't taste good. Did the chef change? I understand times are tough due to COVID, but they didn't even replace the tea until I asked.

It turns out that it is part of the Tachibana group. I didn't realize until I went there because it's located in the central wholesale market. And since I had accumulated GOTO points, I was able to enjoy a discounted fugu course. The night view is beautiful and because it's located deep in the market, it's not too crowded and you can enjoy a peaceful meal. There are also plenty of lunch options, so I would like to go again.

I visited a sushi restaurant on the top floor of the Osaka Central Wholesale Market Business Management Building during lunchtime. While the market usually offers tours to help visitors understand its operations, these have been suspended until the end of November due to COVID-19. The view from the 16th floor of the building overlooks the Asajigawa River and the surrounding area. The lunch menu had a variety of options, and I ordered the grilled fish set meal. A large, freshly grilled mackerel was served, with its rich flavor and texture. The simmered dried daikon radish side dish was a nice complement to the meal. The restaurant is located at 1-1-86 Noda, Fukushima-ku, Osaka City, on the 16th floor of the Osaka Central Wholesale Market Business Management Building.

I went to Fukushima for lunch with the children. I had been curious about the seafood bowl for a while, but hadn't had the chance to go until now. I parked the car in the front of the Central Wholesale Market, but the restaurant is in the back, so it's better to go all the way to the back. The restaurant was full on Saturday afternoon, but the wait was almost non-existent. The seafood and sushi menu was extensive and delicious. I heard the night view is beautiful, so I would like to come back in the evening next time.

On a Sunday morning, I stopped by the central wholesale market on my way to run errands, thinking of having some seafood. Unfortunately, the market was closed and all the restaurants were shut as well. Luckily, a passerby mentioned that there is a restaurant open on the 16th floor. I arrived just in time for the opening hours and ordered a sashimi set for lunch. The fish was delicious, especially the fatty tuna. The rice was free for seconds, so even men can eat to their heart's content. The view was cloudy due to the rainy weather, but I imagine it would be even more beautiful on a sunny day or at night. The menu had many more delicious fish and sushi options, so I would love to visit again, perhaps for dinner next time.

This is a shop located inside the Osaka Central Wholesale Market. My family often stops by before heading back home for Obon. We sit by the window in the market's office building, overlooking the city of Osaka, which feels great. They offer a variety of lunch options, from affordable to luxurious seafood dishes, so everyone can choose their favorite. The tuna bowl was delicious. It's convenient to park your car inside the market. Thank you for the meal!

I visit this restaurant a few times a year. Usually on weekend evenings, but this time I went on a weekday evening with my daughter (without a reservation). There were no other customers when we arrived. The staff at the restaurant has changed quite a bit, and I wonder what happened to the head chef. The best thing about this place is the great view. The sushi was just average. The menu has also gotten smaller compared to before. Overall, it was a decent meal.———————————————————————The words that were left unspoken are carried by the seasons, drifting beyond time. June is painted in blue, saturating everything.♫ (Rainy Station)

I had lunch on a national holiday... The front entrance was closed so I didn't know how to get in, I had to call them... There is another entrance at the back... I remember visiting a sushi restaurant a long time ago and it was delicious. The view from the top was nice. I took the elevator to the 16th floor and was seated at the counter facing away from the window. I ordered the fish market set meal, but it didn't meet my expectations. The rice and miso soup were refillable, which was nice, but I didn't ask for more. The miso soup had fish bones in it, which was okay, but I wish it had seaweed and tofu instead. The rice also didn't taste like the rice you would get at a sushi restaurant.

I went near the market, so I had market food~♡ They had a variety of dishes like tempura, simmered fish, sashimi set meals, and nigiri sushi. I couldn't decide what to order, but I ended up choosing the classic seafood bowl! It was delicious with plenty of fresh seafood toppings. I'm full now. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for a dinner party at night. It is spacious so you can enjoy your meal without feeling crowded. All the menu items use fresh seafood, so you can't go wrong. (12/16/2022) The 90-minute last order rule in the 120-minute time limit is strictly enforced. Long banquets are not possible.
