I ordered the "Oden A Set" for 400 yen, which includes beef tendons, thick tofu, daikon radish, and 2 sausages, with a bonus egg added because there was not much tendon. I also got the "Grilled Gyoza for 2" for 600 yen, which was small in size but enough for one person. I added the "Taiwanese Chicken Rice" for 380 yen, which was a chicken version of Lurou rice with a hint of star anise. The owner even brought a heater closer to us because it was cold. He reminded me of Big Daddy with his towel and glasses. It was quite chilly even inside the stall-like setting. I also got a hot sake as an extra, which turned out to be a single serving cup. Did you know that Tetsunabe started as a street stall? It eventually expanded to three branches in Gion, Nakasu, and Arae. This branch seems to be a satellite of the Nakasu location. Along the Small Willow Street in Minoshima, there is a direct sales outlet for "Tetsunabe". On the 1st floor, you will see cars parked, go past them towards the back. There doesn't seem to be anyone around, so you should ring the bell. The gift pack of dumplings is 20 for 1296 yen, but for regular customers, you can get 20 for 750 yen with simple packaging only available at the factory, which is quite a deal. When you get home, you can cook them. The recipe says to cook them while still frozen. Hmm... I might have made a mistake? Dumplings are often influenced more by how they are cooked rather than the ingredients themselves. It might be difficult to recreate the taste of the restaurant using a regular frying pan at home. Additionally, there is a food stall on the parking lot side with its own menu. The operating hours are listed as 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, but I have never seen them open during those hours.
