I had been really curious about this restaurant for a while. So it's related to Alshon, huh? The menu is quite similar too. I made a reservation just in case. I arrived a bit early, so I decided to wait in the room next to the restaurant. It was past 1 p.m. but the place was fully booked. I heard customers coming in one after another, and they mentioned there were 6 groups waiting, so making a reservation was the right choice. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was called to my table. The menu... it's hard to decide (laughs). I can't skip the galette and crepe, so I chose the Chandelier course. It includes soup, choice of galette, choice of crepe, and a drink for 1680 yen. I wish it came with a salad too. - Soup: Today it was pumpkin soup. It was light but there was a lot of it. I got a bit tired of it, so I added some pepper and drank it (laughs). - Galette: "Il Neige" The dough was a bit moist? I prefer it to be a bit crispier (the edges were a bit crispy). When I cut into it... huh? There was scrambled eggs in it, it wasn't mentioned on the menu but I chose it anyway. It's fine since I don't have allergies, but I'm not a big fan of these eggs. The filling included carrots, potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms in cream sauce, roast ham, and Camembert. The taste was rich and delicious. I was already quite full at this point. - Crepe: "Persimmon and Red Bean with Cinnamon Flavor, with Yuzu Blancmange and Mochi Crepe" and a drink. First, the drink arrived. I chose cafe au lait, but it came in a mug! After trying it... if I come back, I'll just go for regular coffee or tea... The crepe seemed quite big. First, I tried the dough. It was delicious! The persimmon was surprisingly raw and a bit firm. I think I prefer it a bit softer. The red beans were large. And there was matcha ice cream. Enjoying the red beans and matcha with the crepe made me happy. The yuzu blancmange was a nice touch to balance the sweetness. I chose it, but I'm not a big fan of mochi (laughs). I left some of the parts with a lot of mochi. Comparing it to Alshon is probably not a good idea, but Chandelier seems to have larger portions (maybe it was just today). The menu is similar, but the flavors and everything seem different. Well, both restaurants are delicious. It's just sad that they are both far from my home (laughs). Especially Chandelier. I was quite full, so I decided to walk back to Tenma, but I ended up getting lost and arrived at Temmabashi 6-chome (laughs).

2014/02/11 Revisit: I came back because I thought the crepe here was delicious. Of course, I made a reservation. It takes over an hour to get here from my house... When I opened the door to enter the restaurant, I was surprised by the person who greeted me with "Welcome." It really is related to Alshon (even though I couldn't use my loyalty card). I came thinking of the 1680 yen option where you can choose a galette and crepe, but I checked the menu just in case. There was a 1380 yen option for today's galette and crepe, it seemed like a good deal with salad included, but I ended up choosing the 1680 yen one. - Soup: Today it was cauliflower soup. It was more enjoyable and tasty than before. - Choice of Galette: Fluidemail This time, I made sure it didn't have scrambled eggs inside. It had seafood with tomato cream and warm vegetables. Shrimp, mussels, octopus (a bit tough), daikon, carrots, cabbage, and more in cream sauce. The galette was still flavorful, but I wish it was a bit crisper. - Choice of Crepe: Baked Chocolate Apple Whole Oven-Baked Crepe It was big! The dough was still delicious! The thin parts were crispy, and the thicker parts were just delightful (laughs). The apple had a tangy flavor. It worked well with the sweetness of the baked chocolate. On top, there was ice cream and chantilly. I guess you're supposed to eat the dough and toppings together, but I prefer them separately.
