I tried purchasing some sweets for White Day in 2023 at the famous Parisian confectionery shop "Ladurée" located on the 1st floor of the commercial facility LUCUA Osaka next to Osaka Station. The shop has a cute atmosphere with pastel green interior. I visited on White Day itself, so there were a few men shopping, but it seemed like there were more women customers.
I bought the White Day limited edition macaron set "Millefleurs (3024 yen)" which includes 6 macarons. The macaron shells had vibrant colors, adding to their charm. The texture of the macaron shell was crisp and slightly chewy, which was nice. The flavors of the 6 macarons in the Millefleurs set were as follows:
- Chocolat: Rich and intense chocolate flavor.
- Thé Marie-Antoinette: The macaron shell is light blue, with a tea flavor.
- Vanille: A strong vanilla flavor with vanilla beans.
- Fraise: Filled with strawberry confiture, giving a strong strawberry taste.
- Citron: The yellow macaron shell had a beautiful lemon flavor.
- Pistache: A pistachio flavor with a nutty taste.
Overall, Ladurée's macarons were sweet but had a great texture, and the flavors were delightful. It had been a while since I had Ladurée's macarons, and I found them better than those from other confectionery shops. They were well received by the recipients, so I recommend Ladurée for macarons. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I happened to be walking in Lucua and came across this cake in front of the Ladurée store. There were just two left, so I decided to buy them to take home. I bought two and brought them home to try to please my wife... Well, I didn't do anything that required trying to please her (I can assure you). After dinner, I had this strawberry cake. At 1100 yen for one, it seems a bit overpriced for what it is. Not everything was smooth, and there were some hard parts probably due to shaping. I think the taste would be more satisfying at a place like Foundry. But maybe the design is cute and includes labor costs. I might try another cake from there next time.

On the first floor of Lucua Osaka, there is a shop that sells macarons and Western-style sweets. The macarons are a must-try, and the cute cakes are also eye-catching. I purchased one of the cakes that caught my attention. It's called "Fraise Laduree" (¥1188). The outside is a crispy white chocolate with a gentle strawberry-flavored mousse, and inside there is coconut and rich strawberry paste. It was a visually appealing cake that was enjoyable. I was also interested in trying the "Ispahan," but it was sold out this time, so I look forward to trying it next time. I also want to visit the cafe.

I had guests coming over so I bought some tea snacks. They looked cute and had a variety of flavors which was fun. The mitarashi dango flavor was an interesting fusion of French and Japanese. The price was a bit high so I wouldn't buy them for home use.

Visited Ladurée at Lucua Osaka for the first time on a weekday night in September 2022. This renowned patisserie was originally founded in Paris in 1862 during the reign of Napoleon III, and now has a branch in Osaka. I bought a custom set of macarons, with a total of 10 pieces for my family, including 3 for myself. The flavors I chose were Rose, Thé Marie Antoinette, and Chocolat. The Rose macaron had a gentle rose scent, while the Thé Marie Antoinette had a tea-like aroma. The Chocolat macaron was rich and decadent. Each macaron was priced at ¥500, but the quality and taste justified the cost. The experience was worth it for my daughter's birthday celebration.

I bought a vanilla and white chocolate macaron from among many macarons available. It cost 324 yen each, which seemed a bit pricey, but the taste was really delicious. It wasn't significantly different from macarons at other shops. They had cute packaging with collaborations with Sylvanian Families.

Family went shopping and had lunch in Umeda! Had lunch and wandered around. Before heading home, decided to have something sweet. Since we were taking the train, we couldn't have cake. Remembered about macarons! The little one loves macarons ♫ And when it comes to macarons, it has to be Ladurée ♫ It's cute, delicious, and never disappoints. Each of us chose our favorite flavors. A must-have is pistachio! We enjoyed them together at home. The colorful macarons really lift up the mood, don't they? Thank you for the meal!

Every time I pass through Lucua, I have been drawn to this cute shop! The aprons worn by the staff are very cute. The macarons come in a wide variety of flavors, including some unique ones that I haven't seen elsewhere, making it difficult to choose. The packaging is also cute and stylish, making it perfect for gifts.

I went to USJ to have fun, and the next day I played in Osaka and then returned home. I bought macarons at the Lucua store. I purchased Osaka-exclusive mixed juice, popcorn, Marie Antoinette tea, and violet tea. The tea was delicious.

