I used this restaurant in Hyogo for a memorial service meal with about 10 people. It was convenient to be able to use it early in the day. Having a private table was appreciated. The first half of the meal went smoothly. However, the service became slower towards the end. We had to scoop up the yuba ourselves, which was a bit challenging. Overall, the price was reasonable and if the service had been faster, it would have been better.

I made a reservation on the same day and went to the restaurant. It is a healthy restaurant that uses yuba and tofu. The private rooms were also clean. I forgot to take photos, but the self-pulled yuba that you can eat endlessly was delicious. The yuba tempura was also delicious with a fluffy texture.

Ume no Hana lunch. The gentle taste that you sometimes crave. The most delicious is the miso eggplant! It's delicious no matter how many times you eat it. The chewy texture is irresistible. Also, Mineoka tofu is really delicious. It's also chewy. It's so delicious that you want to take it home. And to be able to eat eel rice, it's just too much of a happy lunch. The calm atmosphere and the staff seem reliable. Having lunch at Momichi is the best♪

It was the most affordable lunch, but each dish is served separately, allowing you to enjoy your lunch slowly. The steamed eel in a steamer basket was a small portion, but surprisingly had a good amount and was piping hot, so it was delicious. For an additional charge, you can change the dessert to a parfait.

My companion has a weak stomach, so we had Japanese food for lunch today before going to the museum. Since there was no weekday lunch menu, we started with small dishes. First, we had tender simmered beef tongue, summer udo flower simmer, and bonito tataki. It's nice to be able to enjoy a little bit of each delicious item. Then we had chawanmushi, sashimi with marinated tuna and grated yam, and the famous tofu shumai. It was satisfying and delicious. We also enjoyed the fukufuku tofu with spicy mapo sauce, yuba tempura, and nama-fu dengaku. The shabu-shabu of conger eel in a single-flower pot was beautifully presented. We also had yuba soup and rice cooked with dried baby sardines and real Japanese pepper, pickles, and for dessert, warabi mochi. Before the meal, we had sweet sake at the sake brewery, while my companion had ripe plum drink. It had been a while since we took our time to enjoy a meal. I felt like my stomach was going to burst.

Stable plum blossoms. We went with about 10 people. The spacious room in the back has tables and carpeting, so it's very cozy and your feet don't get cold. The restaurant mainly serves tofu dishes, so there isn't much guilt. One of my favorite dishes is the squid shumai. The oshinogi that comes out in the middle was surprisingly delicious!

We used this restaurant for a celebration when our family member entered a university outside the prefecture. It's important for children to sometimes use private rooms like etiquette. The food was delicious as well. The sashimi served on small plates looked elegant. We were able to have a leisurely conversation as a family. Thank you very much. The plum blossoms are beautiful!

I use this restaurant for meals with my elderly parents. There are various courses available, but since it's a tofu restaurant, I always order the tofu-based course. I personally like the miso-marinated tofu. My elderly father prefers the tofu hot pot. However, the Hyakudo restaurant does not have sunken kotatsu tables, so my parents, who have knee problems, struggled to sit on the tatami floor. It was a bit of a mistake. When dining with elderly people, it's better to choose the Nishi no Oka restaurant, which has table seating and sunken kotatsu tables.

You cannot make a reservation for the affordable set meal. That's the only downside, but the taste is definitely delicious with a gentle flavor. I think it's healthy and good.

Near the Fukuoka Prefecture Yahoo Dome, there is a nationwide tofu course restaurant that I have been wanting to visit. I went on a Saturday night. The evening prices are over 3,000 yen for courses, in addition to a la carte options. This time, I tried the 3,050 yen course which included tofu salad, chawanmushi, fish and tofu paste, marinated tuna with yam, tofu dumplings, fried fu with miso, beef sukiyaki, corn black rice, pickles, yuba soup, and dessert, along with a 600 yen plum wine. I love tofu, often eating homemade tofu made with nigari and soy milk! I also enjoy fried fu, so my review may be biased. The best dishes were the yuba tempura and fried fu with miso. The matcha miso for the wind instrument was also great. The rich yaki tofu in the sukiyaki was a standout. The rice was black with corn, moist and sweet, surprisingly delicious. Overall, there were no disappointments. The 5,000 yen course includes sashimi and more. The restaurant also has branches in Kunitachi and Tachikawa in the Tama region, so I might just have to visit those too!

