The sashimi salad of flounder with sansho sauce is delicious. The steamed chicken with leek sauce is juicy and tasty. The saliva chicken is juicy and delicious. The jellyfish with mustard is crunchy, spicy, and meaty, and the best jellyfish I've ever had. The century egg has a half-cooked center, which I've never seen before, and it's delicious. The pickled vegetables have a mild crunchiness and are delicious. The individual dishes are slightly larger than the appetizer assortment and are better. The sweet and sour pork with sauce and yam is delicious, although I'm not a big fan of pork. Long time no see, the mighty Chuka Zendou. Has it become easier to make reservations recently? It seems like you can get a reservation two weeks in advance if it's not the weekend. I stuck to my usual Shaoxing wine rule. The saliva chicken - I've never had a better one! The shrimp mayo - also amazing! Yolim chicken salad - a classic. Mapo tofu - seems spicier now? Shredded pork with green peppers - a classic. Hot and sour soup - seems spicier now? Zendou-style fried rice (with meat miso and soy sauce) - incredibly delicious! Almond jelly - also top-notch! We ate all of this between two people and ended up feeling like our stomachs were going to burst... The chef even told us we ate too much! (^^;)

Second visit. It's been a while since we last came here. We couldn't order much as there were only two of us, but everything was delicious. The boiled pork belly with cucumber in spicy sauce was just the right level of spiciness even for someone like me who doesn't handle spicy food well! The fluffy and creamy crab omelette with oyster sauce was exquisite. The shrimp mayo was also incredibly tasty. The crab and lettuce fried rice was amazing. And we finished off with almond jelly for dessert. Pure bliss!

I was recommended by a food lover to try out #Shandao Jingchuan, a Chinese restaurant in Kita-Shinchi. I managed to get a counter seat at 8:15 PM, what luck! We started with a platter of 6 appetizers for 3,740 yen, which included thick slices of flounder sashimi salad with Sansho pepper sauce, steamed chicken with scallion ginger sauce, cold jellyfish with mustard flavor, delicious century egg, saliva chicken, and pickled mustard greens. We visited Zenmichi at the request of the birthday person. The restaurant can accommodate 1.5 people even if 3 people come (some items are excluded), so there is no need to worry or fight, which is a relief. We ordered 6 types of appetizers, water spinach, black pepper beef sirloin, shrimp chili, and black fried rice. Everything was delicious, but my favorites were the water spinach, jellyfish with mustard from the appetizers, and shrimp chili. It's a relatively affordable and easy-to-visit restaurant! That being said, it's the backside of Doshima Avansa. Since Junkudo's main store is here, I often come around this area. There are 8 seats and 4 counter sets. The head chef can keep an eye on everything within reach. I was lucky to get in around 9 p.m. The phone was ringing off the hook. Probably because it was the timing for turnover after all the previous customers left. The shredded pork with green peppers was delicious! The fried rice with crab and lettuce was too delicious!! Considering it's in Kitashinchi, I felt it was a bit pricey (๑╹ω╹๑ ) sweat, but I'm definitely going back to try other menu items! Please come again!!!

One day, I called and by chance there was a seat available, so I was thrilled and visited. Here are the dishes I ordered: Century Egg with Chicken, Mapo Tofu, Zendo-style Black Fried Rice, Shrimp Chili, Fluffy Crab Omelette (Salt), and Dan Dan Noodles. All of them have a gentle spiciness, so even those who are not good with spicy food can enjoy them. The dishes were so delicious that I understand why it's hard to get a reservation. Especially the fried rice was honestly the best I've ever had. The rice was fluffy yet moist, and it was superb. They may accept walk-ins after 9 PM (mostly for a second round?), but it would be a waste not to visit as the first stop. The prices are reasonable considering it's in Kita-Shinchi, so I definitely want to come back in the future. However, the hurdle of making a reservation is still there... (crying)
