Osaka's southernmost countryside, Kawachinagano, has a Uotami restaurant in front of the station. It's open until 28:00, while other shops close at 22:00 or 23:00, making it the only place where you can drink after being kicked out. You can order food using a remote control-like device on the table without having to call the staff every time. This is very convenient, and it even shows the current bill and how much each person should pay for splitting the bill. The variety of dishes and drinks is extensive, and the service is fast, as expected from a chain restaurant. However, there is one major complaint: they sometimes kick you out after 2 hours, even if it's not a set course meal. If you reserve from 21:00 to 23:00, they ask you to leave at 23:00, even if there are no reservations afterward. It's frustrating. If it weren't for this, it would be a great restaurant.
I used it with local friends. I made a reservation for 19:30 and arrived 10 minutes early. After waiting for 10 minutes and mentioning the reservation name, they said, "The previous customers haven't left yet, so there are no available seats." I waited for another 30 minutes sitting at an available seat, without even being offered a glass of water or any update on the wait. I tried to call the staff by repeatedly pressing the bell, but they completely ignored it for 5 minutes. I had to search for the manager, but couldn't find who it was. I even tried calling the headquarters, but couldn't get through. Eventually, a female staff member apologized for the long wait, and we started the party 40 minutes late. However, the beer was foamy, the ordered items took a long time to arrive, and when I called the staff to complain, they were rude. Only when I became assertive did they provide proper service. After 2 hours, a staff member came and said, "It's time to leave." I was fed up and told them to leave me alone. I complained a lot and left feeling extremely upset. I will never go to this restaurant again.
