I visited this restaurant for the first time on a weekday off. I parked at a coin parking slightly away from the shop, but there seemed to be a closer parking spot. They didn't have any tempura dishes on the menu, so I ordered the soba noodles with a large serving. The thin-cut soba noodles had a slight crunch and a nice chewy texture typical of 100% buckwheat noodles. The aroma and sweetness of the soba spread in my mouth with each bite. The soba dipping sauce had a delicate sweetness with a hint of bonito flavor. I finished the meal with a warm soba broth. I wish I had come here sooner, as I really enjoyed the soba noodles. The quality of the soba at this price point is hard to beat. I would like to visit this place regularly. One thing to note, some customers parked their cars right in front of the shop before entering, is that okay?

I visited before 1 pm, and although the seats were full, I only had to wait a few minutes as there was only one group ahead of me. We ordered duck broth dipping soba, regular soba, and my wife ordered mori soba. The duck broth dipping sauce had a slightly strong sweet taste. The sauce for the mori soba was light and delicious. The soba itself had a great flavor and tasted delicious even when eaten with just salt. The kake soba was served just as we finished the duck broth soba, so it was piping hot. The flavor of the kake soba, which seemed to have bonito broth, was strong and delicious, but we still preferred the cold soba over the hot one. It was convenient to park in front or next to the restaurant. (Note: I unfortunately parked a bit further away.)

On a regular Friday, 20 minutes before opening, there were no customers, but by the time the restaurant opened at 11:30, it was full with a waitlist of about 6 people. You can park a few cars in front of the store. Our order was: - Cold dipping soba with spicy daikon for ¥950 - Cold duck broth soba for ¥1280 - Duck simmered in soy sauce for ¥700 - Extra noodles for ¥650 - Asahi Dry Zero beer for ¥360 Impressions: - The soba noodles were perfect, with just the right texture that I love. - The duck simmered in soy sauce was exquisite and incredibly delicious. The meat was thick and fluffy with a perfect sweetness. - The soba broth was extremely rich. Just the broth alone would make you feel completely satisfied. I'm sure the soba broth mixed with shochu is the best in Japan. - The people were wonderful. The owner's attentive service before opening and the hostess's thoughtful and accurate advice, along with the smiles and care from the staff, all contributed to a great dining experience. Thank you for the delicious meal. I have a feeling I will become addicted. The menu also lists "Soba, Alcohol, and Seasonal Hot Pot" (duck hot pot, conger eel hot pot, oyster hot pot), which all sound very enticing. I would love to try them with a rich shochu soba broth. I look forward to visiting again.

It was my second time here for lunch. I had to wait a little bit, but I could watch the mothers and their children without any problem. I ordered the duck soup soba, which was delicious as always. The warmth of the wooden tables made the atmosphere cozy. The father was busy making soba the whole time. Thank you very much, I would love to come back again.

On a holiday, I arrived at the restaurant around 1:30 pm. The restaurant was full, so I had to wait a bit. The staff were very friendly even while I waited. It was a very hot day, so I ordered the cold soba with extra noodles in advance. The soba flour was from Kashima, Ibaraki prefecture, and it was definitely worth coming from Tochigi prefecture. After the meal, the chef seemed happy, which made me happy too. The noodles arrived in about 10 minutes. First, I tried the soba on its own. The flavor and texture of the soba were excellent. Then I tried it without any condiments. The soba broth was delicious, just the way I like it. The spicy grated daikon was hot, but unlike wasabi, it didn't overpower the flavor of the soba, which was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the kindness of the staff made me really happy. I would love to visit this place again.

I found out that there is a famous soba restaurant here, and even though I made a same-day reservation, they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant is located in a complex area. The parking lot near Kuritsu Station with a prepayment of 300 yen/24h seemed to be the cheapest option. There were not many parking spaces available for hourly rental, but I still recommend it. I tried the duck broth soba (dipping noodles) at the restaurant. The duck broth was incredibly delicious...! The soba disappeared in no time, and when I mixed the remaining broth with the provided soba water, it was just amazing...! I usually don't drink the broth after finishing my soba, but on that day, I drank all the duck broth mixed with soba water. My friend who was with me was also surprised by this. However, it was just that delicious. It may not be the healthiest choice, but it's okay to indulge once in a while, right? I had a leisurely time with my friend, and we both agreed that we must visit this restaurant again. Next time, I would like to try a different menu item.

