Located on the fourth floor of Abeno Q's Mall, the restaurant has a very calm atmosphere and the staff's customer service is excellent. The tonkatsu is consistently delicious, and ordering a set meal allows for unlimited refills of rice, miso soup, salad, and curry. You can also enjoy pomegranate juice and coffee. I would definitely like to visit again.

I went to KYK for the first time in a while. It was my first time at the Abeno Q's Mall store. I arrived a little before 4 pm and there were few customers, so I was able to get in without waiting. This time, I ordered the domestic pork cutlet set (110g). For an additional 100 yen, you can have all-you-can-eat curry. I usually love the curry from their affiliated restaurant, San Marco Curry, and often get it to go. The all-you-can-eat curry that day was Keema Curry. The curry changes daily, as I remember it being Shrimp Curry at the Kyoto-Kobe Kyobashi store about 3 years ago. Previously, they had a salad bar, but now you can ask the staff for cabbage and miso soup. The set includes curry, rice, and a drink bar. There are also several types of dressings available. The set also comes with a side dish and pickles. The tonkatsu was undeniably delicious, and the curry was also tasty. There is no time limit, so I was able to relax and enjoy my meal.

I ordered shrimp and fish cutlet curry. The slightly spicy curry from the kyk group is consistently delicious. It's impressive to have this level of quality at a chain restaurant. The pickles, pineapple, iced coffee, and original dressing were all delicious. The slim young man who served us was very polite. Also, the family at the next table spilled quite a bit of food on the floor, but the staff who handled it did so with a smile and quickly cleaned it up. Excellent service.

I was expecting a crispier batter. The sauce was lacking and the shredded cabbage was too soggy. It would have been better if it was drained more. Despite the delicious pork loin, I felt disappointed. Half of it was covered in sauce. The other half I ate with the all-you-can-eat curry, but I didn't feel satisfied. Oh, the curry was good with minced meat, giving it a cheesy flavor. Please try it out.

I went to the restaurant located on the 4th floor of Abeno Q's Mall at 3:08. I arrived around 12:30 and about 70% of the customers were there, so I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered the limited quantity Rosu Katsu set meal for about 1000 yen. For an additional 100 yen, you can have all-you-can-eat curry. The meal also comes with rice, pickles, cabbage, and miso soup. The taste was average. The service was polite. The drink bar for an additional 100 yen included detox water, among other options.

I had the Seven Lucky Roll Tonkatsu Set with all-you-can-eat curry. The spiciness was quite strong, but the flavor and depth were lacking, which was disappointing. The spiciness is quite intense, so I don't think children would be able to eat the curry. The taste was average for the price, making it feel expensive. The staff's customer service was very good, and I would like to come back again.

For Kansai people, the name KYK is very familiar from TV commercials! After a long time, I felt like eating tonkatsu, or rather, a buffet-style place where you can eat curry for free caught my attention. So, I visited a restaurant in a large commercial facility alone, as I was the only one interested in tonkatsu (sorry). Today was a special service menu called "9's Day", so I ordered the Roast Tonkatsu Set for 990 yen (tax included). Luckily, it was the 19th, and the tonkatsu portion was 110g. The tonkatsu had a good thickness and plenty of fat, and the coating was crispy. I asked about the order buffet menu on the table, and it turned out they had switched to table orders to avoid contact in these times. I felt a bit embarrassed to keep ordering as I was alone, but I was determined to enjoy it (that was the purpose after all). I was looking forward to the curry, which had a bit of mushroom, a bit of minced meat, and plenty of yogurt - overall, it seemed healthy, like something kids would enjoy (I kind of expected that). I still got a refill of the curry, and also tried the daikon radish and seaweed salad that didn't come out initially. I also had a cup of coffee after the meal. Personally, I was satisfied as it was delicious and I could relax. Thank you for the meal on this Sunday at 3 PM. As a side note, the coffee tasted like it was from a certain coffee shop chain. Hmm...

I stopped by KYK on the southern corner of the 4th floor restaurant area (Q's dining) at Abeno Q's MALL to have lunch before work. The interior of the restaurant is modern and chic, with a calm atmosphere that is not typical of a tonkatsu restaurant. There are a total of 60 table seats, all non-smoking. In the middle of the restaurant, there is a buffet with fresh vegetables and two types of curry. This time, I decided to try the "Stuffed Cabbage Meal" (1,340 yen) for a change. A plate of shredded cabbage was brought to me first. After quickly finishing the cabbage, I headed to the buffet corner to get some fresh vegetables. The salad ingredients included cabbage, daikon radish, green beans, corn, tomatoes, and more. The colors were vibrant. I topped it off with a generous amount of creamy dressing from the buffet corner. Soon after, the stuffed cabbage plate, shrimp cutlet plate, rice, and miso soup arrived. The stuffed cabbage consisted of two normal-sized rolls generously covered in tomato sauce. They were tender and easy to cut with a fish knife. The combination of beef mince and cream cheese rolled together created a rich and aromatic flavor. The acidity of the tomato sauce paired well with it. The shrimp cutlet came with a lemon wedge. The cut surface had a slight pink hue. The crispy coating and juicy shrimp inside provided a delightful texture. I personally preferred it without the rich tonkatsu sauce from KYK. Lastly, I tried the curry from the buffet. There were two types of curry sauce: "Vegetable Bouillon" and "Shrimp". I arranged the rice in a line on my plate and poured each sauce on either side to create a "mixed" effect. While the flavors of the curries differed slightly, they both showcased a natural sweetness from the ingredients and a prominent spice blend, making them high-quality curries. As expected from KYK, which has the affiliated restaurant "San Marco", the curry quality was outstanding. Next time, I might try the pork cutlet and make a mini cutlet curry with this sauce.

When it comes to tonkatsu, it's KYK~! I've been to the Kyu's Mall store many times! This store offers all-you-can-eat side dishes like salad and curry!! Of course, you can also have unlimited refills of rice and miso soup (๑´ڡ`๑) Unlimited refills are so appealing, right?! Especially recommended for growing kids and students! The curry is spicy and perfect, and the ultimate combination is rice → salad → tonkatsu → curry on top, creating the ultimate katsu salad curry (・∀・)キリッ Highly recommended!!!

I had some errands in Abeno and decided to go to KYK in Q's Mall because I was craving tonkatsu. The fried oysters were already being served, so I ordered them right away. Each oyster was big and delicious, and the pork cutlet was consistently tasty as well. Personally, I don't like fatty tonkatsu, but I can eat the ones from KYK and another favorite restaurant of mine. It's strange, isn't it? (゜▽゜)

After a long time, I went shopping with my wife and we decided to stop by for lunch. It was crowded during lunchtime, so we had to wait for 20 minutes with our name written down before being seated. I ordered the pork cutlet and egg hot pot, which took some time to be served, but the salad was all-you-can-eat so my wife and I enjoyed it. The pork cutlet and egg hot pot were as expected, the taste was also as expected, so we were able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. Chain restaurants are indeed reassuring to dine in. (^_^;)
