I enjoyed Kanazawa curry for the first time in 5 years. I haven't been to Kanazawa recently, so I had it outside the prefecture after a long time. Served on a silver plate with a fork, the thick curry roux, topped with sauce on the cutlet, and cabbage on the side! Yes, these are the features of Kanazawa curry. The BGM in the restaurant (Go Go Curry song) somehow made me feel nostalgic. Thank you for the meal.

Today, for my second lunch, I reluctantly ordered a regular size curry instead of the large one that I usually get, as my wife, who can eat more than me, said it was too much. It was my first time at this place, so I decided to just order the curry by itself. After sitting down, I realized I had accidentally ordered the Major Curry, which is 2.5 kilograms! I knew I couldn't finish it today, so I had to save it for next time. It was delicious!

I visited Gogo Curry for the first time, a place known for its generous toppings. I ordered the medium size Major Curry, which was packed with toppings to the point where I couldn't see the rice! The shredded cabbage on top was interesting. It might be overwhelming with all the fried items, especially for those over middle age. The cabbage helped balance it out a bit. The curry has a unique flavor, so it may be a hit or miss for some people. It's not too spicy and the broth flavor is subtle.

I felt that the curry for 750 yen had good cost performance. Kanazawa curry is served with sauce katsu, eaten with a fork, on a metal plate, with cabbage, and a thick curry roux. The curry is delicious, and the combination of cabbage and katsu is really good.

Gogo Curry in Sakai East, Osaka, located next to the city hall, finally went there after it opened about 2 years ago! I couldn't decide between the pork cutlet curry and the hamburger, but ended up choosing the hamburger! The curry comes with cabbage, hamburger, and a fried egg, which is the Gogo style. The sauce was a bit on the rich side. The hamburger seemed to be fried. I think it would be delicious to take out the sauce and make curry udon with it.

I used to visit this place often when I had business trips to Tokyo, but I haven't been there much lately. They have opened a branch in Osaka, so I decided to visit. I always remember their impressive platter of fried food, but this time I chose the Loco Moco Curry. The curry, Kanazawa-style with cabbage, was really delicious. By the way, I have never been to Gogo in Kanazawa. I have been to Champion, though.

I visited Gogo Curry, a place I had wanted to go for a while. I ordered the classic Rosukatsu Curry. They offer small, medium, and large sizes, but due to my age and weak stomach, I chose the small size (200g). The curry was mild and sweet. The Rosukatsu, topped with a sweet and spicy sauce and crunchy cabbage, was delicious. The meat was a bit tough but crispy, and it went well with the sweet and spicy sauce and curry roux. Eating the cabbage, Rosukatsu, and curry together was a straightforward and tasty combination. As I ate, I thought to myself, "So this is Kanazawa curry!" It was delicious!

Located a 5-minute walk from Sakai Higashi Station, "Go Go Curry" is a curry restaurant originating from Kanazawa. The medium-sized pork cutlet curry costs 800 yen (with 300g of rice). Go Go Curry is known for its thick and creamy curry sauce, served with cabbage on the side and eaten with a unique spoon. The curry is not spicy, but rich and flavorful. The pork cutlet is thinly sliced and easy to eat. The rice is firm and complements the curry well. I left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I had some errands in Sakai East and was looking for a place near the station where I could grab a quick dinner by myself. I decided to visit Go Go Curry, a place I had been curious about for a while. While I knew of its existence, there aren't many branches in Kansai so it's a bit of a rare find. I debated between the Pork Cutlet Curry and the Chicken Cutlet Curry, but I was worried about feeling too heavy so I went with the Chicken Cutlet Curry for 800 yen. It wasn't bad, but I personally didn't really enjoy the thick and saucy Kanazawa Curry style. I prefer the lighter sauce of Juhachi Ban Curry. The cost performance is decent, so I would use it as a go-to option when I'm in a pinch around the station.

