Recently, I decided to look beyond Kitakyushu City and visited Mizumaki Town in Onga District. I checked out the reviews on Tabelog and decided to try out "Yukimura Ramen," which had left a good impression on me. I arrived around 1 pm for lunch. There were a few customers, but it wasn't crowded. I ordered the standard ramen. It arrived in just 1-2 minutes. Fast! First, I tried the soup. Hmm, it's light and clear. A bit of a tonkotsu aroma as well. The noodles were thin. It might be a matter of personal preference, but I felt it was a bit lacking. So, I decided to order an extra serving of noodles. When the extra noodles arrived, I added them to the bowl. Huh? There was sauce at the bottom of the bowl. That's quite a lot! I mixed it all thoroughly, and as I mixed, the color of the soup changed. I took a sip of the soup. Oh!? The taste changed. The soup became just the right level of richness, and it had a smooth and rounded flavor. Delicious. Personally, I feel that this shop shines after you add the extra noodles. The first bowl left me wanting more, but the taste after adding the extra noodles is great. When you visit, be sure to try the extra serving of noodles.

I received information on Facebook that "Ramen Yukimura" in Nakama City, which had moved, had opened again, so I visited it immediately. The location is in Inokuma, Mizumaki-cho, where "Yamagoya Ramen" used to be. I visited before 4 pm, so it wasn't crowded and I could easily find a seat. This time, I ordered "Ramen" and "Yakisoba (large)". I haven't eaten anything since morning, so I'm really hungry. The "Ramen" arrived in about 5 minutes, followed shortly by the "Yakisoba (large)". The "Ramen" had a rich pork bone broth, but surprisingly it was light and balanced well with the ultra-thin straight noodles. It was delicious, and the seasoned egg was also tasty. On the other hand, the "Yakisoba (large)" had a rich flavor just as it looked, which I liked. It was so delicious. I recommend this "Yakisoba". The quality was already high before, but it feels like it has evolved even more since the relocation. The cost performance is good, and the service is polite. I would like to visit again.

A new ramen restaurant called Ramen Yukimura has opened in Inokuma, Mizumaki Town. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and yakimeshi (fried rice). The ramen had a rich and thick soup with a satisfying flavor. The fried rice had a perfect balance of oil and was delicious. I will definitely visit again! ^_^
