This is the new Otsuku Butter Frappuccino! I tried the autumn new Otsuku Butter Frappuccino with non-fat and no whip. It's a sweet Frappuccino with a lot of Otsuku flavor soaked in. On top, there's a crispy sweet potato chip! It's a popular Frappuccino that almost everyone was ordering!

I love visiting various Starbucks locations across Japan. The exterior of the Dazaifu store is lovely!! The interior is also lovely!! It's stylish ❤️ The usual coffee tastes even more delicious! There were many foreign customers, so it was hard to find an empty seat inside. The staff members were cool speaking foreign languages, which was impressive haha.

I visited a building designed by Kengo Kuma, and it was wonderful. The interior was crowded and not very relaxing, but the unique atmosphere of the building made it worth a visit. However, since I was on a trip, I also wanted to try a local coffee shop.

Fukuoka was extremely hot that day! Taking a break is tough without going into a shop somewhere. So, I thought about where to have tea, but I was drawn to this distinctive exterior. Starbucks Dazaifu Temmangu Omotesando Store seems to have been designed by architect Kengo Kuma with the concept of "fusion of tradition and modernity using natural materials." The store features a unique design with a traditional wooden frame structure from the entrance to the interior, standing out prominently. Without hesitation, I entered. Inside, I couldn't hear any Japanese due to the conversations of the customers! There were many Chinese or Korean people, it seems. It's really a relief that inbound tourism is recovering after the end of the pandemic. Combined with the distinctive design of the store, I felt like I was in a Starbucks overseas. Still, I was able to cool down properly and have a relaxing break. When visiting, it's essential to have a cafe on the approach, especially in the midst of record-breaking heat. After that, I continued to enjoy sightseeing in Dazaifu. Thank you for the meal!

Located in the middle of the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, this shop designed by Kengo Kuma is quite Instagrammable. The GABURI Peach Frappuccino was delicious! Unfortunately, I forgot to use my Starbucks Rewards card this time. Hopefully next time.

Starbucks on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine caught our attention with its unique design featuring wooden structures. Reluctantly following my companion's insistence to go in, we decided to stop by before the heat of the day set in. Opting for a Short size, I chose an Iced Coffee (319 yen) which leaned towards acidity and was lighter than my preference, but refreshing enough for a hot day. My companion went for an Iced Black Tea (382 yen) and although not a regular tea drinker, found it delicious and refreshing. At checkout, we also picked up an Almond Florentine (196 yen) which was subtly sweet with a nice nutty flavor. The interior of the store was beautifully designed with a ceiling made of wooden structures using a traditional technique called "jigoku-gumi." Overall, a delightful experience at the Starbucks near Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Thank you!

There is a new peach drink at Starbucks. It is full of peach chunks and packed with peach flavor. I was tempted to try the peach customization options, but ended up ordering a regular Frappuccino. Next time, I want to try out the different peach customization options.

The Starbucks on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, designed by the famous architect Kengo Kuma, stands out with its striking and unique design. The traditional wooden structure is visually appealing and provides a warm, sensory experience. I tried the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine Original Blend Iced Coffee Press and Tiramisu. The balance of the coffee's bitterness with the sweetness of the cream in the Tiramisu, paired with the acidity and caramel sweetness of the iced coffee, created a perfect combination.

When you visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, be sure to try the Umegae mochi and also check out the stylish Starbucks Hydrangea Flower Hand Wash that uses plenty of wood from the shrine. Although the main hall of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is under construction, it is becoming a wonderful architectural building and looks cool. Be sure to check it out too!

I visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine for worship and bought an amulet. On the way back, I decided to try some local gourmet food around the shrine. The first stop was a Starbucks, a nationwide chain. I tried the Setouchi Lemon Cake Frappuccino, which was a limited edition for this season. The store was stylish and crowded, but I found the drink interesting and delicious. Overall, it was a good experience, but I found the atmosphere a bit too crowded for my liking.

When you come to Dazaifu, this is the place to be! There are many delicious restaurants in Dazaifu. One of my favorite things to do is visit Starbucks, but when I actually come here, the excitement never stops. I want to come back and take my time. By the way, there were also many foreign visitors.

I visited Dazaifu after several years, with the purpose of visiting an exhibition at the Kyushu National Museum featuring Art Nouveau glass, which I was looking forward to. Despite the recent calming down of the coronavirus situation, Dazaifu was crowded with school trip students and Chinese tourists. Among the crowds, there was a particularly large gathering at this Starbucks designed by Kengo Kuma, who also designed the National Stadium in Tokyo. Everyone was busy taking photos, some even holding umegae mochi in one hand while smiling. (So I didn't go inside, just took photos from outside). There used to be long queues here, but today there was none, so I decided to stop by after a long time. The menu is the same, but the stylish interior makes it exciting. I had a cappuccino (490 yen) and a chocolate scone (300 yen) for a snack. Many people were also buying souvenirs, and it seems that the small Ishihara-yaki mugs sold only at the Dazaifu store are popular. The lively approach to the shrine is really nice. The main shrine in Dazaifu is currently under renovation, so a temporary shrine has been set up. The roof is covered with many trees, which is quite unique and interesting. I will visit again, thank you for the meal!

Today, I visited the power spot Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. It was crowded with foreign tourists and couples on this Saturday. There were various stalls selling mochi, castella, soft serve ice cream, ramen, power accessories, and more, making it enjoyable just to walk around. Feeling like having something sweet, I decided to go to Starbucks Coffee at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The interior of the store surprised me with its unique design. I ordered a cafe latte to go, hoping it would help me relax while walking around. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine without getting tired.

