Regular visit. Once again, we enjoyed delicious dishes. This time's menu included grilled eel, vinegared dish, pickled vegetables, turtle soup, steamed egg custard with entrails, crab soup, sashimi with bonito and swordtip squid, corn and white miso croquette, slippery noodles with yuzu, simmered jade eggplant with red sea urchin and myoga, black throat rice, simmered conger eel with winter melon and sweet potato leaves, bite-sized beef bowl with rib roast, blancmange with vanilla and rock salt, baked red bean sweets, and charcoal-roasted coffee. Everything was delicious! I always appreciate the taste of the white rice. It might be the last taste of summer... Looking forward to the delicious flavors of autumn! It was so tasty, thank you! I will definitely visit again!

Great value for money with no disappointments!! Grilled eel, turtle soup, steamed egg custard with crab, fresh sashimi, bonito with sea bream, seared corn and white miso croquette, jade eggplant with sea urchin jelly, ham with seven spice miso, rice cooked with blackthroat seaperch, mini beef bowl with Matsusaka beef, blancmange with salted vanilla cream, cheese and red bean roll, fried coffee, and roasted coffee.

First, cheers with beer. The tea cup steamed soup with soft-shelled turtle was rich and delicious! The shrimp and udo tempura are delicious this time of year, especially the shrimp. The miso soup with Ise shrimp was refreshing with a big shrimp. The grilled meat was thick and perfectly grilled, very delicious. It's been a year since I had tilefish, and the sticky texture was great. It was perfect with sake. The grilled young goby and cucumber salad had a great fatty texture and perfect grilling, and the cucumber side dish was a perfect match. The blowfish tempura was delicious, with careful preparation, great texture, and perfect sauce. I love the steamed young goby, it was light and delicious. The sea bream rice had a great aroma and was delicious, I had seconds (laughs). The white rice with soy sauce egg yolk, bonito flakes, wild boar meat, and miso soup were all delicious. I'm stuffed (laughs). The dessert ice cream was refreshing, and the fried sweet bean paste was delicious. I really enjoyed the meal, the seasoning was to my liking and truly delicious. I will come back again.

This is my first visit. The dishes I had were as follows: Softshell turtle chawanmushi with shrimp and taro, garlic, urui tempura with spiny lobster, spiny lobster soup, mochi in white miso with yuzu flavor, grilled blackthroat seaperch with salt, fugu sashimi, fugu skin, fugu roe sauce, sweetfish and turnip simmered in Wakasa style (with myoga, ginger, and kinome), rice, lemon and white wine granite, deep-fried red beans and cream cheese, coffee. As the name suggests, the grilling at this charcoal-fired restaurant is excellent, especially the blackthroat seaperch. The skin is crispy, the flesh is soft and juicy, and the seasoning with salt is outstanding. The aroma of charcoal tickles the nose, making it a place where you can enjoy with all five senses. Additionally, what makes this restaurant outstanding is the service from the head chef and staff. When the head chef was explaining the dishes from a distance at the counter, and it was hard to hear, he discreetly sent one of his apprentices over to explain clearly. When I thought about wanting a second helping of rice, a female staff member who was farthest away noticed and brought it over. It's a great restaurant where everyone pays attention to the customers. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for my birthday celebration. When I entered, I was overwhelmed by the stylish atmosphere. All the dishes were delicious, and I was excited by the unexpected menu. They also prepared a birthday cake for me, which made me very happy! The staff were very helpful, thank you. The drinks were also good, and although the bill was a bit of a surprise, it was a fun meal.

