Among bloggers who love bread, there is a highly rated bakery that specializes in bagels. It is said to be run by a former staff member of "Imamura Seipanjo" in Mizuma-gun, Fukuoka, and I am quite intrigued by it.
**Shop Overview**
The shop has a natural atmosphere with white and wood tones, and most of the space is dedicated to the bakery. The left side is the sales area, which is quite cramped and could get crowded with four people. The name of the shop comes from the owner's name, Natsumi, spelled backward.
**Products & Prices**
They offer a variety of bread such as hard bread, bagels, brioche, sandwich bread, baguettes, pastries, croque-monsieur, scones, pizzas, and more. Prices range from around 100 yen for simple items to around 200 yen for hard bread. They have about 15 types of bagels with flavors like dried fruits, nuts, cheese, rye, chocolate, cinnamon, sesame, vegetables, and more. The bagels sold here are said to be the same as those at a café called Malle Delicatessen+Cafe in Saga City.
- Chocolate & Cacao Scone (120 yen): A small-sized scone with a crispy exterior and a crumbly interior, flavored with chocolate chips and cacao nibs.
- Croque-Monsieur (230 yen): A sandwich made with sandwich bread, filled with ham, sliced tomatoes, and a rich béchamel sauce topped with basil.
- Roll Bread (80 yen): A large-sized bread with a slightly chewy and elastic dough, hint of buttery flavor, and a natural sweetness of wheat.
- Plain Bagel (180 yen): A dense and chewy bagel that becomes crispy when toasted, with a strong and hearty texture.
- Cream Cheese & Cranberry Bagel (180 yen): A French bread with a chewy texture, filled with cream cheese, walnuts, and cranberries.
Overall, the bakery is recommended for those who enjoy hard bread and bagels, perfect for breakfast or snacks. Personally, I wish they had more variety in their savory bread options, but I still want to go back to try more.
