Even though my kids initially didn't want to go to a chain restaurant while in Osaka, they ended up enjoying the meal at Denny's because they love it. I wish they had these breakfast options at Denny's in Gifu too.

The breakfast menu is available until 11am, and lunch is served until 5pm. However, the lunch menu is only available after 10am, as before that, only the breakfast menu is offered. I was tempted by the 100g hamburger on the breakfast menu, but opted for the cheese toast set with salad (605 yen) and a drink (iced coffee). The salad was served relatively quickly, but the main toast took a while. It seemed that they might have a limited capacity toaster, which caused the delay. The taste was average, nothing special. I was surprised by the number of staff present, considering the low customer turnout. They must be operating at a loss with a 600 yen price point and such few customers. [Good points] They accept electronic money, and it's not as crowded as McDonald's, so it might be a hidden gem along with the Dotonbori store that also opens at 7am.

There was no one at the reception, so I took a seat in the restaurant and tried calling using the call button (lol). I received the menu, placed my order, and when the food arrived, there was no water or chopsticks...hmm, disappointing. However, the spacious seating area was reassuring. I tried the Egg Burger Dish, which was 150g, but the taste did not match the ample volume. The hamburger was tasty and the rice went well with it. I always wonder, is this a stewed dish? They also have teppanyaki, so I would like to try it someday.

They provide white pepper, powdered cheese, and Tabasco for flavor variations, so you won't get tired of it until the end!