Dalloyau had withdrawn from Osaka, which was disappointing, but with this place, it's all good. They have proper macarons. However, it's still expensive to go over 300 yen each... I bought 6, and they said I could fit 2 more in the box, so I ended up getting 8. It was around 2500 yen. Wow. But, being famous, they are delicious. I'm not a fan of those colorful, artificial-tasting ones from other shops. These ones are like Dalloyau, with natural flavors that I like! The canelé shop across the street is crowded, but this one is good too. You can buy without waiting in line. Maybe because it's expensive? When you bring your own bag, the purple thin paper wrapping is kind of old-fashioned, like a butcher shop or something.

There is a Parisian patisserie at LUCUA Osaka that offers macarons with the flavor of your favorite tea. One of the options is the Marie Antoinette macaron, which has a refreshing taste with a gentle sweetness. Price: 290 yen (excluding tax).

Macarons are priced at a level where you can buy a small cake with just one, but they are definitely delicious. Cheaper macarons from other shops tend to be sticky. There are various flavors available, and each one has its own unique appeal. A male friend once said he didn't like macarons, but for those who find them too sweet or too fragrant to eat in one bite, it's best to enjoy them in two or three sittings.

Taking my child for an exam in Osaka, I found myself queuing at Ladurée, right across from Daniel. I couldn't resist the colorful macarons on display, so I bought a box of 4 for 1560 yen (excluding tax). You can choose your favorite flavors to fill the box, and I picked:
- Marie Antoinette Tea: Ladurée's original tea-infused cream with a hint of rose fragrance.
- Pistachio: Cream with pistachio flavor.
- Lemon: Refreshing lemon cream filling.
- Cassis Violet: Confiture with blackcurrant and violet scent.
I personally prefer Jean-Paul Hévin's macarons, so I found Ladurée's a bit too sweet and monotonous. The cute pink box I chose is so adorable that I want to display it. I also got a small green tote bag (at an extra cost) to carry the macarons, which would make a perfect gift.

One day, I visited a flower shop on the first floor of Lucua, and next to it, I found that Ladurée had opened. The pastries displayed in Ladurée were so cute that I couldn't decide which one to buy. After wandering around, I finally decided to buy a tin with a picture of the Eiffel Tower on it. The tin contained 12 cookies in total, with 3 pieces each of 4 different flavors - Nante, Chocolate Hazelnut, Viennese, and Pistachio, for 2,000 yen. The cookies were soft and crumbled in the mouth, with a delicious buttery aroma. It was so tasty that I couldn't stop myself from eating more. It was nice to be able to enjoy different flavors of cookies. I would love to buy another tin and try different flavors.

I heard that Ladurée has reopened in Osaka, so I went to check it out. This time, it was a store that only offered takeout. In Kyoto, I bought a Kyoto-exclusive flavor, so in Osaka, I purchased an Osaka-exclusive flavor, which was mitarashi (soy sauce and sugar) flavor. Ladurée's macarons are indeed on the sweeter side. Personally, I prefer Pierre Hermé's macarons because they are less sweet. Also, Ladurée just sticks the macarons directly into the paper bag, so the packaging is a bit sloppy. Maybe it's because it's for personal use, but I wish they would put a little more effort into the packaging to make it more enjoyable. Even McDonald's puts their items in a plastic bag, so...

I visited the macaron shop "LADUREE" on the 1st floor of Lucua Osaka. They sell colorful macarons in various flavors! An 8-piece set costs 3,348 yen and includes Rose, Pistachio, Vanilla, Marie Antoinette, Raspberry, Lemon, Chocolate, and Caramel flavors. For more information about the shop's menu, atmosphere, and recommendations, please check their Instagram, LINE official account, or Facebook if you're using a smartphone. After Pierre Hermé and Ladurée both withdrew from Osaka, the people of Osaka found themselves in a macaron crisis. However, a new shop opened on 2/28, and I finally got to enjoy some delicious macarons again. They only had the classic flavors available, so I bought some to have with my morning tea. Today, I tried the vanilla and pistachio flavors. Due to the temperature, macarons have a richer flavor and taste compared to gelato or ice cream. Macarons are truly delightful. However, my family prefers Hermé, so we are eagerly awaiting his return...

