HUB Fukuoka PayPay Dome store. The Hawks vs. Lotte game where you could get a uniform turned out to be a disaster. The beer was good, but the fried food was heavy on the stomach. Edamame was the highlight. The staff provided excellent service.

I was really interested in sports bars and finally got the chance to go. I decided to go last minute and the tickets for the seats I wanted were sold out, so I ended up here. I was able to see the atmosphere of the dome through the glass, enjoyed delicious food and left feeling very satisfied. I also had a fun conversation with the couple next to me about the Hawks! Thank you for the meal!

The Hawks won! I was drinking moderately during the game, but I wanted to bask in the afterglow of victory so I went to HUB. I continued drinking while watching the post-game maintenance. And it seemed like the prices were a bit cheaper. Maybe because they won? I always liked HUB but it was especially good this time. The view was nice. Thank you for the meal.

After watching a professional baseball game, I enjoyed a G&T and a half-size Margherita pizza while observing the ground maintenance and seat cleaning. The amount of alcohol was generous and the pizza was quite good. It was satisfying for the price. More customers arrived after us, and the counter was almost full. There were also outlets available, so I charged my phone while eating and drinking.

According to information, you could also purchase from inside the stadium (there was a takeout window), but I wasn't sure about it (;^_^A As I tried to enter the entrance, the staff guided me to have my temperature checked and sanitize my hands before entering. The store space is where the former "Sadaharu Oh Baseball Museum" was located (probably...). The Sadaharu Oh BM has apparently been relocated to a new facility next to the dome called E-ZO FUKUOKA. There are attractions like a very long slide called "SuberZO," HKT48 theater, Yoshimoto Kogyo theater, and a food hall, but I had to skip it this time due to time constraints (maybe next year, haha). Now, about HUB, as you know, it's a pub modeled after British style. The atmosphere in this store is spot on. I proceeded to the counter in the middle of the store and placed my order for cash.■ KIRIN Ichiban Shibori 1 PINT 740 yen (tax included)■ Half Margherita Pizza 450 yen (tax included)I wanted to try the HUB Ale, their original beer, but it was already sold out (;∀;) So, I went with the familiar KIRIN. For a side, I ordered a half Margherita Pizza. I received the beer first, and the pizza was brought to my table by the staff later. I wasn't expecting much, thinking it might be microwaved, but it was a genuine pizza with a crispy crust. It was delicious enough to forgive any shortcomings. They served Habanero sauce instead of Tabasco, which is said to be about 10 times spicier, but it wasn't that intense (￣▽￣;)ﾊｯﾊｯﾊ My order was a bit lacking, I regret that (reflecting). As time passed, more customers started coming in. It's nice to have a genuine pub environment where you can drink even after the game ends (^^♪ Being a visitor, it feels awkward to go to the Hawks' official bar, right? Haha. HUB Fukuoka PayPay Dome store. Two of us visited for the first time at 1:00 PM for the Softbank Hawks vs Hanshin Tigers exhibition game starting at 2:00 PM. As a measure against the new coronavirus infection, disinfectant was provided, acrylic boards were placed between counter seats, and vinyl was installed between the kitchen and dining area. The Hawks lost 3:1, but it was an interesting experience. The cost was 5,000 yen per person, including 6 light snacks and a 2,000 yen voucher for the counter bar baseball viewing. We also enjoyed a glass of beer that cannot be consumed inside the dome. Thank you very much. Maybe we'll visit again during an official game next time?

I was traveling in Fukuoka and watched the CS Final Stage Game 1 at the sports bar "HUB" inside the Yahoo Dome. The bar offers a great view of the dome's field. Even though the game was at the MetLife Dome this time, it's still exciting when there's a game at the Yahoo Dome. I enjoyed watching the game while having Guinness beer and Doritos. The Guinness beer was creamy and delicious, and they even topped it up twice. The Doritos were crispy and not greasy, so my hands stayed clean. It was a very enjoyable and lively experience.

I reserved a special sports viewing pack (￥3000/person) in advance to watch the climax series. The pack includes a seat with a view of the field, 1000 yen worth of light snacks, 500 yen x 4 food and drink vouchers, and a Takapoint subsidy ticket worth 150 points. I was lucky to get a window counter seat, which provides a great view of the field. With binoculars, you can watch the game from a TV-like angle. The light snacks included popcorn, edamame, Ebis Stick spring rolls, and HUB pasty. The edamame looked small at first, but they were surprisingly filling due to their large size. The popcorn had a savory sakura shrimp flavor. The Ebis Stick spring rolls had a thick skin with plump shrimp inside, served with a mayo-based dip. The HUB pasty had a moist pastry filled with minced meat and potatoes, complemented well by the Lea & Perrins sauce. Overall, the sports bar gourmet experience was satisfying. However, the staff seemed unaware of the menu items, causing confusion during ordering. The 500 yen vouchers were enough to cover food and drink orders. The seat provided a clear view of the game, personal space, and easy access to restrooms, making it a comfortable viewing experience. The chairs were also comfortable, reducing fatigue. I will definitely come back again.

