This restaurant seems promising for other set meals and dim sum as well!

Payment was made at the hotel's front desk cashier. The restaurant offers a wide range of Chinese dishes, a variety of izakaya-style menu items, and even dessert options, making it a great place for families to enjoy.

And I'm hungry. I'm too lazy to think about it, so I searched for nearby places... I decided to stop here, at the Hong Kong Daihanten. I parked my car in the parking lot. On the rooftop of the building, there was a sign for a business hotel. I entered, disinfected my hands, and walked in to find a reception counter. Keys were hanging on the wall. It really is a business hotel. I was seated at a table. The table had a grill for yakiniku. I looked at the menu. Hmm, it's quite expensive. I ordered the grilled rice set for 770 yen. There was one group of customers before me, and two more arrived later. The restaurant was spacious but mostly full. Well, there were quite a few empty seats. The atmosphere was quiet. In the quiet restaurant, I could hear the waiter being scolded by the kitchen staff (laughs). There was a clanging sound from the back, like a frying pan and ladle hitting each other. After a while, my set meal arrived. It came with soup and salad. The set meal was a good deal, but I think the individual grilled rice was the same price. I finished the salad and took a bite of the grilled rice... It was delicious. It had a slightly Japanese aroma and a well-seasoned taste, making it quite authentic. The soup had a strong ginger flavor and was tasty. The taste was good. I just wished for a bit more lively atmosphere in the restaurant. But it's understandable given the current situation.

Today's lunch is at "Restaurant Hong Kong" in Sakai City, Osaka. I had to travel to this area for work. Since the weather is nice today, I decided to take a short drive in my car. (I wish I had a girl sitting next to me...) But, "Hong Kong" in Sakai City... I wonder why? I ordered the Liver and Leek Set Meal (990 yen). They have about 10 set meals ranging from 770 yen to 990 yen. After some consideration, I chose the Liver and Leek set meal for its balanced nutrition. It arrived after a short wait! It looks more luxurious than I expected. Let's dig in. The main dish of Liver and Leek is surprisingly delicious. It goes well with the rice. I'm enjoying it! The set meal also includes salad, soup, white rice, and dessert, providing a well-balanced meal. Although it's a Chinese restaurant, the atmosphere feels more like a countryside drive-in. The bill is quite large. Oh, 5% consumption tax included... That's an old tax rate! The prices seem a bit high for a countryside restaurant. The parking lot is spacious! The exterior of the restaurant building has a sign for "Business Hotel" on the rooftop. It seems like this place is connected to a hotel called "Business Hotel Hong Kong." It has a unique charm.

This Chinese buffet might be the best one! You should definitely try it out!

I visited this restaurant while driving from Hannan City to Misaki Town in the rain. I ordered the mixed vegetable stir-fry set meal and dumplings. It was delicious.

Recently, I have been staying at the Hong Kong Business Hotel located on the second and third floors. I enjoy staying here because of the convenience of the large parking lot next to the hotel and the presence of the Chinese restaurant on the first floor. The restaurant serves traditional Chinese dishes, and even though it is not fancy or authentic, I love the old-fashioned charm of the place. Tonight, I had the recommended sweet and sour pork set meal for 1200 yen, which was delicious and filling. The portion was generous, and I also couldn't resist ordering the Tianjin noodles, which had a unique flavor with carrots in the egg. Overall, I was satisfied with the quality and prices of the food. The restaurant's name, "Hong Kong," is not related to the actual place but was chosen because Hong Kong was trendy at the time. Regardless of the name, this restaurant serves authentic Quannan cuisine. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I was always hesitant about whether to enter as I passed by the front. I had heard about a delicious Chinese restaurant in the area. I finally had the opportunity to visit. It's a bit different from the typical local Chinese restaurants, with a spacious interior that truly feels like a Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is reminiscent of "Chinatown in San Francisco." I ordered the Meatball Sweet and Sour Half for 1000 yen, the Chinese Donburi for 700 yen, and the Xiao Long Bao for 550 yen. The Chinese Donburi had a light and savory sauce with just the right amount of thickness. It had vegetables, squid, shrimp, and wood ear mushrooms, and the seasoning was perfect. The Meatball Sweet and Sour had a great texture with a thick sweet and sour sauce. The meat was well mixed and tender. I personally prefer a slightly crispier outer layer, but that's just my preference. The Xiao Long Bao had well-blended meat inside, giving it a smooth texture. Unfortunately, there was no meat juice coming out, although there was a little bit. The skin was pleasantly thick and tasty, but it tore, causing the meat soup to leak out. Nevertheless, the Xiao Long Bao was delicious even without the meat juice. They even gave me complimentary ice cream, despite it being my first visit. I enjoyed it. The lunch menu is quite reasonably priced, and I would like to try it someday as it is available until 3 pm. When I asked about the opening hours on my way out, the owner, who somewhat resembled Mr. Chofuki, gave me an approximate answer that they are open from around 11 am until around 11 pm. I like this kind of casual approach, just like a certain Thai restaurant in Wakayama City that opens at 11 am, which I also like.
