I had soft serve ice cream at a popular cake shop in Asahikawa. They have regular milk soft serve which is delicious, but they also offer milk tea and mango passion flavors. Today, I chose the milk tea & milk mixed soft serve. It was so delicious that I wanted to have another one! They have seating inside the shop so you can enjoy your dessert there. In addition to soft serve, they also have shaved ice, shakes, and gelato. Even though it's getting cooler, I still want to go back for some cold dessert.

The pistachio soft serve costs 450 yen (including tax). It has a strong pistachio flavor. It's a taste that might make your nose bleed (laughs). It's not bad, but honestly, I regret that I should have chosen vanilla instead~^_^

I'm from Hokkaido but I didn't know about this shop. I received Angel Donuts as a souvenir from a colleague. It has 300kcal per piece, which is quite high in calories, but each piece is big and satisfying to eat. Personally, I wish it was a bit more moist. I would like to try the popular No.1 product here, the sincere cream puff.

On November 2021, my wife received her second vaccine shot. To be prepared in case she feels unwell, we decided to visit her parents in Obihiro. As a useless husband (haha), I decided to buy some souvenirs from "Patisserie Fuu!!" since they will be looking after my wife and our mischievous 3-year-old. Even though there may not be any returns, I'll still bring some gifts along. Our son Taro is eagerly looking forward to visiting his grandparents' house, saying "Are we there yet?" with excitement. I purchased two glass shortcakes and two Mont Blanc cakes from Fuu!! for our visit. The Mont Blanc cake cost 520 yen each. Now, for a taste test. Wow! The elegant sweetness and chestnut flavor are absolutely wonderful. The moist cake is also delicious. The chestnut is not only on top but also inside, providing a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. I highly recommend trying this Mont Blanc cake!

Many people believe that cakes are a must-have at events. Even for Halloween, cakes are a popular choice. I have been visiting this shop since it was much smaller. Their cute character logo reflects the deliciousness of their cakes. The shop is nicely decorated for Halloween, which adds to the atmosphere. I wish the staff would take photos of the decorations they put up. My family bought a lot of cakes, and I tried the Maritozzo and pumpkin pudding. The Maritozzo is so cute that it almost feels like a shame to eat it. But it's delicious with plenty of cream. The pumpkin pudding has a strong pumpkin flavor and is delicious. There are so many varieties to choose from, it's a paradise for those who love sweets!

I went to Higashi-Ko Sports Park with Taro in September 2021. Higashi-Ko Sports Park is a sports park located along the Chubetsu River in the eastern part of Asahikawa City. It is a total of approximately 43.8 hectares in size and aims to provide sports facilities, spaces for health and physical fitness, and community facilities for relaxation and interaction. There are plenty of play equipment for children to enjoy, but Taro is only 2 years old, so parents have to accompany them, which can be exhausting. On the way back from Higashi-Ko Sports Park, we stopped by the popular pastry shop "Patisserie Fou!!". I couldn't resist the temptation of the limited-time Maritocco (Shine Muscat) for 420 yen (tax included). It's a sweet treat made with brioche dough and cream, with slices of Shine Muscat inside. The cream is light and fluffy, and the taste is excellent, but one piece is quite filling (laughs).

The parking lot is spacious, with customers coming in non-stop. They offer a variety of baked goods, confections, and drinks. Although it seems like they are not currently offering dine-in options, you can still enjoy their menu items through takeout. Since it was summer and I didn't want anything that wouldn't hold up well while being carried around, I decided to get a 1mm Mont Blanc to go. During payment, they asked, "Do you want it as a soft serve?" I found out that the Mont Blanc soft serve is 750 yen, while the one with sponge cake instead of soft serve is 800 yen. Because it was hot, I chose the soft serve option. When the Mont Blanc came out after a short wait, I felt like it could have been a bit thicker. I couldn't really taste the chestnut flavor much. Next time, I want to try their confections.

"Patisserie Fuu" - Fuu, it kind of relaxes you, doesn't it? Yesterday I played golf, my best performance of the season so far. I came to Asahikawa to lift my spirits a bit after my last terrible game. My notes say it's a cake shop called Fuu. When I arrived, it seemed like a really impressive cake shop, with a large parking lot full of cars and a bustling interior. There were plenty of baked goods to choose from. When I started looking at the cakes, the staff said, "Let us know when you've decided." I couldn't miss this opportunity. I chose the "Fuu Roll" for 970 yen. Even with a cooling pack, it was the same price. Despite the crowd, I was able to enter and leave in just 5 minutes - lucky me. There was no time to waste in making my selection. The cake was divided into four slices and had a firm, moist sponge. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was impressive without being overly flashy or trying too hard to be special. It was just really good. The sweetness was subtle but just right. It's a popular place for a reason - it's truly amazing.

