Ding's @ Umeda #Lucua Osaka #Baltika is a restaurant I often visit! Ding's at Lucua Baltika! I've introduced it before, but this is a shop where the top dim sum master and head chef of the popular xiaolongbao restaurant Jing Ding Lou in Taiwan developed "winged pan-fried xiaolongbao" for Japanese who love pan-fried dumplings. I ordered the simple xiaolongbao this time since I've tried the winged xiaolongbao before! It comes in a steamer with 4 pieces per serving. As expected, it's delicious! The richness of the meat juice and the accent of needle ginger are irresistible. One serving is not enough, and if you're a man, you can easily have two servings. I also ordered the oil-splashed chicken and daikon mochi! By the way, the peanuts are a complimentary appetizer. I ate a lot without hesitation. It's a user-friendly restaurant where you can easily go on a date, with friends, colleagues, or seniors, so please try it out. This was a recommendation from Lucua official ambassador #LucuaNista. #Ding #Ding's #OsakaGourmet #UmedaGourmet #KansaiGourmet #UmedaIzakaya #OsakaGourmetClub #UmedaChinese #UmedaLunch #lucua #lucua1100 #Lucua #LucuaBaltika #LucuaLunch #OsakaLunch #MustEatMenu #CheapAndDeliciousGourmet #CleverRestaurant #MustEatDishes #FoodReportGram #FoodieGirls #WantToConnectWithFoodies #IwamiFoodReport

I visited this restaurant for the first time because I wanted to have dim sum and have a drink at lunchtime, and it is conveniently located near the station. It was around 1:30 pm, a bit late for lunch, but about half of the seats were already taken, and more customers arrived later, so making a reservation is reassuring. You can have a drink at lunch for 330 yen, and there are several types of alcohol available, but the taste was a bit light. The chicken soup dumplings were not very hot, so they were more delicious when steamed in a bamboo steamer. The soup inside the chicken soup dumplings had a very delicious taste, and it was nice to have it at the end to warm up. There is also a lunch menu available, but this time I wanted to enjoy various dim sum and appetizers and have some drinks, so the price was a bit high.

"At Ding's Lukua Osaka in Umeda, Osaka, there are a variety of xiaolongbao to choose from, including cheese-filled and iron plate xiaolongbao. The meat juice was plentiful and delicious. The steamed peanuts served as an appetizer were a new and enjoyable experience. Overall, a fun place to visit with friends for some delicious xiaolongbao in Osaka."

Located on the B2 floor of Lucua at Osaka Station, this restaurant is a great option for lunch. Around 12:00 on weekdays, popular ramen, curry, and oden shops have long lines. I wandered around unsure of where to eat, and ended up at this place. The interior is quite spacious, with only about two groups of customers already seated. I was told to choose any seat I liked. The lunch sets seem quite varied, but they all seem to come with noodles as a base. You can place your order using the tablet at your table.
I chose the "Satisfied Set" for ¥1050, which included tantanmen and mapo don. Both dishes were served in about 10 minutes. The tantanmen was not very spicy, but quite rich. The mapo don was pretty spicy! I ended up sweating. It seemed like they accept payment through PayPay, but since it wasn't clearly stated, I paid in cash. They seem to recommend the xiaolongbao, which I didn't try this time, but I might next time. It's easy to dine alone here, and I left feeling satisfied. A good choice for when you're indecisive about lunch. Thank you for the meal! (*´ω`*)

I visited the restaurant around 12:30 on Thursday. The seating was about 20% full. It's relatively quiet during lunch on weekdays. I love tantanmen and mapo tofu, so the set of tantanmen + mini mapo rice bowl is perfect for me. The tantanmen has a mild spiciness and a flavorful soup. The noodles are especially delicious. The mapo tofu is slightly spicy but even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy it. It's a lunch that makes you want to eat it over and over again. Thank you for the meal.

Taiwanese restaurant in the basement of Bar LUCUA at Osaka Station. I ordered a Taiwanese beer, which was unique since I haven't been to Taiwan yet. I also ordered the famous grilled xiaolongbao with wings. The menu is ordered via a touch panel. They served peanuts while waiting at the table, but there seems to be an additional charge of 280 yen for the appetizer. Since it has wings, you cut the wings with a pizza cutter before eating. I had a feeling that the wings were unnecessary. The xiaolongbao was delicious with plenty of juicy meat inside. It was a bit difficult to eat with the wings attached. The Taiwanese beer had a bitter taste and was delicious.

