I had breakfast at Hakata Station. The price was 500 yen, and the portion size felt small, but you could get a refill for an extra charge. The customer service attitude was not very good. However, the taste was really delicious! It was the best egg rice bowl I've ever had.

The shop at the entrance of the mining area. Used at 5 pm. It's nice that you can still eat at this time. I ordered the chicken and egg rice bowl with miso soup for 950 yen. The price is a bit high for a tourist spot. It came out right after I ordered. The staff was a young girl, but she worked efficiently, and I thought I should learn from her. Feedback: The taste was a bit light, with less sauce. The rice bowl had lots of egg and less meat. The egg was fluffy and delicious, but I felt it didn't match the 950 yen price. The miso soup had plenty of fried ingredients and was tasty. With quick service, you can eat between lunch and dinner, so it's recommended for busy times or when you miss lunch!

I stopped by before heading home from a training trip. I had a set of rice topped with raw egg. I was hungover, but it was so delicious that I asked for seconds. There were two types of soy sauce for the rice, so I tried both to compare. I personally preferred the soy sauce. I also enjoyed the toppings of Hakata mentaiko and Ariake seaweed tsukudani, so even without meat or fish, I was very satisfied.

It's 9:30 at Hakata Station on July 5, 2023. Oh, hello, it's Kamen! It's the morning of the second day in Hakata. I visited the same store that I was curious about, which I had to give up on last time due to renovation work. I added mentaiko to the breakfast set, which is the only option available. When combining the egg with the special soy sauce, it had a gentle taste. Maybe I should have gotten extra rice! Thank you for the meal!

After work in Kyushu, I head back home early in the morning. On this day, I arrived at Hakata Station in the 9 o'clock hour, and there were few open shops, so I had breakfast here. It's a TKG shop, also found at Haneda Airport, but it seems to be operated by JR Kyushu. The interior of the shop is small and the tables are very close together.
- Visit Date and Time: June 9, 2023 (Friday) / Before 10 am
- Purpose: Breakfast alone
- Order: Breakfast set (550 yen)
- Order to Service Time: Immediately
- Food Impressions: As soon as I sat down, they said, "I'll bring your breakfast right away," and it arrived promptly. The egg was small in size, and for the amount of rice, it felt quite lonely as a TKG. I managed to finish it by using pickles and miso soup. Perhaps due to the increase in egg prices, the value for money seems to have deteriorated compared to before.
- Recommended Points: It's conveniently located near Hakata Station and the service is quick, making it useful for those in a rush to catch a train. However, for someone like me who can't really taste the difference in egg flavors, it felt like a bit of a waste for breakfast. The service also left me feeling a bit unsettled.

I wanted to find a quick lunch option at the station that wasn't fast food, and I came across a restaurant that looked like it had delicious eggs. They had a variety of desserts as well, but I was hungry so I went with the classic oyakodon with miso soup. It was so satisfying, especially with the amazing dashi soy sauce for the tamagokake gohan. Thank you for the delicious meal!

First stop on the food tour in Hakata, the egg specialty store "Uchinotamago Direct Sales Store". Located at the entrance of the souvenir area "Hakata no Mannaka Mining" inside Hakata Station. I entered the shop about 3 minutes early, but they were still serving only breakfast at that time. I left the shop and re-entered at exactly 11:00. I ordered the "Uchinotamago Oyakodon". Personally, I enjoyed it as a snack.
---
◆Food/Taste: 3.3
The "Uchinotamago Oyakodon" comes with finely chopped katsuobushi. The gentle dashi broth really brings out the taste of the egg yolk. The perfect semi-cooked texture. It went down smoothly with the wooden spoon. However, the chicken seemed to be overshadowed by the egg, so it might have been better without it.
◆Service: 3.1
Probably all female staff, providing polite service.
◆Atmosphere: 3.2
As mentioned, it's in a great location. The interior has a nice wooden theme. The aisle is a bit narrow. About 8 customers were there before me and 5 after me.
◆Cost Performance: 2.9
The "Uchinotamago Oyakodon" was 850 yen, which felt a bit expensive. Even considering tourist prices. The "Egg-only Donburi" without meat is 700 yen, so I might have been better off with that.
◆Drinks: -

A convenient stop for souvenir shopping.

I felt like eating tamago kake gohan again and revisited this place. This restaurant has been around for a long time at JR Hakata Station, and they used to have a branch in Nakasu as well. They also have a store at Haneda Airport, but I often couldn't eat there due to flight times, so I'm glad to finally have the chance. Many people order tamago kake gohan or oyakodon, but I usually go for the tamago kake gohan to fully savor the natural taste of the egg. It's a simple dish that showcases the goodness of high-quality eggs, something you can't experience with regular eggs. I will definitely visit again when I crave it.

- Date and time, congestion level: Weekday, before 10 am. About 70% of the seats were filled.
- Location: Minig Hakata on the 1st floor of Hakata Station Building.
- Actual meal experience!!! Uchi no Tamago breakfast for 550 yen. The breakfast menu consists of one dish, so the order was taken quickly by the staff. The meal arrived promptly. It was a delicious egg over rice, a typical and tasty dish. I forgot to take a picture of the cracked egg. The miso soup had burdock and spinach, with plenty of ingredients. Overall, it was a normal yet delicious place for egg over rice!