During my last visit, I was impressed by the duck dipping soba, but this time I tried the mori soba with extra noodles to really taste the soba itself. The finely cut 100% buckwheat noodles had a chewy texture and were delicious. The generous serving of wasabi was a nice touch. However, I found that just the soba wasn't quite enough, so I also ordered some mixed rice, which was also delicious. Despite it being a weekday lunch, there was still a line as the restaurant was as popular as ever. Even in the sweltering heat, I was comforted by the sight of a swallow's nest above the entrance. Soothing indeed!

The soba noodles were overall beautiful, with a nice firmness and a pleasant aroma that lingers elegantly. The wasabi was delicious, the salt was sweet with a hint of minerals, and the herring was soft while still maintaining its original shape. The seasoning was perfect for pairing with sake. The soba broth was rich and the best I've had so far.

I arrived 10 minutes before opening and waited in front of the shop, where the friendly owner welcomed me and let me be the first to enter. At the same time, the restaurant quickly filled up with customers. I tried the cold soba noodles and the rice with dried baby sardines, shiso leaves, and bonito flakes. Both dishes were incredibly delicious! The flavors were so good that I immediately wanted to eat them again!

I visited a soba restaurant called "Teuchi Soba Noda" near Kori-Tsu Station in Katano City, Osaka Prefecture, where the origin of soba flour changes daily. When I entered the restaurant, I was soothed by the calming music and cozy traditional Japanese interior. I ordered the Morisoba for 850 yen (tax included) and the soba noodles arrived in about 7 minutes. The hand-made soba noodles looked delicious. The texture and bite of the soba noodles were excellent, and they paired well with the sweetness and richness of the broth. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Visit date and time: 11:20 on a weekday Wait time: 12 minutes (waiting for the store to open) Menu: Mori Soba (buckwheat noodles) for 850 yen + Large size for 320 yen + Mixed rice with small fish and large basil leaves for 270 yen I arrived before the store opened and there were 3 groups of 5 people waiting outside. The store opened a bit late at 11:32, but we were able to enter on the first round. They took our orders in order, and I ordered the Mori Soba in a large size and the mixed rice. The food was served in 15 minutes. The soba noodles were from Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and were thinly sliced with a delicious aroma. The wasabi was freshly grated, giving a refreshing flavor in my mouth. When I left, there were 2 groups waiting inside and 1 group waiting outside. I will definitely come back to eat here again. Thank you for the meal.

