I placed my order and paid at the counter, received a number tag, and waited for about 3 minutes before my order was ready. The beef bowl came with pickles and seaweed soup on the side. I noticed that the color of the beef bowl looked different and realized that it didn't come with pickled ginger as shown in the sample photo. It seems like they are cutting costs. The beef bowl made with Shiraoi beef was indeed special. There was an option to add extra rice for 110 yen, but I felt like it would be too much rice. The beef bowl had chopped green onions on top and the meat was slightly sweet in flavor, as indicated by the English menu description "WAGYU BEEF BOWL WITH SWEET SAUCE." It was tasty, but it was not very different from other beef bowl chain stores. The beer was served in a plastic cup, and it was about 16 ounces of Sapporo Classic beer, although the cup did not have the brand printed on it. I enjoyed my meal.

The pickles and soup that came with it were just average in taste, so it felt like a letdown to have such delicious beef and then be brought back to reality. It was ready in 1-2 minutes. Beep beep. Fast! At this point, I had no expectations at all! I took a bite. Delicious!!! Huh? It's actually delicious! Although the portion was small, I found it satisfying due to the high fat content. I thought it was good because it was not crowded, and I only took a close-up photo of the beef bowl! Haha. It was great to be able to enjoy a drink right before boarding. Now, I will be heading back to the scorching heat of Tokyo. I will probably come back for a winter vacation next time. So, I decided to have an early lunch at the food court in the gate lounge, specifically at the "Hokkaido Shokudo" which has three shops - seafood, ramen, and Hokkaido Wagyu. Since I've tried the ramen before, I opted for the Hokkaido Wagyu shop today. I ordered the "Hokkaido Wagyu Beef Rib Bowl" for 1,380 yen. The size of the bowl and the amount of rice seemed a bit unbalanced. On top of the rice, there were grilled beef ribs with a barbecue flavor, kimchi, bean sprout namul, bell pepper, and onion. It was like a "beef rib bibimbap". The taste was as expected, delicious but not quite satisfying for the price of 1,380 yen. I couldn't tell which part of Hokkaido the meat was from, and the texture was not as tender as I had hoped. It was rather overcooked and tough. Now, off I go! (￣▽￣)ﾉ~

I went to Aomori for one night and two days, it was so much fun! I only stayed in Aomori for one day, but I wish I could have stayed longer and visited other places. Overall, it was a satisfying trip. Before we left, my wife was saying, "We have to celebrate our safe arrival," but now she's like, "I'm full! Should we skip it today?" That's just how she is, always saying things without thinking. The trip ended at the food court in Chitose Airport, where we tried food from all three restaurants. We ordered the "Appetizer Yakiniku Beer Set" from Gyumido. The beer in a plastic cup was a bit of a letdown, but the food was decent. The Bean Sprout Namul was fine, nothing special. The Yakiniku was a bit tough, and the sauce wasn't too flavorful, but it was okay. The Kimchi was cheap and not very good. Overall, it was an average meal. Time was running out, so we had to hurry.

I just had Matsunoto Genghis Khan with Sapporo Classic & Premium Genghis Khan before this, but I was planning to drink here too, so I just had one glass of beer haha. It's a shop in the food court 'Hokkaido Shokudo' inside the domestic gate of New Chitose Airport. It's right in front of the gate I'm going to use, so it's convenient. I had the "A5 Rank Shiraoi Wagyu Beef Bowl and Sapporo Classic Set" (1,390 yen), which is like a beef bowl with high-quality meat. The portion is not large, but it's just right for one beer. I'm holding back from having more because I might need to go to the bathroom on the plane haha. The shop is visible from the seat, so you can use it with peace of mind.

There was a food court called "Hokkaido Shokudo" in the JAL boarding gate area, which included a seafood bowl, Furano ramen, and a specialty wagyu beef restaurant called "Gyumido." I ordered the "Special Gyudon with Onsen Tamago (1300 yen)" which came with pickled vegetables. The beef was of high quality and delicious, with a hint of fat and a tender texture. It was different from the usual beef bowls, more like topping with Sukiyaki-style meat. The pickled vegetables and wakame soup paired well with the high-quality beef, and the ginger and shichimi seasoning may not even be necessary. Overall, it was a delicious and unique experience, and I recommend trying it if you have the chance.