Located in Hakata Station Main Gate, JR Kyushu's "Tamago Farm" uses eggs from the "Uchino Tamago" at the Infield Poultry Farm operated by Iizuka. This egg specialty store also sells sweets and other items. I have visited the store at Haneda Airport as well, and it is always crowded due to its location, but if you pass by around 9 a.m. on weekdays, it is surprisingly empty. So, I decided to go in and try their Tamago Kake Gohan (TKG).
- Until 11 a.m., they only offer the "Morning Set (490 yen including tax)." After that, you can also have dishes like Oyakodon, but the TKG set is 100 yen more expensive.
- The breakfast (490 yen) is served in about 1 minute. They just need to serve miso soup and rice, so it's quick.
- Previously, you could have up to 2 eggs for the same price, but now they are charged separately due to rising costs.
- TKG: I don't like egg whites, so I only had the yolks. They also provide TKG soy sauce on the table, but I accidentally poured too much. The rice and eggs were delicious, a high-quality TKG.
- The miso soup contains ingredients like sasagaki burdock and green vegetables, and it was surprisingly tasty.
- Pickled daikon radish.
- Toppings like mentaiko are available for an additional charge. I should have added mentaiko.
For TKG lovers, this breakfast is a delight, and it's nice to be able to enjoy it for the price of a cup of coffee.♪

The restaurant is located near the South Exit ticket gates of Hakata Station on the Kyushu Shinkansen side. When it first opened, there was always a long line. They serve dishes like Tamago Kake Gohan (egg over rice) and Oyakodon (chicken and egg over rice) made with eggs from a chicken farm managed by JR Kyushu. The interior has both counter and table seating. I ordered the Tamago Kake Gohan for 590 yen including tax. You can get refills of both the egg and rice. The rice is cooked slightly firm and topped with a rich, golden egg yolk. It's even more delicious when you add some dashi broth. I enjoyed getting refills and had a great meal.

It's perfect for a light meal. Whenever I come to Hakata, I always feel like eating it. However, when I come to Hakata, I also want to try other things and haven't been able to go. This time, it was relatively easy to choose a time between work, so I visited. Thank you for the meal.

"Tamagokake Gohan at Uchi no Tamago, located in the underground of Haneda Airport Terminal 1, is a great deal at 590 yen for two eggs and unlimited rice refills. It's quick and easy to eat, and they offer two types of soy sauce for seasoning - one for tamagokake gohan and one for dashi soy sauce. Highly recommended!"

It is located at the main entrance of Hakata Station. It seems to be operated by a subsidiary of JR Kyushu. They serve dishes made with eggs from their own chicken farm. The price for a single order of Oyakodon is 780 yen. Both Oyakodon and Tamagokake Gohan are served quickly. The interior has a counter and small tables, and it is not a place to relax, so the turnover is fast. The taste of the Oyakodon was average, with no particular standout features. Considering the location, the price is reasonable. It was convenient as the train was only 20 minutes away when in a hurry. Thank you for the meal.

Breakfast set for 490 yen, including rice, egg, miso soup, and pickles, is a great deal for less than a coin! Most places were not open around 8 in the morning, so I was relieved to find this place. The rice was average, but the egg was delicious and the miso soup had a comforting taste. It would be even better if we could have freshly cooked rice.

I love tamago kake gohan so much that I went to Hakata Station early in the morning. This wasn't my first time at our egg direct sales store, as I had been to Haneda Airport before. I didn't feel satisfied with just one bowl, so I had a second helping. For breakfast, tamago kake gohan with miso soup is the best. If you're looking for breakfast near Hakata Station, I recommend it.

I wanted to have a hearty breakfast before going on a business trip, so I visited this place. The interior has 3 table seats and a small counter, so there may be lines depending on the time, but the turnover is fast so the waiting time is short. The breakfast menu consists of only egg over rice! From 11 o'clock, they also offer oyakodon in addition to egg over rice! (The oyakodon is delicious too, so definitely try it.) The food is served quickly, which is great for those who are hungry. The meal includes rice, egg, miso soup, and pickles. It's simple but feels luxurious. I feel grateful to live in a country where I can eat raw eggs. The eggs are fresh and the rice is cooked perfectly. I ordered a large portion and finished it easily. With the superfood egg, I can start my day full of energy and joy.

#My Egg Oyakodon#During a visit to Hakata for errands, it was lunchtime and I thought all the ramen shops would be crowded, so I chose My Egg. The Oyakodon was fluffy and delicious. I tried to add an extra egg to my bowl, but accidentally dropped it on the edge instead of the center, haha. The restaurant has a small number of seats, but the service is quick and the turnover rate is relatively high, making it a convenient option for a quick lunch near Hakata Station. Thank you for the meal! #Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City#Hakata Station Central Street#Hakata Station#Oyakodon#Hakata Station Gourmet

I have used Uchi no Tamago in Haneda before, and this time I tried it for the first time during a layover in Hakata. The restaurant is not very big, so it can get crowded with people lining up, but today it was okay. I ordered the parent and child bowl with extra rice. After a short wait, it was served with pickled radish on a plate. The essence of Uchi no Tamago, the healthy eggs from Uchino Poultry Farm in Iizuka City, Fukuoka, were soft and runny, making the rice soaked in egg... or rather, it turned into a kind of egg rice dish. The sweet and salty broth, the gently cooked egg, and the firm texture of Mitsuse chicken meat all came together to make a delicious parent and child bowl. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was delicious. Even when you're short on time, eating something delicious makes you feel like you've gained something. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant serves egg over rice for breakfast. Waited until 11 am and ordered oyakodon. The broth was plentiful and it was enjoyable to drink it. Sprinkled with soy sauce supervised by Michelin(?). Added half portion of Fukuya's mentaiko for 100 yen. (Ate it separately) The miso soup had a nice texture with vegetables and mushrooms, very delicious! Personally, I didn't need the chicken. I was curious about the pure taste of the egg, so next time I'll try the tamago don. Thank you for the meal! Highly recommended!