On May 27, 2023, I visited "Noda", a hand-made soba restaurant located about a 2-minute walk from the Kintetsu Katano Line's "Korozu Station" in Hirakata City. This renowned restaurant was selected as one of the top 100 soba restaurants in 2022. I ordered: - "Duck Broth Soba" for ¥1,280 - "Mixed Rice with Dried Baby Sardines and Shiso Leaves" for ¥270 The noodles are made from 100% buckwheat flour, stone-milled in-house from whole buckwheat grains. The hand-cut noodles are extremely thin at about 1mm in diameter, without any added binders, using spring water from the Mizunose Shrine in Takatsuki City for a smooth texture. The noodles have a slightly rough texture with a hint of sweetness, a firm bite, and excellent chewiness. The dipping broth is made from bonito, mackerel, and jawfish, resulting in a rich and sweet flavor, served with thick slices of duck meat and tender white scallions. The duck meat is grilled to a crispy skin with a chewy yet flavorful taste. The soba water has a thick and comforting taste. When combined with the dipping sauce, it enhances the richness and depth of flavor. The rice dish is flavored with the fragrance of shiso leaves and the texture of dried baby sardines. It may seem simple, but it complements the meal perfectly. Whenever I crave soba in Osaka, "Noda" is my go-to recommendation. Highly recommended. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited the hand-cut soba restaurant Noda during a walk. I arrived just after opening at 11:30 am. I couldn't get a table on the first round, so I wrote my name on the waiting board and waited for my turn. It's a system where you are guided in order, so I had to wait about 30 minutes before being seated, even though a single seat was available. I ordered the large portion of soba noodles, grated daikon with small fish, and Kirin Lager. The spicy radish and small fish made a good accompaniment. While drinking beer, I waited about 15 minutes for the soba to arrive. The soba noodles had a slightly bluish and beautiful appearance. They were thin and short, making them easy to pick up by hand. First, I tried them with salt. The soba noodles were sophisticated and elegant. Next, I added wasabi to the soba noodles and dipped them in the sauce. The sauce was also refined like the soba noodles, and the wasabi was mild. I prefer a stronger wasabi flavor. Perhaps because I ordered a large portion, the soba noodles clumped together towards the end. It's always a dilemma when deciding between a regular portion that's not enough and a large portion that clumps together easily when eating soba noodles. After the soba noodles, I enjoyed soba soup. This restaurant provides soba dipping sauce for seasoning the soba soup. Since I had drunk too much the day before, the soba soup tasted delicious. I realized that I often go to soba restaurants to have soba soup on the day after drinking too much. The duck simmered in soy sauce and duck ham also looked delicious. They also offer Katano Sakura sake from Katano City. I look forward to coming back next time to leisurely enjoy the soba noodles.

Today, I visited a soba restaurant in Katano City, Osaka, which has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. I parked my car at a coin parking lot near a supermarket and arrived 10 minutes before opening. There were already 4 people in line, and by 11:30, the line had grown to over 10 people, with the restaurant becoming full as soon as it opened. It seemed to be a family-run business. The small restaurant could only accommodate about 15 people at a time. Since I had to eat ramen at an odd time, I only ordered the mori soba. The soba served that day was from Biei, Hokkaido, a place I visited last year! The Blue Pond and Shikisai no Oka are located there. The soba was slightly coarse and thin, with a gentle aroma and a good texture. The dipping sauce had a sharp taste with a hint of bonito flavor. The freshly grated wasabi was plentiful and delightful. The soba broth was thick and creamy, almost like a delicious potage soup when mixed with the leftover dipping sauce. It was delicious and reasonably priced. The mori soba was 850 yen, and even the duck soba was only 1280 yen. Thank you for the meal.

My favorite soba restaurant is Noda. Although there is a famous soba cutting restaurant called Tenemiya in neighboring Hirakata City, I personally prefer Noda. The duck soba here is delicious with no strong taste, so I recommend trying it. The soba itself is delicious, so you can't go wrong with anything you order.

After a meeting in Moriguchi, I decided to have lunch at a soba restaurant called Noda in Katano. I already knew that udon in this area is delicious, but soba in Osaka is quite rare. I love soba, especially the 100% buckwheat soba, so I ordered a large serving. I chose the grated radish soba with spicy radish, which had a nice aroma of soba and a rich broth reminiscent of Edo-style soba. The spicy radish added a delicious kick to the dish. Mixing it with the soba and freshly grated bonito flakes was a great combination. This is definitely a great restaurant!

Soba noodles for 850 yen, and rice mixed with dried small fish and large perilla leaves starting from 270 yen. Situation: Arrived around 12:05 on Saturday, waited for 15 minutes with 3 groups ahead of us before being seated. Couple points: If you order two dishes, you can share. Atmosphere: Good. Taste: The soba noodles are thin and firm, made with 100% buckwheat with a flavorful bonito broth. The combination of large perilla leaves and dried small fish in the mixed rice is delicious. There are plenty of side menu options, so I would like to try something different next time. Honestly, my unsophisticated palate is more accustomed to cheap soba noodles, so this was too refined for me. Other: Bicycle parking available (motorcycles allowed), restroom available.