I had a milk soft serve at "Patisserie Fou!!" located at 1-45 Higashi Hikari 17-jo, Asahikawa City (costing 300 yen). They had a fluffy and trendy way of serving it. The cone was regular, but you could also get a waffle cone for an additional 40 yen. "Patisserie Fou!!" moved to a new building and reopened last year in 2019. The store used to be popular before, but it seems they have expanded now. I visited the previous location once about 10 years ago. The store offers a variety of cakes, baked goods, and even has seating for dining in. They also have several soft serve flavors like pistachio, royal milk tea, banana, and pudding. They offer takeout options like coffee, cafe latte, cocoa, and shakes as well. The milk soft serve I had melted quickly in the heat, but it was delicious and not too overwhelming. Occasionally, I'll talk about sweets♪ I went to buy eggs and thought about getting a cake on the way, but then I remembered... and headed to the vending machine in the corner of this parking lot! I wasn't going to buy a soft drink, haha. There's a snack vending machine here! ◆B Chocolate Crunch 400 yen (tax included) It's a bottled baked chocolate crunch. I bought the bitter flavor out of the three available. It's sweeter than I thought (^-^; There are 6 small, thin pieces in one pack. It's good for a small gift, and you can even buy it after the store has closed. The chocolate is in a bag, and if you bring back the empty bottle to the store, they will exchange it for one cookie♪ Choose from 8 different types and bring the empty bottle to the register!

This is the smooth pudding from Patisserie Fu. When you open it, there is a smooth cream on top and underneath is a smooth pudding. It is very light and delicious. At the bottom of the jar, there is caramel with a nice bitterness that pairs well with the smooth pudding.

I visited the sweets shop "Patisserie Fuu" in Asahikawa City for the first time. I purchased four items: "Fluffy Fromage 420 yen," "Fuu's Melting Chocolate Pudding 390 yen," "Souffle Cheesecake 330 yen," and "Fuu's Smooth Pudding 390 yen." The store seems to have more products now that it has expanded, and they even have tapioca in the eat-in area. Now, let's take these goodies home! - Corner Bento Box (¥440): A bento box filled with roll cake pieces, truly a unique creation! It looks like a regular bento with white rice topped with minced meat and pickled plum. At first glance, I thought it was a regular bento box, haha. The white rice with cream on top is not too sweet, and it's really good. The pickled plum is like a strawberry. And if you dig deeper, you'll find more surprises inside! The minced meat has a casual tart-like taste, which is also delicious. Each component is tasty on its own, so it's a fun and unique experience. Under the rice and minced meat, there are lots of roll cake pieces packed in! It was fluffy and delicious. The cream is spread throughout, and there's even a chocolate plate hidden inside, like a surprise from a nori bento box. - Maple Bear (?) dessert: I can't remember why this dessert is so expensive. This bear is cute and looks delicious, so I decided to get it. There are several flavors available, but I chose the gentle maple with occasional walnuts, giving it a simple and tasty feel. I heard earlier this year that the original store had moved closer. This time I visited the new location of the bakery "Patisserie Fu!!". The colorful and vibrant sweets are still lined up as usual. There is also a cafe space for dining in. The dining in (takeout also available) menu is displayed on a whole wall. The register is also for dining in. This time, I had a hard time choosing and ended up buying two items. Pumpkin Mont Blanc for 480 yen tax included and a Pastry Chef's Daifuku for 350 yen tax included. The sweets at Fu always look so tempting. The seasonal deliciousness is so good! The sweetness of the pumpkin is delightful. As you eat, you'll find pieces of pumpkin at the bottom. A sweet surprise! The mochi has an incredible charm. The strawberry mousse and cream inside are soft and gentle, just like they look. It's a delicious treat that melts in your mouth. Even though the store has gotten bigger, each sweet treat is still the same old "Fu!" taste.

I went to buy the cake called Cubic that I was interested in last time! It's a square chiffon cake! The price is ¥900, and it's a normal size for a birthday cake... It's so cheap (○_○)!! There is custard cream in the middle, and this cream is really delicious (*´∇｀*) The cookie on top is also delicious!! I think I could eat a whole one. I also bought an apple pie, and the pie crust was so crispy!! It was delicious (*´∇｀*)

Since moving, it's my first time here! I was surprised to see how splendid the store has become. The name is spacious with high ceilings! Wow, I'm impressed. I went to the drink counter and ordered Tapioca Milk Tea Soft and Green Lemon Tea. The tapioca was a bit firm, and the soft serve was delicious. And the Green Lemon Tea was just amazing! The patisserie, as expected, was exquisite. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

One Saturday night, we held a birthday party for a drinking buddy at the izakaya we always go to. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks, chatting and having a great time! However, since there was no cake at the izakaya (lol), we brought one in! (lol) The female members took care of preparing the cake during the day. I thought it would be a whole cake, but it turned out to be the popular "Long Long Roll" from this cake shop! I had wanted to try it when I visited the shop before. It's so long that you can't finish it unless you have a lot of people (lol). It made its appearance from a long narrow box! I didn't measure the length, but it's really long! We asked the owner of the shop to cut it for us. There were 7 of us, including the shop owner, and we each had 2 slices, but it was so delicious! The sponge was moist, and the sweetness of the cake was just right. The cake even had a chocolate plate that said, "Happy Birthday, ○○!" This cake might be perfect for livening up a party with friends! It was a fun and enjoyable birthday party!
