In November 2018, I visited Yanaduki located inside Big House in Shibetsu Town. The store is conveniently located next to large stores such as Uniqlo, Daiso, and Homac Tsurla, so the parking lot is very spacious and easy to use. I couldn't resist buying cakes and puddings while shopping, and both were delicious! Thank you for the meal.

While reading other reviews, I felt like trying out some food, so I stopped by Yurizuki for their "Baked Sweet Potato Choux." I was a bit hesitant at first because my son can't eat cream, but if it's sweet potato flavor, he should be able to enjoy it. The baked sweet potato shape looked enticing, so I gave in to my cravings and made the purchase. In addition to the choux, I also bought "Sweet Potato Pie," "Autumn Kurupizza," "Kinpira Senbei," "Autumn Maple Red Bean Bun," and "Northern Friendship Azuki Halloween." The packaging of the Northern Friendship bun was Halloween-themed and cute, so I couldn't resist. I've tried it a few times and it's always delicious. The Baked Sweet Potato Choux had a crispy choux pastry with a sesame topping, and the cream inside had a strong sweet potato flavor. I was relieved that my son could eat it. The Sweet Potato Pie had a moist top but a crumbly interior, making it a bit difficult to eat. The Autumn Kurupizza was topped with cheese and ketchup, giving it a unique sweet and savory taste. The Kinpira Senbei was a thin and crispy rice cracker with a sweet and salty flavor, along with a hint of spiciness and sesame seeds. The Autumn Maple Red Bean Bun had a pink dough with white sesame seeds and a delicious shiso flavor. The Azuki Halloween bun had a fluffy pie crust and a sweet red bean filling. After finishing the Halloween season, I wonder what new products they will release for Christmas. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★⑥ Despite the autumn-themed chestnuts and pumpkins on display, I decided to go against the grain and purchased a different item. The Tsukifuwari caught my eye with its moon-viewing packaging, so I got that along with the Sanpuro Choco & Macadamia Nuts, Sanpuro White Choco & Cheese, and Fukkura Kanoko. I've tried the latter before, but this is my first review. The Sanpuro Choco & Macadamia Nuts had a moist cookie with thin chocolate and finely chopped macadamia nuts, providing a soft texture followed by a crunchy bite. I wish there were more nuts, but it's still delicious, so I keep buying it. The Sanpuro White Choco & Cheese featured a cheese-flavored cookie with white chocolate drizzle and sugar crystals on top, offering a crunchy texture with a hint of sweetness.

Yanagi Tsuki is a pastry shop based in Obihiro. They offer delicious cakes and sweets at affordable prices (around 200 yen per piece), making it highly recommended. In addition to cakes, they have a variety of tasty sweets that are convenient for souvenirs. The cakes are all delicious, with seasonal limited editions available. One of my personal favorites aside from cakes is the Sanpuroku, a Baumkuchen coated in chocolate. There are three types of Sanpuroku: regular, Kaitaku Sanpuroku Chocolat, and Kaitaku Sanpuroku Maple. I recently tried the Maple flavor after seeing a commercial, and it was delicious, with the maple flavor spreading throughout the whole cake.

Yanagizuki in April 2018 offers consistently delicious sweets that are perfect for souvenirs or as a little tea snack, all at a reasonable price. Their most famous treat is Sanpouroku, which comes in various flavors depending on the season, but the plain one is highly recommended. Yanagizuki is located inside Big House, making it convenient to visit. I bought four different cakes from there. My friend and I shared them, and all of them were easy to eat. In mid-April 2017, I received a souvenir of new products from Yanagi-san at Big House in Shimbetsu, the Strawberry Sosison & Honey Milk Macaroon. Sosison is a French term for salami, and when you cut the strawberry chocolate, it looks like salami with marshmallows and walnuts inside. The pink color of the strawberries makes it feel like spring, and the occasional sweet chocolate is a nice touch. The Honey Milk Macaroon has a macaron pastry with a cream puff center filled with rich milk cream and honey custard cream. The crispy pastry and double cream are a perfect balance in this cream puff. Truly delicious, Yanagi-san! Thank you for the treat.
