When you go to eat a separate tonkatsu for 840 yen, you might think it will definitely cost over 1000 yen, but at Katsuya, they offer a variety of menu items at low prices. I don't usually visit chain restaurants, but I suddenly became a fan. The fillet cutlet was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had plans in Osaka at night, so I went to Osaka early and had lunch. I visited the familiar "Katsuya" as usual. I arrived at the Habikino Nishiura store at 1:30 pm on Sunday, and there were a decent number of customers, both groups and individuals. I ordered the limited-time menu item, the "Black Sesame Spicy Chicken Cutlet Bowl". I had been eating regular cutlet bowls lately, but the words "black sesame" and "spicy" quickly caught my attention. It's the last limited-time menu item of the year, so thank you, our Katsuya. What caught my eye was the overwhelming amount of white leeks and watercress when it was brought to me. But what surprised me even more was the amount of cutlet. To my surprise, it was a double serving, which I didn't expect. Thank you, Katsuya, for always exceeding our expectations, forever Katsuya. The rich flavor of black sesame with a spicy kick was excellent. The combination with the cutlet was perfect, but the compatibility with the rice was even better. I would even order a spicy rice dish if they had one. The cutlet had a crispy coating and was tender inside. I would like to say "see you next year" but I remembered that there are discount coupons in the flyer this month, so I need to go to Katsuya three more times. It's a happy endless cycle, thank you for the meal.

Today, I finally had the chance to try the pork cutlet curry that I had been wanting to eat for a while. The pork cutlet was tender and could easily be cut with a spoon. The cabbage also added a nice touch. I think it's a good dish because it's not too heavy even though it's satisfying.

I have been there a few times before, but this is my first post. I originally wanted to eat pork cutlet curry, but ended up wanting to eat it with sauce, so I ordered the pork miso soup set. The main pork cutlet was delicious, of course, but the miso soup was also satisfying with plenty of ingredients and well-made. I was satisfied with just the miso soup alone.

When I went on a business trip to Habikino, I visited Katsuya. It is conveniently located next to National Route 170 and close to Habikino IC. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with energetic staff. I ordered the chicken donburi, which I had tried before and found delicious, along with a large serving of miso soup. The chicken donburi, with its miso, soy sauce, and garlic-based sauce, was as tasty as ever. It tasted even better with the mayonnaise provided for dipping. I wish they had given a bit more mayonnaise though. The miso soup was also delicious, but the seasoning was quite strong, so you might not need it after finishing the donburi. There is pickled radish on the table, so running out of side dishes and having leftover rice is rare. Katsuya gives a 100 yen discount ticket that can be used anywhere in the country, which is very helpful. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating katsudon and visited this place after a long time. The prices on the menu are quite cheap for a tonkatsu restaurant. The quality of the meat is okay for the price, but I wish the seasoning had a bit more flavor. It feels a bit bland to me. I think just adding a bit more seasoning would make it taste better...

During a break from work, I stopped by here for a late lunch. I was considering getting my usual katsudon, but decided to try the limited-time menu item "maguro katsu" instead. I opted for the set meal rather than the bowl. I had the "Summer Refreshing Maguro Katsu Set Meal (745 yen)" which came with a refreshing sauce made of salt, grated ginger, chili pepper, garlic, onion, green onions, sesame oil, and black pepper. The cold sauce had a nice refreshing and spicy kick to it. But, I still prefer the regular katsudon.

I had the last Tartar Chicken Set meal. It is available with a discount of 150 yen until April 30th. It seems like it will be removed from the menu in May. The freshly fried chicken cutlet with tartar sauce was delicious. It came with miso soup and the pickled radish was tasty too. From May 1st to 6th, the Pork Cutlet Set meal and Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl will be discounted.

The food is cheap and delicious, my parents love it too. We visit about once a month. This time we had pork cutlet curry and grated radish pork cutlet set meal. We also got a pork cutlet bowl to go.

Great value for money

Good evening, it's Jugon here. The only place where my wife always orders katsudon is here, haha. I've never seen anyone order katsudon anywhere else. It's pretty normal for me, though... There are better places for katsudon, but I always go for the set meal because I want to eat cabbage. I don't put dressing on it, just a little sauce. I don't want to overdo it and upset my stomach, haha. Both taste and portion size are pretty average, as well as the price. I don't go out much at night, so I can't say for sure, but during the day, the cheerful and smiling staff make me want to come back again. They sometimes have special limited edition donburi dishes, which I think I'd like to try, but I haven't tried them yet. If you want takeout, make sure to call ahead because it can get pretty busy during the day. It was delicious, I'll definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and the restaurant was almost full. I looked at the menu and saw that the prices were very reasonable for the donburi and set meals. The tonkatsu dishes seemed like fast food. I ordered the Katsudon (with plum) for 529 yen (tax included) which was made with pork loin. The pork cutlet was a bit lacking in crispiness but was tender with a good texture. The broth in the bowl was slightly sweet and had a refined taste. Overall, I didn't have high expectations but considering the price, it was satisfactory. I would consider revisiting. Next to the register, they also had takeout options like pork cutlet, shrimp fry, and chicken wings.

I visited on Friday around 7 pm. There were a few groups with about 10 people in total. It wasn't too crowded or too empty, just the right amount of people. I didn't hesitate and ordered the Katsudon Ume. There are other options, but this one is enough for me. It's delicious and I believe it's a good value for the price, so I don't consider other menu items. It was really tasty. I'm satisfied. It's a new restaurant, but the location is good. It's on the corner, so you can enter from either the north or south side of the outer ring road. The staff may be new and a bit inexperienced, but they will probably get better with time. In any case, I'm happy to have more dining options.