I got off at the Kuratsu Station on the Keihan Katsuragawa Line, which was the first time since visiting the renowned Udon restaurant called "Rakuraku." It was a weekday afternoon and the place was not crowded due to its location. This time, I ordered the duck soup soba in a large portion. I've been trying to eat a bit lighter this week, so I was in the mood for some soba. The duck soup was fantastic! The flavor of the duck meat was great, and the broth was rich and delicious. They also provided soba broth separately, which was a nice touch! The soba itself was also delicious, but I was really glad I chose the duck soup. It was a satisfying bowl of noodles.

Handmade Soba Noda (Osaka, Kori-tsutsu) 🍜 --------------------------------- Gourmet ★ Love Gourmet --------------------------------- This time, I visited "Handmade Soba Noda" in Katano because I really wanted to eat soba. When I searched, I found a nearby soba restaurant that looked delicious. However, I arrived during peak hours, so there was quite a wait. After waiting for about 40 minutes, I was able to enter the restaurant. Please note that there are few coin parking lots around. Menu ordered 🍜 Duck broth soba (dipping noodles) large size: 1,600 yen Dried young sardines and grated radish: 320 yen Selected as one of the top 100 soba restaurants on Tabelog in 2022 --------------------------- ■ King's Best Gourmet Award ■ Duck broth soba (large size): 1,600 yen --------------------------- * Made with soba seeds from Biei, Hokkaido, and homemade flour, this hand-cut 100% soba is extremely thin and slurps down smoothly, which feels very pleasant. I rediscovered how delicious soba can be. The duck broth dipping sauce is packed with the umami and sweetness of duck, combined with the mellow taste of soy sauce. The duck meat has no odor and tastes delicious. The dried young sardines and grated radish have a spicy flavor thanks to the use of spicy radish, adding an adult touch. At the end of the meal, they provide soba water, dipping sauce, and a cup of soba water set, which is perfect for finishing the meal and easy to drink.

This is Osaka, and if we were to talk about the boundary between udon and soba, it is definitely a udon area here. Of course, we also eat udon, but it feels like soba is served as a side menu at udon restaurants, and there are not many specialty soba shops. However, in Hirakata in northern Kawachi, there are renowned shops like Ten Sho and Noda, which have enriched Osaka's noodle culture. In the past, even finding a delicious ramen shop was limited. Noda opened in 2003. It is located near the Kozu Station on the Keihan Railway Katsuragawa Line (a local line between JR Kawachi-Iwafune and Keihan Hirakatashi stations). Surprisingly, the famous udon shop Gakugaku is also nearby. Next to Katsuragawa is Kyoto, where there are longstanding soba shops like Matsuba, Yagura, and Owariya, so I think this northern Kawachi region has a familiarity with soba culture. ◼︎ Noda's Points - 100% soba - Early October features summer's new soba from Ibaraki - Freshly made, freshly cut, freshly boiled - The dedication to the spring water from Takatsuki Mizunose Shrine and soba is on par with top-notch shops. ◼︎ Duck Soup Soba: 1,280 yen, Large Serving (50% extra): 320 yen - Stir-fried rice with dried baby sardines and large perilla leaves: 270 yen The duck-based dishes are quite popular here. I wanted to enjoy the soba itself, so I chose the Duck Soup Soba. Here it is. Surprisingly, it comes with two types of duck broth and soba broth, which adds to the excitement! The soba is 100% and has a strong soba aroma. The soba flour is around grade 1-2, quite white, and has an elegant flavor. The duck broth is quite sweet. With duck fat, green onions, and the sweet broth, combined with the richness of the soba, it has a nice mouthfeel. I've never had this sweet broth elsewhere. In contrast, the soba broth is made with soy sauce, bonito, mackerel, and horse mackerel commonly found in Kanto region. However, the soy sauce used here is rich in umami and the broth is delicious. The soy sauce has a sharp taste, so alternating between the sweet broth and the soy sauce broth is irresistible! The location is in Katsuragawa, which is a place where you may not have many chances to visit, but it might be worth hopping between Gakugaku and Noda. Thank you for the meal! (≧д≦)ゝ!