"I came to have the Rosukatsu Curry (medium size for 800 yen) here (≧∇≦) Lunch meeting ended and it's already 2:30 pm. Since I came all the way to Sakai Higashi, I thought of trying out some other lunch spots like Hidamari-an or Grill to Me, but when I searched, I found out they all finish lunch by 2:30... So, I decided to settle for Go Go Curry across from Komeda's. I ordered the classic Rosukatsu Curry in medium size and let's see how it goes... Oh, they have Kanazawa Curry here~ I'm totally fine with the cabbage topping, and here you can get unlimited refills of cabbage♪ The dish arrived☆彡 It has a typical chain restaurant vibe... but surprisingly, it tastes pretty good♪ The katsu is thin but enjoyable, and I might even like the curry more than Nihon-ya's. The prices are reasonable, and if they had more branches in Osaka, I would definitely come back for more♪ Maybe they should consider opening more stores in Osaka, don't you think?"

I went to the Kanazawa curry restaurant "Go Go Curry" that opened in Sakai East. It operates on a pre-payment ticket system. The chicken cutlet and pork cutlet were priced the same. They also sell retort curry, which I have tried before. It comes in a pack of 2 with plenty of sauce, making it a good deal. Pickled radish (50 yen), Large Pork Cutlet (900 yen), Small Pork Cutlet (750 yen). It is said that Kanazawa curry is eaten with a fork. The curry sauce is rich and not too spicy. Although the sauce portion is small, you can add more sauce if you like. The crispy cutlet has a light texture and tastes like a snack. The fluffy cabbage for refills was free.

This time, I visited "Go Go Curry," located about a 3-minute walk from Nankai Dentetsu Sakai Higashi Station. My companion had fed me retort curry in the past, but this was my first time coming to eat at the restaurant directly. The place is all yellow inside and out, reminding me of the Kiranger from the Gorenger series (old school!). The menu offers various options like Pork Cutlet Curry, Chicken Cutlet Curry, and Sausage Curry. I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry in large size (900 yen) with pickled radish (50 yen). The curry plate that arrived was made of stainless steel, which is a nice touch. On top of the curry was a large pork cutlet, and next to it was a mound of shredded cabbage. When eating the curry, a fork is used instead of a spoon, which is the Kanazawa way. Now, let's dig in... Hmm, it's just delicious. The pork cutlet has a crispy coating, but you can't really feel the meat fibers. Perhaps the meat is too thin, considering the optional price is 250 yen. This price point is understandable, as it seems they want you to enjoy it with various toppings. However, if you think of it as eating a "Big Cutlet" snack on top, it's not too bad. It's like junk food. In terms of the curry flavor, they've done a good job of balancing it. This is something you can say about CoCo Ichibanya as well; it's a taste that appeals to everyone. It's not too spicy, so even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy it. Well, thank you for the meal~.

On Sunday, my wife and I went to Sakai Higashi for lunch. We were aiming for udon, but it was temporarily closed. I remembered that there was a Go Go Curry in Kanazawa, so we headed there instead. Next to it was Kirinji, a tsukemen shop, and although I hesitated a bit, we decided to try Go Go Curry since we had never eaten there before. Inside the entrance, there was a ticket machine where we selected our menu items. My wife chose the pork cutlet curry for 800 yen, and I chose the chicken cutlet curry for 800 yen, adding pickled radish for 50 yen. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The curry sauce was dark and surprisingly tangy. It was a rich, mature curry with a moderate level of spiciness. The cutlet had sauce on it, adding to the tangy flavor. We enjoyed combining the curry, rice, and cutlet, along with the cabbage. It felt like there wasn't enough curry sauce, and the 300g of rice was quite a lot. The unlimited servings of fukujinzuke were helpful. In the end, we finished everything by eating the rice, fukujinzuke, and cabbage together. It was a hearty meal that might appeal to younger people. It's definitely a soul food from Kanazawa. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited the Sakai City Hall, I found a unique curry restaurant and decided to try it out! Hmm, it was not what I typically think of when it comes to curry, but it was delicious! I was happy that the cabbage was served separately. The curry had a strong spice flavor, so it wasn't like a drink. Thank you so much. Grateful!

