I usually eat udon a lot, but today I felt like having ramen, so I went to Katsuryuken. It was actually my first time having ramen alone! About 90% of the seats were taken, so I sat at the counter. I ordered the ramen (650 yen tax included), which was light and refreshing. The noodles were a bit firmer than I expected. The sesame aroma was nice, and the chashu had no unpleasant smell. I added grated garlic and pickled ginger from the counter to change the flavor halfway through. It was a delicious meal!

I visited Ramen Katsuryuken in Onga Town after a long time. I ordered ramen and kashiwa onigiri. The kashiwa onigiri and ramen here are excellent. The ramen is Nagahama ramen with thin noodles. The soup is a light pork bone-based soup. Delicious!

The ramen had a slightly lacking flavor, but I was able to customize it with spicy miso and garlic to make it delicious. The fried rice had a rich flavor and was absolutely delicious! It's the perfect accompaniment to the ramen! You can park about 5 cars in front of the store. If you're in Onga, I recommend visiting this ramen shop!

In Fukuoka, I tried the Shoryuken ramen at Ramen Shoryuken near Enokoga Yume Town. The popular okonomiyaki restaurant, Pipur, was fully booked. I had been curious about Ramen Shoryuken for a while, so I decided to go there. Luckily, I found a parking spot in front of the restaurant for about four cars. It was a Saturday, but I was able to enter the restaurant without any issues. The ramen costs 600 yen, and you can add 6 gyoza and rice for an additional 300 yen (tax included). I opted for extra noodles for 50 yen and added some menma for 100 yen. The ramen arrived promptly, and I got the large portion with extra menma for a total of 750 yen. It came with three thick slices of chashu, kikurage mushrooms, and green onions. The bowl was a bit small for the large portion, but the noodles were hot. The soup was light with minimal aftertaste. It would have been better if the soup was a bit hotter, but since there were no options for extra noodles, it was understandable. I enjoyed the menma and the thick chashu slices. I quickly finished my meal as I was in a hurry. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Visited on Tuesday after 7:00 PM. There was a sign at the entrance saying "From 12/23 (Fri) to 1/15 (Sun), one free extra noodle refill!" There were about 6 customers ahead of me. The ramen and fried rice were served in about 3 minutes. The broth was light but had a strong pork bone flavor. The noodles were thin and chewy. Toppings included chashu, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and sesame seeds. The chashu was well-seasoned and had a good amount of fat. The fried rice, although pale in color, had diced chashu in it and was flavorful. I decided to order an extra noodle refill for free. The noodles were a bit firmer than the first serving, which I preferred. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I had the ramen with boiled egg and topped with "Niku Karai" in the center! The egg and chashu were both delicious with the flavors soaked in. The "Niku Karai" was spicier than I expected, adding a bit of a tantanmen-like taste, but still tasty! It might be just right for those who love spicy food, but maybe a bit lacking for some. I found it enjoyable to first take a few bites without mixing in the "Niku Karai" and then spreading it out later.(*^_^*)

At night, I came to a ramen shop where you can drink and eat until closing time. Last time I came here, I didn't take any photos because I was drinking and left, so this time I'm getting my revenge! When I came last time, they had a menu with items like yakitori, but it seems like they opened a neighboring izakaya and now the food is served from there. Unfortunately, the izakaya was closed on the day I went, so I couldn't order anything. But if it's open, you can order from there and they'll bring it to you. First, I ordered gyoza and karaage as snacks with my drink. The gyoza was a bit on the larger side and had a homemade feel to it with the wings attached. The karaage was freshly fried and piping hot, so be careful not to burn yourself while eating. The taste was light and the texture was crispy like karaage. For my main dish, I had ramen with a light soup, and I finished it in no time. I couldn't resist getting a refill of noodles... I hope to come back next time when I can try the yakitori.

It's so good you'll want to ask for seconds of rice. This place is full of charm. I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the feast!

Today, my wife and I visited this restaurant. It was 2:40 pm. The interior had an L-shaped counter and tatami seating. As soon as we entered, there was a male waiter who seemed a bit off. We ordered ramen for 600 yen, champon for 750 yen, and half portion of fried rice for 250 yen. [Food Review] Ramen: Lots of green onions and sesame seeds. The soup was average, more on the lighter side. The chashu was tender and I liked it. The noodles were thin. Fried Rice: Delicious and flavorful, my favorite type. Champon: The soup was rich, with plenty of ingredients like shrimp and pork. [Overall] The food was delicious, especially the fried rice and champon. However, the attitude of one of the staff members was a bit arrogant. Probably not the owner, but thank you for the meal.

I suddenly had a craving for ramen and decided to stop by Katsuryuken in Onga Town on my way home. It is located right near the Matsunomoto intersection, with a dry cleaner and a Family Mart nearby. This ramen shop has been around for a long time, and recently a new branch called Katsuryuken II opened next door, which serves fried chicken set meals and champon. I haven't been there yet, but I'm interested to try it sometime. The original Katsuryuken mainly serves ramen during the day, but they start serving champon after 1 pm. They also offer yakitori in the evening. When I ordered, I went for the chashu ramen, which cost 750 yen. The ramen is Nagahama style, which is tonkotsu-based but on the lighter side. The noodles can be refilled, and sometimes the first refill is free depending on the season. This time, it wasn't free so I didn't get a refill. The chashu was satisfying, and the noodles were easy to eat. It may feel slightly lacking in portion, but the taste is decent. They provide a special sauce on the table that you can add to enhance the richness of the broth. Compared to chain ramen shops, the price here is reasonable. The atmosphere is average, but the food is good, so I would definitely consider coming back again.

The other day, on my way home from work, I stumbled upon a ramen shop called "Ramen Shoryuken"! Ramen shops with names like dragon or house usually serve delicious food, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has 6 counter seats and tatami seating on both sides. It seems like a place where you can have a small party, with alcoholic drinks available. I sat at the counter and ordered the Spicy Meat Ramen for 700 yen. Although it's labeled as Nagahama Ramen, it has thin noodles like somen noodles! The slightly light soup with a bit of spiciness and the meat were just right. The soup and thin noodles complement each other well, so I ordered two extra servings of noodles. The total came to 800 yen, which surprised me, but when I looked closer, there was a sign saying free extra noodles campaign. It's a great deal for those who want to enjoy ramen at a good price.

I ordered ramen for 600 yen and half fried rice for 250 yen. The ramen and soup pair well together. The chashu pork slices are thick and very delicious. The ramen has a sesame flavor and includes mushrooms, it's not too rich but has a depth of flavor that I enjoyed. The half fried rice was a bit too sticky, which was disappointing.

Lunch is good value for money. Tastes like homemade fried rice.

Today is another day of ramen training. Not today, but recently there has been an increase in light and odorless ramen, but this place has quite a strong flavor. It's a compliment! A strong flavor is essential for a rich taste. I recommend it. It's part of the series that is often compared to unreliable **, but it feels like Muratei. I hope it resonates with fans of Muratei.

It's a shame that the delicious Champon, which is not too strong in smell and light in taste, is only available from 1 pm.

I occasionally go there. I like champon, so when I go, I usually order champon. I love tropical fish, so I find comfort in the tropical fish inside the restaurant. There are quite a few manga available, so it's recommended for those who want to relax and read manga. It seems to be a family-run business, and the lady is always very beautiful.