I was taken there for my birthday ♥ It had a very nice atmosphere, stylish and with a traditional Japanese feel! You can sit at the counter and watch the chefs prepare the food right in front of you ✩ It was so much fun ♬ The dishes that came out were all beautifully presented and delicious ♡ Everything was so tasty and amazing ✩, although I felt the portion sizes were a bit small? But it was so enjoyable! It was a wonderful and delicious restaurant!! The cost performance is not great, so it's a place to choose for a special occasion ♥

In Fukushima, there is a Japanese cuisine restaurant called Shun that uses a variety of cooking methods on their ingredients. Their dishes like chawanmushi, matsutake mushrooms, conger eel, and more are all exquisite. I tried their delicious sanma gohan as the finale, and even though I was full, I couldn't resist getting seconds. This is a restaurant that I would recommend for treating yourself or for special occasions. It is likely to be selected for bronze or silver awards in the future.

The dishes are all carefully prepared and the broth is delicious. The charcoal-grilled dishes include unique items like grilled softshell turtle in sauce, which are surprisingly delicious. The meat is incredibly tender and flavorful! The rice cooked in an earthen pot is also exquisitely delicious, with gentle flavors that perfectly complement the side dishes. I finally visited a popular traditional Japanese restaurant that I had been curious about for a long time. Thank you so much. The restaurant exudes an aura of a "renowned establishment" with its dignified appearance nestled quietly in a residential area. Upon opening the door, you are greeted with a spacious and open atmosphere, with a clean single plank counter and a charcoal grilling space where you can enjoy watching the chefs at work. Private rooms and a smoking room are also available in the back. The restaurant only offers course meals. - The pre-meal drink was incredibly fruity and not like regular sake. - The turtle soup with chicken oil broth was delicious, with fried white leeks adding a nice touch. - Edamame, grilled ginkgo nuts, and rice steamed with karasumi (bottarga) and chrysanthemum flowers was beautifully presented and delicious. - The conger eel and winter melon soup made me cry with its gentle broth flavored with kujo green onions, plum meat, and yuzu. - The sashimi, straw-grilled horse mackerel, and seared aged kue were both incredibly delicious. - The grilled softshell turtle was amazing with a fluffy charcoal aroma. - The vinegar dish of hairy crab with grilled trefoil jelly brought out the full flavor of the crab. - The simmered blackthroat sea perch with grilled eggplant melted in the mouth, overflowing with flavor. - The clay pot rice with shiny white rice was served with dashimaki tamago, dried mehikari fish, salted kombu, pickled cabbage, and miso soup. - For dessert, there was a refreshing white wine and lemon granita, and a hot cream cheese and red bean fried pastry. - I finished the meal with elegantly drinking a coffee roasted over charcoal. I used this restaurant, "Charcoal-fired Japanese Cuisine Ishii," for a business dinner when I visited Osaka! The restaurant was very beautiful and had a great atmosphere, which raised my expectations! The course started with a delicious turtle soup, which was incredibly tasty! I was hooked from the first dish! Also, the grilled throat fish was amazing! It was juicy, fragrant, and incredibly delicious! The speed at which the dishes were served was just right, allowing us to enjoy our meal while having conversations. This restaurant has helped me grow as a person!

All the dishes that came out were delicious, especially the softshell turtle chawanmushi was an excellent dish that warmed my body. It paired well with sake and I ended up drinking too much. Personally, I wish the speed of serving the dishes was a bit faster. It was a private room, so I understand the timing can be difficult. Next time, I would like to enjoy watching the chefs work at the counter. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Ishii, a charcoal grill restaurant in Osaka Fukushima, for the second time. I had a very enjoyable experience with the charcoal grill cuisine. The menu was filled with my favorite dishes, especially the sea urchin was outstanding. The luxurious hairy crab, bonito, blackthroat seaperch, all were exquisite. The special tan-tan noodles they made for me this time were also wonderful, and the cilantro grilled with oil over charcoal was the perfect topping. Thank you for the feast.

It was delicious, but I felt there was too much sansho pepper and wild vegetables. Out of the 9 dishes, 4 of them had it. It was mostly just the taste of sansho pepper. A bit disappointing. I liked the last dish with eel, but I wished there was more sansho pepper in that one. The bamboo shoot rice was tasty but had a slight bitterness to it. Each dish looked beautiful, so it was a bit disappointing.