I felt like eating it after a long time and ended up visiting. The Go Go Curry that I had in Kanazawa can also be enjoyed in Sakai Higashi. My impression is that the Go Go Curry in Kanazawa had an additional element of the local atmosphere. It was delicious, but I also felt like it lacked a bit of punch.

I traveled alone in Hokuriku over 10 years ago and came across an interesting shop. It was a gorilla-themed restaurant like the one in the picture! Despite feeling a bit anxious on my solo trip with no one to rely on, I approached the sign and discovered that it was a curry restaurant! I remember being surprised by the delicious and unique curry I had there with my hungry stomach! It's called Kanazawa Curry, which has a history of over 50 years. The curry has a deep, almost black color with a hint of spiciness that is incredibly tasty! If you don't like spicy food, you can make it mild for an extra 100 yen. They also provide slightly sweet Fukujinzuke on the table to help balance the flavors. The main difference from regular curry is that the sauce is poured over the pork cutlet in Katsu Curry. The pork cutlet is tender and thinly sliced, making it easy to eat! Go Go Curry is truly a source of energy! The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with background music and videos playing. You need to purchase a meal ticket from the machine before ordering. There is no parking lot, so you should park at a nearby parking area. Despite not having many opportunities to eat there, the nostalgia and deliciousness remain unchanged. If I come across it again, I would love to have it once more! It may even be near your home, so try searching for it!

This is a review of a curry restaurant called "Go Go Curry" located in Sakai City, just south of Sakaihigashi Station on the Nankai Koya Line. The restaurant opened last June (2021) in a space that used to be a Yoshinoya. The interior has about 30 seats, including counter and table seating. I decided to try their signature dish, the "Rosukatsu Curry" (800 yen), which features a generous portion of curry sauce covering rice, topped with shredded cabbage and a pork cutlet. The curry sauce is not too spicy, with a rich and slightly thick flavor. The pork cutlet is thinly sliced and easy to eat with a fork. The rice is soft and slightly sticky. Overall, the curry has a nostalgic taste reminiscent of old-school western-style curry. The restaurant seems to be looking to expand as they have franchise recruitment commercials playing on the TV inside, which can be a bit annoying.

This is my first visit! I felt like eating curry for lunch, so I decided to visit Kanazawa Curry. I had high expectations as I went in. The flavor of the curry sauce and the crispiness of the pork cutlet were really good. However, the curry sauce was lukewarm and the rice had a strange smell, which was disappointing. If they improve on these points, I think more customers would visit. It would also be nice if they provided spoons. But considering it's in Kanazawa, I understand the saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." The taste was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a rosukatsu and ebi fry with a small portion of rice. The fried items were crispy, and the curry was different from the one I had in Kanazawa - it was sweet without much spice. It had a rich flavor and was delicious in its own way! I heard that you can adjust the spiciness, and the small portion of rice was 200g while the regular portion was 300g. I felt like there was less curry sauce than I expected, so it might be good to get extra sauce next time! I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area!

I found an impactful gorilla sign around the area past Sakai City Hall while walking south on the main street from Sakai Higashi Station. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was the famous Kanazawa curry restaurant, Go Go Curry. Since I had never tried Kanazawa curry before, I was drawn inside. The ordering system was through a ticket machine, so I purchased a standard dish, the Hire Katsu Curry (medium size, 800 yen). The curry was served to me within a minute of ordering, which was surprisingly fast. Kanazawa curry is eaten with a fork rather than a spoon, which I knew from seeing it on TV. The curry was average, but the rice was dry and not very tasty. I ended up focusing on the crispy katsu and fresh cabbage, which were delicious. After finishing my meal, I thanked the staff and left the restaurant, although they did not react. It was a disappointing experience with curry that didn't suit my taste and unfriendly staff. I felt sorry for intruding.
