At the restaurant "Shoga-yaki Teishoku Kissa Yuai" in the residential area of Shimo-Shinjo, I saw this place and decided to try it out. There were 4 groups of customers - 2 groups already there and 2 groups that came in after me. It seemed like 3 of the groups were regulars and knew each other, chatting away. There was a friendly lady managing the place by herself, serving efficiently. The set meal menu was reasonably priced at ¥700 and was served promptly. The portions were quite generous and the food was delicious. I found myself wanting more rice, and when I asked for a refill, it was an additional ¥120. It was worth it though, as the default serving was a bit small. I stopped by when I went to Shimoshinjo. It's a residential area. Within it, there is a nice old-fashioned atmosphere café. The interior is cute and woody. I had a siphon coffee. The sound of bubbling was fun, and it was delicious.