Macarons. Cute and perfect for gifts. There is a popular shop for such macarons on the first floor of Lucua Osaka. "Ladurée" is famous for its macarons. Ladurée is a long-established patisserie founded in 1862 in Paris, France. Ladurée's macarons are popular for their colorful and wide variety of flavors. Following the traditional recipe since the mid-20th century, Ladurée's macarons are loved all over the world as "Macaron Parisien." It's nice that you can choose your favorite flavor from just one piece. This time, I bought a box of 4 pieces. It comes in a lovely box. You can choose between pink and green for the box, so I chose the spring-like green one. Sliding the flower-patterned box reveals the box inside. The macarons come in 4 different flavors, and you can choose your favorite. The lineup for this month is posted. Some flavors were already sold out, but I selected what I wanted. Starting from the front and going clockwise, ◆ Plantein-Peach-Jasmine ◆ Cool-Mango-Turmeric-Ginger ◆ Marie Antoinette ◆ Lemon Plantein-Peach-Jasmine is a peach confiture with jasmine fragrance. It is made in two colors, pink and light green, and the colors are beautiful. Cool-Mango-Turmeric-Ginger is a compote of turmeric and ginger, and mango-flavored ganache. (Turmeric = turmeric) It is characterized by a bright red heart shape. Marie Antoinette is Ladurée's original tea "Thé Marie Antoinette" scented cream. The vivid aqua color is eye-catching. Lemon is a lemon-flavored cream. It is a refreshing lemon-scented, yellow macaron. I happened to choose only the long-named ones (^◇^;), but there are also short-named ones like Rose, Chocolate, Caramel, etc. I also bought some Duckwaz. It comes in a set of 3 pieces, with one each of Fleur d'Oranger, Pistachio, and Rose. The flavors of orange, pistachio, and rose are also stylish. Other items such as chocolates, sablés, teas, and financiers are also available. There are also Osaka-limited packages and mitarashi macarons, so how about them as souvenirs? Thank you for the meal.

Ladurée has returned to Osaka! When they withdrew from Osaka, it was such a sad time... They opened on February 28 next to Daniel on the 1st floor of Lucua Osaka, and I visited the store several times, but there was always a line. One day, I decided to wait in line when it was a little shorter. The Osaka limited edition packaging is so cute! The picture of Osaka Castle and cherry blossoms is so spring-like, I feel like buying it just for the packaging. When it comes to Ladurée, macarons are a must-have! They have 15 colorful flavors, including Osaka limited editions and monthly flavors. I really wanted the Osaka limited edition box for myself, so I bought it: Macaron Box "Parisienne in Osaka" for 2,650 yen. Isn't it super cute? I chose 6 flavors myself: pistachio, Marie Antoinette, mitarashi, cool mango, gingerbread, and lemon. My favorite was the mitarashi, inspired by soy sauce caramel. I was so surprised by how much it tasted like mitarashi! I love it—I'll definitely buy 2 or even 3 next time! The heart-shaped macaron was also adorable. The cool mango gingerbread flavor was a delicious combination of ginger and mango ganache. It's been a while since I had Ladurée's macarons, but they are still delicious! I think Ladurée has the best macarons. They are delicate, soft, and have a playful touch with the flavors. Welcome back, Ladurée! I miss having a café section, but I'm happy that I can buy macarons for now. Thank you for the meal! Ladurée Lucua Osaka Store 06-6136-8527 3-1-3 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka 1F Lucua Osaka

Macaron boxes are limited to Osaka, which is so cute! The sakura flavor is subtly milky and absolutely delicious. The hint of salt in the aftertaste is also a nice touch. I love sakura sweets, and I could eat about 20 of these, they're just that good! I want to be buried in these. The Marie Antoinette flavor has a lovely, elegant scent. It's hard to describe, but it makes me feel the most refined. The chocolate flavor is rich and melts slowly, it's my favorite kind of chocolate. The lemon flavor is sweet and sour with a refreshing hint of lemon peel. I love this one too! The pistachio flavor is rich and nutty, with a slightly rough texture that I adore. Pistachio never disappoints. The Cool Mango flavor has a chocolate base with a subtle ginger flavor. It has a tangy aftertaste that is strangely addictive. "T by Ladurée" Earl Grey Jazzman tea is rich in Earl Grey aroma with a smooth taste. It's very easy to drink and highly recommended, even for those who don't like strong scents.
