This is a yakitori restaurant located next to Yodobashi Umeda, in Links Umeda. ・Amazingly cooked yakitori ・Choose from 3 types of beer for 385 yen! ・Complimentary appetizers included, but it's a good deal considering the location.■■■ Restaurant ■■■I was intrigued by the 385 yen large bottle of beer! LINKS UMEDA is quite popular, isn't it? It was almost full on a Sunday around 2 o'clock. Some places have long lines. However, it's quite narrow inside. The counter and seating spaces are cramped. The staff is energetic! They come right over when you lift your head from the menu, so it seems like they are well-trained.■■■ Food ■■■▼Kashiwa (3 skewers) 242 yen (220 yen + tax) (as of October 22)It took over 10 minutes to arrive. This is tough parent bird meat! I don't think "kashiwa" means that in this context though (laughs). It's a bit bitter due to the charcoal, but the texture, umami, and bitterness go well with beer. The portion is small, more like 2 skewers' worth. Still, it feels like a good deal.▼Kokoro (3 skewers) 330 yen (300 yen + tax)The texture is still firm, and the cooking is amazing! The cooking here is superb. So I thought about trying the liver... but this parent bird seems like it would be delicious grilled, so I'll go with that.▼Satsuma Jidori Grilled Chicken 858 yen (780 yen + tax)It arrived emitting a lot of steam from a mini Dutch oven (?)! The staff said, "It's very hot, be careful!" while lifting the lid with their hands, which surprised me (laughs). The lid seems to have been placed after cooking (laughs). It's like a miso stew. The chicken is medium rare, with both tough and tender parts, including breast meat. It's quite delicious with a salty flavor and a nice aroma. Yuzu pepper is also included. The onions are surprisingly tasty! I thought they were just there to prevent the chicken from being overcooked, but they add a lot of flavor due to the chicken oil.■■■ Drinks ■■■▼Large bottle 385 yen (350 yen + tax) (as of October 22)You can choose from 3 types of beer. Well, if I had to choose, it would be Super Dry. Craft beers range from 660 yen to 935 yen, which is expensive, but some people might order them as they start to feel tipsy.■■■ Closing Comments ■■■I was curious about the firefly squid kimchi, but I decided to stop after a bit more yakitori and one beer (laughs). The total bill was 2145 yen! It was cheap! This is an amazing price in the middle of Umeda. It's cramped, but it's just right for having a beer, eating a bit, and leaving. Oh, is this like the old-fashioned way of enjoying the alleyways!? I see, so it's become that kind of enjoyment. Despite that, it seems convenient for families with children. It's non-smoking. Having 3 skewers each might be inconvenient for solo diners, but it seems good for a second stop. Thank you for the meal.
