Today, my wife and I went to Kinoha Mall Hashimoto for a late lunch. The food court was quite crowded, with many families with children. I had a dice steak from Uestan, while my wife tried the new udon shop and ordered a "wakame udon" for 440 yen, with toppings of "tempura seaweed" for 180 yen and "tempura chicken" for 180 yen. The tempura chicken was a bit dry. The sweet potato tempura was generous in portion, but overall, it was just okay for 800 yen. The noodles were not too soft and had a good texture.

A new udon restaurant opened in mid-March 2023 on the first floor of the Food Court at Kinoha Mall, right next to Hashimoto Station on the Fukuoka Subway. It operates in a Marugame Seimen style, where you can choose your tempura items yourself before proceeding to the cashier. I opted for the bukkake udon with chikuwa tempura, which is one of my favorite combinations. The cold bukkake udon I ordered had the option to add ginger, which I chose to include. The noodles were firm and had a good chewy texture, which I enjoyed. The broth had a slight sweetness to it, which paired well with the grated daikon radish. Although the amount of green onions was minimal, they added a nice crunch to the dish. Overall, I was satisfied with the udon, but I wish they would include more green onions in the dish. They accept PayPay as a payment method.

Udon restaurant "Tsurumaru Udon" by U-Fujio Food System Group, which operates "Kushikamemonogatari" and others at the Food Court in Konoha Mall Hashimoto. Here, you can enjoy udon noodles made from domestically produced wheat and freshly made in the store every day at a reasonable price. The system allows you to choose the basic udon and then customize it with various types of tempura, croquettes, and original toppings and condiments. I ordered the meat udon for 540 yen and added a hot spring egg for 100 yen. The total cost was 640 yen. The broth is a Kansai-style broth made from kombu and bonito, with a clean and refreshing taste. The noodles are made from domestically produced wheat, giving them a chewy texture and a gentle mouthfeel. The restaurant is located in the Food Court at Konoha Mall Hashimoto.