It seems like a recently opened shop in Barchika, and it was my first visit. It is a chain store that is quite popular nationwide. Since it was the weekend, all the izakaya places had long waiting times, but this place was relatively short so we were able to get in after a short wait. The seating was tight and the atmosphere was lively, just like a local food stall. The food seemed to appeal to women, as about 60-70% of the customers were female. The concept is a Taiwanese-style izakaya. We started with a toast with Taiwanese beer. For the second round, we ordered the "Otokomae Jock" which was a large mug that could fit a lot of highballs or chu-hi drinks. After having two highballs, I was feeling quite tipsy. The food was decent in quality and the menu had a wide variety of options. We tried the xiaolongbao, which wasn't piping hot but had a delicious soup inside. The straw-wrapped fried chicken had a good kick of spice. The mapo tofu had a flavorful spiciness. The shrimp mayo had slightly small shrimp but was still satisfying. The potato salad, french fries, and the dan dan noodles for the finale were average. However, the boiled peanuts that came as a complimentary appetizer were not great - if they're going to charge for it, it's unnecessary. Just regular edamame would be fine. The staff was efficient and it was nice to see them moving around quickly. Overall, it's a place where you can easily enjoy Taiwanese atmosphere and cuisine.

I was eating xiaolongbao relentlessly!! There are various types such as fried, steamed, and with wings, so it was very delicious!! Personally, I liked the steamed and fried ones! There are also many types of dumplings, so I want to try attacking dumplings next time. Also, there is Chinchirorin, and the handsome jug is big but feels like a good deal. The Highball is so strong that it was amazing. If you're not good with Highballs, you'll be done after just one. I want to go again.

After having a full meal at a red and white lunch drink, I walked around and noticed that while other shops were busy, this one was empty so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a highball for 88 yen and after a while, the man asked "What's your order?" I said "I'm good" and he replied "No! We have a one order policy!" I was already full from lunch, so if I had known about the one order policy, I wouldn't have come in... I reluctantly ordered a few items, all of which were just okay. I understood why the place was empty. When I left, I checked again, but there was still no mention of the one order policy. I doubt I will come back to this place.

I went to the restaurant for the first time. The food was really delicious. The restaurant was quite busy too. By the time I left, it was full. I would like to visit again and eat xiaolongbao, dumplings, and have a drink. The Taiwanese beer had various flavors and was delicious.

While walking around Lucua Osaka, I came across a popular spot selling delicious-looking soup dumplings with wings. There was a line, but I decided to wait. Although the winged dumplings looked tempting, I was curious about the pan-fried soup dumplings. I started with some peanuts and ginger ale for a toast. The peanuts were soft and moist, with a sophisticated flavor. Then, the pan-fried soup dumplings arrived. The sear on the bottom was just right. I gently broke the skin on the spoon, sipped the soup, and enjoyed the delicate aroma. I savored the dish with vinegar, chili oil, and black vinegar. I thought about trying the famous winged dumplings and the hot and sour noodles next time. I'll definitely be back!

During Golden Week, I went to Umeda for a day out. For lunch, I decided to try Bar Chika at Lucua. It was around 11:30 am, so many popular restaurants had long lines. Luckily, I found a seat available and had lunch there. I chose a set meal which came with a choice of noodles or rice, along with chicken soup dumplings and oil-splashed chicken. I picked Hong Kong-style shrimp wonton and mapo tofu rice bowl. The shrimp wonton soup was light but flavorful, and the slightly spicy mapo tofu rice bowl was also delicious and filling.

I ordered the chicken soup dumplings, chicken dumplings, boiled dumplings, and sambal noodles individually. It cost 1,275 yen for one person. It's about the same as the lunch set. All of them were quite voluminous and delicious! The sambal noodles were served with a sauce (similar to Tianjin noodles) and were a bit spicy, but the thin noodles were smooth and easy to eat. It was delicious! The soy sauce was on the sweeter side, which paired well with the boiled dumplings. The chicken soup dumplings were eaten with miso, which also worked well together. I was able to enter the restaurant quickly without waiting in line on a Sunday at 11:00.

