Fukushima bar hopping, 3rd stop! "Night Market"
This is the 3rd stop on our Fukushima bar hopping adventure. I am a conscious food blogger. The third stop is a bit away from the main area of Fukushima Station. It's the street food bar "Night Market"! It's been a while since I last visited Night Market. I wonder how many years it has been... The interior is chic log house style! The spacious interior has a log house feel with a strong presence of wood. It's recommended for drinking parties, dates, and even group dates. The second floor seems to be available for private parties. I haven't been there, but it looks fun!
A shop where you can enjoy 4 different shops in one place!!
Night Market is a rare "street food bar" where there are four street stalls inside the shop, each offering its own menu. So, the number of menu items is no joke. You can enjoy a food tour of 4 different shops in one place. It's really fun and I recommend it. The shop offers cuisine from Kochi Prefecture, American-style burgers, a baseball pub, "Mikazuki," and a bar! You can enjoy drinking at each counter or savor the menu of each shop at the table. You can never eat enough no matter how many times you go! So, you'll want to go back again and again! This is my 4th visit, but I still want to go more!
A bit restrained for the 3rd stop?
Since this is the 3rd stop on our bar hopping adventure, I tried to be a bit restrained... But since it's Night Market, I enjoyed it to the fullest! Pushing the limits...!! My stomach is three times its normal size... Please bear with me, body...!
This time, I was with a friend who was visiting Night Market for the first time, so we focused on the popular menu items.
Kochi direct delivery straw-grilled bonito tataki: 900 yen
A signature menu item from Orank. Authentic straw-grilled bonito tataki by the master from Kochi Prefecture (although he has now moved to the second shop)! It's irresistible with salt and garlic. Octopus balls (salt and sudachi flavor): 500 yen
Another recommended menu item from Orank is the octopus balls! There are various seasonings and toppings, but the recommended choice is salt and sudachi. It's a unique octopus ball from Kochi. It's creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Sprinkle some salt, add plenty of sudachi, and occasionally some mayonnaise. No matter how much you've eaten and drunk, you'll want to eat this. Gorilla's Burger: 900 yen
At this point, it's the hamburger from & Burger. Yes, I'm just a glutton. The wild beef patty, bacon, sunny-side-up egg, and more make it a hearty meal! I'm on my way to becoming a glutton! The crunchy vegetables are also good. The buns are soft. My stomach is full, but the deliciousness is causing my satiety center to collapse. If you come here from the first stop, you might end up eating so much that you can't make it to the second stop... but I'll definitely come back.