Location: Inside the Yahoo Dome in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City [HUB Fukuoka Yahoo Dome Store]. I went there wanting to watch baseball from the glass counter seats. I splurged a bit with a course that includes seat fee, costing 3000 yen per person (bitter smile). The breakdown is as follows: the glass counter seat fee, a starter of edamame, potato chips, and what seemed like a meat pie or shrimp spring roll (3 items) for 2000 yen worth of 4 food vouchers. The vouchers are valid for one month. As of today, drinks are not included initially, so I used one voucher for oolong tea and another for fried chicken and potatoes. Just to note, the cheapest ticket on this day was 1200 yen for standing room only, but you have to line up according to the opening time. It can get hot in the stands... Despite finding various ways to watch the game cheaply, spending around 2000 yen felt worth it for me, especially when alone or on weekends and holidays without a ticket. The store has a smoking room and restroom facilities, and the fried dishes were served piping hot. The portions were quite generous. Personally, I felt the drinks were a bit pricey... I might go again, especially during the upcoming season when watching with air conditioning, or when tickets are unavailable.

I love "HUB". It has a cheap British pub vibe, is easy to use, and you can drink whiskey at a reasonable price, which I like. However, there was no "HUB" in Kyushu for a long time. Originally, the founder of Daiei established "HUB" as a subsidiary of Daiei with 100% capital, but I was disappointed that they did not open a store in Fukuoka, despite being closely connected to Fukuoka by buying a baseball team and building a dome. I had been waiting, probably for about 20 years, thinking "I wonder if 'HUB' will open in Fukuoka someday," while gradually giving up. During that time, I could only use "HUB" in Tokyo and Osaka. Finally, in April 2019, I saw the news that "HUB" was opening in Fukuoka. I was deeply moved, but when I found out that the location was at the "Yafuoku Dome," I was disappointed. I prefer it to be in the city where I can casually drop by. However, I decided to go all the way to the dome. To visit the first "HUB" in Kyushu. On that day, a baseball game was being held, and when I arrived at the dome, there were many spectators. I made my way through them and looked for "HUB," and found the entrance facing the outer perimeter of the dome. I asked the staff standing in front of the escalator leading to the entrance if I could enter "HUB" without a baseball ticket. It seemed that there was an area in the store where you could watch the stadium's game, and I was told that you couldn't enter without a baseball ticket, but I have no interest in baseball. In the end, I confirmed that I could enter "HUB" even without a baseball ticket. The staff at the entrance welcomed me with a smile. I was asked if I had a reservation, but it was quite empty. I guess many customers make reservations to use the store. The interior of the store was quite spacious. The decor was like, yes, "HUB." There were many monitors, and usually at "HUB" they show soccer game footage, but here they were showing baseball game footage. Well, that's understandable since it's a store in a baseball dome. I finished my half pint of HUB Ale and left the store promptly. Unfortunately, this store was non-smoking. When I asked the staff if smoking was allowed before entering the store, I was told it was non-smoking, but I just wanted to use the first "HUB" in Kyushu and decided to enter with the intention of a short stay in advance. Why is "HUB" non-smoking? One of the good things about "HUB" is that you can drink cheap whiskey while smoking... but I guess it's complicated when opening in a commercial facility, and I decided to think that way. Besides, well, I heard that pubs in the UK are non-smoking too. So, the first "HUB" in Kyushu did not make me feel tearfully moved by opening. I'll continue to use "HUB" in Tokyo and Osaka in the future.

I visited the restaurant after the baseball game (Takagirl Day). I was worried that it would be crowded because it was featured on a local TV show, but surprisingly it was not busy and I could easily use it even by myself. I was seated by the staff, then I ordered and paid at the cashier, received my drink, and the food was served as soon as it was ready. I ordered a ginger ale for my drink because I wanted something fizzy. For food, I ordered the "British pub" style Fish & Chips (half size) and Anchovy Cabbage. I thought Takapoints were unrelated, but I actually received 25 points for every 500 yen spent. This was a pleasant surprise! What made me even happier was that the food and drinks were delicious and had generous portions for the price! I always thought that food and drinks at event venues like stadiums would be "expensive" and "small in portion," but here, I felt that the prices and portions were comparable to regular restaurants in town. Plus, if you visit after a baseball game, you can enjoy the happy hour deal (details on the official website), making the drinks even more affordable. The restaurant had monitors placed around, and when I visited, they were replaying the just-ended game (a winning game). The place is new and clean, and I hope more people will come to know about it!

The fish and chips are delicious! It's great that you can enjoy a meal and beer while watching the game leisurely, and the fact that the restroom is nearby is very convenient.

Finally, it has opened in Kyushu. The consistent deliciousness, great atmosphere, and excellent service from the staff. Of course, the beer is great, but the kebab is also delicious! I couldn't be happier!

You can enter the Fukuoka PayPay Dome from outside and drink at the shop inside (just like a regular HUB). During baseball games, you can also purchase some alcohol and simple snacks inside the dome. This time, I bought a draft beer inside the dome. The shop is located towards the center rear, and I enjoyed watching the game while drinking beer at the standing area nearby. Beer is definitely the way to go for baseball watching!
