I went to buy a cake the other day, but I'm back again because I heard that they started selling ice cream. Initially, they were only open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but now they are also open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekends, they have a variety of freshly baked cakes in the showcase, along with a lot of baked goods like financiers and tarts. They also have canelés, chunk cookies, and more. They started selling freshly baked goods because they wanted everyone to experience the excitement of eating them. They have also started selling chocolate ice cream. Today, I tried the Chocolate Ice Cream with Warabi Mochi for 650 yen. Inside, there was crème chocolat, gateau chocolat, and chocolate warabi mochi. The ice cream was topped with shaved chocolate and cookies. It was not too sweet and refreshing, and very delicious. There was a good amount of warabi mochi, so it was quite satisfying. In summer, we all crave cold treats, so I'm happy that they are selling ice cream now.

This is a chocolate cake specialty shop in Suwanomori, Sakai City, run by an older man. It seems like he trained at a famous shop, and the cakes are really delicious. They have the unmistakable taste of the famous shop. The chocolate cake is definitely a must-try. It's incredibly delicious and the best.

★Cocoro to Kakao★
A cake shop in Sakai✨✨
I went to buy a birthday cake for my mother in the evening, and almost everything was sold out, but I managed to buy one and gave it to my mother... and she was so happy! The staff's service was excellent✨✨
Truly a hidden gem of a cake shop! I recommend making a reservation in advance for homemade cakes! There are so many delicious options available, so it might be a good idea to go early to buy them.

There was a shop that caught my attention since it opened. The shop had limited operating days, so I couldn't visit it often. Recently, I heard that they have increased their operating days. The shop is a bit hard to find, located along the Hankai tram line. I finally managed to visit it today. Inside the shop, there were beautifully displayed cakes, each meticulously made. The owner, a 25-year-old young man, seems to have a strong passion for his work. I bought the following cakes: Minion, Ete, Peach Panna Cotta, Matchan, and Financier. The yellow one was Ete, not Minion as I initially thought. Ete had a passion fruit mousse and milk chocolate cream, creating a smooth and melting texture. The Peach Panna Cotta was my favorite, with ripe peaches and creamy panna cotta creating a blissful combination. Matchan had a matcha cream with kinako-coated mochi inside, a fusion of Japanese and Western flavors. The Financier had a coconut aroma and was easy to eat in one bite. The Minion had a cherry mousse, pistachio cream, and a hint of kirsch in the dough, although it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I also look forward to trying the "Chocolate with Warabi and Ice Cream" next time. Thank you for the delicious treats!

The chocolate flavor is strong and delicious (*^^*) It's been a while since I thought chocolate ice cream was delicious. The chocolate warabi mochi was also included, but it wasn't too sweet and was easy to eat. Another one is the Caramel Banana Rapa Bana, Caramelized Caramel Ice Cream, Coffee Jelly, and Kinutou Warabi Mochi. It has just the right amount of sweetness and is also easy to eat. It's a dessert that soothes you on a hot day. I want to go buy a cake next time. Thank you for the meal (^∧^)

Today, I want to introduce a cake shop that I always rely on in the Suwanomori area. The Suwanomori area is a peaceful town with many hidden cafes, making it a hot spot in my opinion. "Kokoro to Cacao" is located along the Chinden street, right near Funao Station! The street itself has retro coffee shops, making the walk quite enjoyable. When you enter the shop, you'll be captivated by the beautiful and delicious-looking cakes in the showcase. Each cake is not only visually appealing but also incredibly tasty. You can feel the care put into making them, so I always savor them slowly, feeling a bit sad when I finish. They update on Instagram when new cakes are available, making it easy to visit even late at night.

I have a lot of drafts piled up, but do you want me to introduce them first? I found a shop that made me want to share it, so today is the third Monday... Oh!!! That shop is open! So, I went to the old store, and it turned out to be the pre-opening day of the new store! I felt like it was fate. I went there and the shop was located along the Hankai tram line. It was the first day of the pre-opening, and even though it was lunchtime, there were already many customers. I chose the Afro for 550 yen from the showcase. The vibrant green pistachio caught my eye, and I felt a sense of familiarity, so I chose it. It had a nutty texture and a mild sweetness, which I liked. The clean cut of the cake revealed hidden accents in multiple layers. I also tried the Coco Kaka for 550 yen, which seemed to be a classic item. It had a shiny chocolate veil, and when you took off its coat, the inside was amazing. The scent and richness of cocoa were outstanding. I also bought the Coco Kaka Roll for 480 yen, another classic item. It was a chocolate roll cake with a smooth cream inside, delicate texture, and it melted in my mouth. It was a bit sweeter compared to the other items. The sponge was excellent. I also got the Cannele for 230 yen. It had a crispy outside, moist and chewy inside, and a sticky texture. I think I might get addicted to this unique texture. It's small in size but leaves a big impact, so it seems like a great souvenir. I'm already thinking about which one to try next. These sweets were made with dedication and care, and you could feel the craftsmanship in them. The shop is expanding its business days, and both the shop and customers are looking forward to the future. Bunker is a serious job for daily assistance, but providing sweets for daily comfort with such a great concept is wonderful! I'm grateful for the ordinary days. Thank you for the delicious treats!

After playing at Hamadera Park, we visited this place on the way back. It's located in a narrow street, but there is a parking lot. I forgot to take a photo, but the appearance, rich flavor, everything was exceptional. From the moment I took a bite, I was filled with happiness. I will definitely come back. They have an Instagram, so check it out.

Fukusen Elementary School was near a shop that I really liked, but since it moved, I haven't been able to go there at all. However, the shop had a temporary sales event at Ario Hoo, so I asked my coworker about it and went to buy some cakes right away. I chose three cakes:
1. Coco Caca - 580 yen: A bittersweet chocolate cake that I think is the shop's recommended cake. It has an adult taste. When I asked if it was sweeter than Mel Choco, I was told that Mel Choco is safe even for children, with a caramel flavor and honey vanilla chocolate cake. So, I chose the adult taste.
2. Ravi - 580 yen: A cute chocolate cake with strawberries on top, made with dulce chocolate instead of white chocolate. When you cut it open, you can see the layers of chocolate cake stacked up, showing the attention to detail.
3. Maron Bai - 260 yen: My son took a bite and exclaimed, "What is this? It's so delicious!" and happily ate it. So, it seems like a hit! My son seems to really enjoy these cakes. I wonder why they are so affordable? (^_^*) I heard there is parking for one car at the new shop, so I might try to visit there next time! My friend told me that they went to buy some cakes after shopping for groceries at Mandai because it was nearby.
