I finally got to visit the restaurant I wanted to go to before it moved! They have a lot of counter seats that are perfect for solo dining. I ordered a lemon sour, chicken shumai, Szechuan-style shumai, and a small chicken broth ramen to finish. The total came to 1,958 yen including tax. The chicken shumai was delicious with minced chicken. The Szechuan-style shumai was a new and fresh experience for me as I'm not used to spicy food. The chicken broth ramen was also very tasty, and I even finished all the soup! The all-you-can-drink option was reasonably priced, and I definitely want to go back again. The size of the restaurant seems perfect for around four people to enjoy drinks together.

In the central part of Fukuoka City, there is a chain of izakaya specializing in shumai. Despite being located in a narrow alley, the place is always packed. They have a happy hour until 6:30 pm where drinks are only 300 yen, which is great. The staff and customers are mostly young, creating a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. The interior has a counter and several tables, so it's best to make a reservation before going. The open kitchen allows you to see the chefs preparing the food, showing their confidence in serving fresh dishes. Despite being full, the service is quick and efficient. The staff is attentive without disrupting conversations. I started with a large lemon sour, which was refreshing and not too sweet. The chicken shumai and Szechuan-style shumai were both delicious and well-portioned. The spicy white mapo tofu and the fried horse mackerel with tartar sauce were also excellent. I ended with the chicken broth ramen, which had a tasty soup and tender chicken char siu. Overall, every dish was a hit, and I was impressed by the quality and service of this chain restaurant. I would definitely visit again if they expand their menu or offer daily specials.
