On the 4th day of the year-end and New Year holidays, New Year's Eve, I spent the morning cleaning and preparing osechi and ozoni. In between my partner's cooking, I quickly simmered kelp and freeze-dried tofu. I only handled the seasoning for the simmered dishes prepared by my partner. Everything was finished by evening. Although we didn't need to buy anything else for New Year's, my partner and I went to the supermarket to get dinner. We bought cup noodles as a substitute for New Year's Eve soba, sushi, and beer, and returned home. After taking a bath, we enjoyed our meal while watching a TV show. The cup noodles were Maruchan's green tanuki flavor with added egg. The sushi included conger eel, tuna, sea urchin, head-on shrimp, yellowtail, and salmon roe, among others. In the past, the sushi from this shop was not very good, but it has improved recently. The beer was the reliable Asahi Super Dry in a 350ml can. Thank you for the meal. I was very grateful to everyone in 2019 for taking care of me and allowing me to eat delicious food. My private life was fulfilling, my work and health were decent. I hope that 2020 will be a good year for everyone.