I usually enjoy all-you-can-eat soup dumplings. It's a one-hour time limit with a one-drink minimum. It takes about 10 minutes to steam, so I planned my order accordingly. There was plenty of ginger, and I enjoyed both steamed and pan-fried dumplings until I was full!

On a regular day, I had lunch at Lucua Osaka and tried the lunch set at Lurohan. The flavor was not too strong and really delicious! The grilled xiaolongbao was also amazing. The menu is diverse and very good. There were also many people drinking alcohol in the afternoon. I received pineapple cakes as souvenirs.

I had beer, tantanmen, and grilled xiaolongbao. To be honest, the flavors were not to my liking. One thing that bothered me was the staff. There were so many of them, but they didn't come over when I called for them due to a tablet error or when I asked for the bill. I made eye contact, but they didn't come over at all, so I won't be going back.

Located 3-5 minutes walk from Osaka Station, Ding's Lukua Osaka store is a popular Chinese restaurant known for its wing-tipped grilled xiaolongbao. The restaurant, located in the Balchika on the 2nd floor of LUCUA, is always bustling with customers, with long lines forming on weekends. Orders are placed using panels, making it easy to choose dishes and drinks with clear prices. This time, we tried the iron plate grilled xiaolongbao, wing-tipped xiaolongbao, five-spice spring rolls, Taiwanese shrimp mayo, green salad, and steamed fried rice. The grilled xiaolongbao, a specialty dish, has a fragrant crispy skin and a delicious soup that overflows from inside, making it enjoyable even without any sauce, but dipping it in vinegar soy sauce or vinegar miso enhances the flavor even more. The shrimp mayo with a sweet mayonnaise sauce and the hot spring rolls filled with plenty of bamboo shoots were also excellent! This popular restaurant offers more Taiwanese cuisine than traditional Chinese cuisine, so be sure to visit and enjoy. Thank you for the meal!

Mapo ramen + winged grilled xiaolongbao lunch set for 1100 yen. Day drinking set: draft beer for 300 yen, highball for 88 yen (limited from 11am to 6pm). Fully touch panel ordering system. The winged xiaolongbao comes with a special vinegar miso sauce on the wings, making it easy to eat as the filling is not too hot. The vinegar miso sauce is delicious. There is also a 60-minute all-you-can-eat xiaolongbao option for 990 yen, which I would like to try next time. The easy-to-eat xiaolongbao makes it seem like I could eat quite a few. The mapo ramen has a slightly thick and smooth soup with a mild spiciness that is easy to eat, likely tailored for Japanese taste with a subtle amount of Sichuan pepper. The minced meat is plentiful, and there is a lot of tofu. The noodles are thin and smooth.

I love Asian-style street food stalls! I had a lunch set! Wow, Xiao Long Bao! What's with this crispy texture! I love crispy things so this is fun! Yummy portion of Oil-Blanched Chicken! Just the right amount! Dan Dan noodles! Good level of spiciness. It was delicious! I'm full! There are seats where you can put your belongings inside, but the lid isn't attached, so everyone keeps dropping it, which is a bit surprising (laughs). It would be nice to have a little note or something for that! (Maybe there was one and I missed it? Sorry if that's the case!) It's convenient to be able to store your belongings! Looks like it would be fun at night too! I want to go again!

When I had it before, it was hot and delicious, but this time it was lukewarm from the moment it was brought to me and lacked the hotness of the baked soup dumplings. The skin was also not crispy enough and lacked the desired golden brown color. It seemed like the lunch was pre-made, which was a bit disappointing.

The second stop on our food tour is this dim sum restaurant! We ordered the famous chicken wing soup dumplings and chicken wing dumplings. Normally, soup dumplings are filled with lots of broth and you slurp it up with a spoon, so I thought the wings would be a hindrance, and they were indeed a hindrance, haha. Since these were baked, there was less broth than usual. It was delicious but a bit disappointing. The dumplings were as expected. Thank you for the meal.