On the second day of my stay in Fukuoka, I visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. However, despite the information stating that renovations would start in May, there was already a temporary building in place on April 6th, and the main hall was under construction, making it difficult to enjoy the visit. As a result, I didn't feel like trying the famous "Ume ga Edamochi" and ended up taking a break at the Starbucks along the approach to the shrine before heading back to Hakata. Interestingly, this Starbucks branch is one of the regional landmark stores, designed by architect Kengo Kuma. I ordered the Cherry Brown Cappuccino for 455 yen, a very sweet cappuccino topped with brown sugar and caramel sauce. It helped alleviate my disappointment from Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The store was spacious and crowded, with many Southeast Asian customers, especially young couples from neighboring countries, enjoying themselves.

The Starbucks located on the crowded mountain path of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, designed by Kuma-san, was a place I really wanted to visit. It wasn't as crowded as I had imagined. Many people were taking photos in front of the store. The store was smaller than I had expected. It was disappointing that the mug I wanted was sold out at this store.

Basically, Starbucks stores all have the same design, but there are some stores called "Starbucks Regional Landmark Stores" that are designed to represent or blend in with the local culture of tourist destinations. One example is the Starbucks store at Dazaifu Temmangu Shrine Omotesando, which was designed by the architect Kengo Kuma. The design combines sharp edges with warm wood elements, creating a captivating space for customers to enjoy their coffee. Starbucks is a global chain founded in 1971 in Seattle, USA, and is known for setting coffee trends. The company has over 32,660 stores in 83 countries, offering various sizes of coffee drinks. The name "Starbucks" comes from the character Starbuck in the novel "Moby-Dick" and the Starbo mining company near Mount Rainier in Seattle. In Japan, Starbucks partnered with Sazaby to expand its presence and now operates as Starbucks Coffee Japan. Starbucks defines itself as a "third place" in people's lives, besides home and work/school. The brand focuses on providing not just coffee but a unique experience for customers. The high prices reflect the added value of the Starbucks experience, and the company emphasizes excellent customer service and staff training to maintain its brand image.

One of Japan's historic shrines with a large number of worshippers, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka Prefecture. And on its approach, there is a Starbucks that is probably one of the most famous in Japan. This branch, designed by a certain world-famous architect, is featured in tourist guidebooks, attracting many tourists who come here specifically for that reason. On this day, with many visitors for the New Year's shrine visit, a long line had formed at this store. The architecture of the store is very photogenic. Regardless of the actual atmosphere inside the store, it is very unique, so everyone is taking lots of pictures. So, on this cold day, we decided to take a break here. I ordered a Short Matcha Tea Latte for 455 yen. It is served in a paper cup with a lid that can be closed. The taste is quite rich - the matcha is intense and the milk is also rich. Since it is a "latte," it doesn't have that diluted feeling like regular matcha milk or matcha latte with water. The sweetness is already there, not too sweet or too bland. It is rich like cocoa, but more bitter and with an adult taste. For those who don't like it too sweet, it might be better to order it with less sweetness. This Starbucks is a special place. Be sure to visit it when you visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.

Fukuoka Prefecture, Dazaifu City, a shop located on the left side as you walk along the approach from Dazaifu Station on the Nishitetsu line. I usually don't review regular Starbucks, but I make it a point to visit unique stores that blend in with special architecture or scenery, such as those located in airports. This time, I took a break at a mysterious building on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The coffee was priced at 350 yen and tasted normal. It's interesting how many people just take photos without actually using the shop. Personally, I wouldn't take photos if I didn't use the shop, haha.

My son brought me a souvenir from his school trip. It's a bottle that can only be bought here. He said there is a Starbucks on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, and it has a wonderful design by Kengo Kuma. The school allowed him to bring back only this, and he took a photo with the camera they allowed him to use. It's a lovely Starbucks. I wish I could have gone there too. He also brought me a Fukuoka limited edition tumbler. He used his Starbucks card to buy it. He seems to like it, and we plan to use it together. The tumbler is a bit expensive, but it comes with a 1000 yen drink ticket, so we can use it for our next visit to have something to drink together. It's a bit complicated as you can only use the ticket for one item worth 1000 yen. Thanks to the purchase with the Starbucks card, we also got a stamp. My son said he had chunk cookies and a Frappuccino with his friends at the local Starbucks.

At the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. I was eager to check out this place that caught my eye when I arrived, so I visited Tenmangu Shrine first and on my way back, I saw the Starbucks Coffee Dazaifu Tenmangu Omotesando store that I had read about in an article introducing "Japan's beautiful Starbucks." It was designed by Kengo Kuma. It was Monday at 9:30, and the inside was empty (*'▽'*). Let's go in♪ Inside was lovely~(*´꒳`*) The back of the store was filled with abundant wood, and the entire back wall was made of glass windows, with a plum tree, the symbol of Tenmangu Shrine, planted outside. Starbucks Latte (Tall) ¥455→ Familiar taste, enjoying a delicious latte in a wonderful setting while traveling is pure happiness ❤︎ Starbucks is truly a blessing (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I left early in the morning, so I was finally able to relax and enjoy coffee time here. The store remained uncrowded until the end, and it felt like the air was clear and flowing smoothly. Thank you for the meal ☺︎
