I received a bottle of sake from my friend, Fu, from Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture. It was a sweet sake that tasted like wine. I decided to buy some luxurious snacks to go with it, including a fruit sandwich that I wouldn't normally buy. It was the most expensive one with apple, mango, and cream, priced at 1,188 yen. In late October 2021, on a fine afternoon, I happened to pass by a bakery called Daiya Seipan near Hankyu Department Store. They had a variety of sandwiches in their showcase, including an Egg Sandwich (346 yen) and a new item called "Delicious Pork Cutlet Sandwich" priced at 810 yen. I had high hopes for the pork cutlet sandwich but unfortunately, the meat was tough and the taste was disappointing. The egg sandwich was decent, but overall I regretted buying the expensive cutlet sandwich. It may have been just a one-time experience, as it was listed as a new item. It was crowded at the underground first floor of Hankyu Department Store as usual (^^; but when I bought it, there were only about 3 people waiting. They had a seasonal limited edition "whole orange" as well, but I went for the classic "strawberry & banana"! It can last until the next day, so I also had it for breakfast (*^^*) It was filled with plenty of whipped cream! The strawberries and bananas were packed in tightly!! I think the fruit sandwich from this shop is my favorite (*^ω^*)