We came here as a family to celebrate, looking for a place where we could have a calm lunch. This restaurant is a well-known establishment that specializes in tofu dishes and is popular among women. I have used their catering service several times for work, so I am familiar with them. Since lunch reservations are not accepted, I called ahead to confirm before coming. The interior of the restaurant has private rooms and spacious tables with sunken kotatsu seating. The menu is a bit pricey, but since it was a celebration, I chose the Plum Lunch for 1,720 yen (tax included). When you think of tofu dishes, you may imagine vegetarian cuisine, but this restaurant offers a variety of dishes that are satisfying and delicious. For the rice course, you can choose from eel steamed in a bamboo basket, seasonal rice dishes, or Japanese-style gratin, and you can upgrade the dessert for an additional 320 yen (this time I chose the seasonal strawberry soy milk parfait). All the staff were women and provided efficient and pleasant service. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

☆Photos of plum blossoms taken in the beginning and later this morning☆"I feel like eating something good for the body (^ ^)" so, my better half and I were feeling unwell, so we discussed what to do for lunch - should we eat at home or go out to eat? As a result, we decided to take a drive near the dome to see the plum blossoms ( ̄▽ ̄)↑↑↑Some may say if you're feeling unwell, just eat at home ( ̄▽ ̄;)Recently, My Levi-sama also visited a different store, but I personally like the "casual luxury" vibe of this store, and my better half seems to use it for business purposes (⌒▽⌒)This time, we had the colorful lunch for ¥2,400(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))♡Our grand plan was to eat yudofu↑↑I personally like to enjoy yudofu and tofu milk soup separately, but my better half always shares with me, so if I complain, I'll get in trouble ←←MonotoneLast year, we also used the store in Kokura for my birthday, and the renkon-filled hiryusou (imitation goose) with a crunchy texture was very delicious and made me happy (๑>◡<๑)The tango of nama-fu with yomogi and awa, each with a delicious sauce of wood buds and miso (I think), was tasty (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)The yuba rolled in fried tofu was delicious, and the black beans and kuwai for the finishing rice were tasty, and the dessert with manju made with wheat gluten had a refreshing aroma in the filling^▽^After having hojicha, I took a breath and thought, "That was delicious~~ε-(´∀`) ==========="

Visited this place with family. The course was around 3020 yen with advance reservation. We had a private room reserved for us. The private rooms are on the left side of the entrance, while the table seats are on the right side. There are partitions in between, so even at the table seats, you can relax. Now, let's start with the tofu feast! - Salad: Tofu was hidden underneath. - Small dish: Tofu with what seemed like kudzu starch, very soft and delicious. - Sashimi: Tuna with grated yam and tofu mixed in a sauce. The grated yam had a dashi flavor and was delicious. - Chawanmushi: Delicious. - Fu and yuba dishes: The texture of the fu (wheat gluten) was soft and delicious. The yuba (tofu skin) tempura seems addictive. - Beef wrapped in magnolia leaf: Tender beef was inside. Also delicious. At this point, we decided to add the Matsutake mushroom steamed dish for an additional 430 yen. - Soybean and shimeji mushroom rice: Mixed rice. - Yuba soup: A bit salty compared to the other dishes. The Matsutake mushroom steamed dish arrived. It looked even better than in the photo. It's nice that you can add it for 430 yen. - Dessert: Black honey kinako (soybean flour) ice cream, and for an additional 320 yen, we tried the seasonal limited chestnut parfait. The chestnut parfait was delicious. The black honey kinako ice cream was so good that one serving was not enough. It had been about 10 years since my last visit, but I was captivated by the gentle and delicious taste of the tofu. The service in the private room was excellent with a smile. On our way out, there was a booth selling products, so we stopped by and bought the "moisture-rich Mineoka" instead of almond jelly. Thank you for the meal.

I was surprised to find a restaurant with a traditional Japanese inn-like atmosphere in this area! The private rooms are lovely and you can enjoy a leisurely meal. It was very quiet as it was close to closing time. It's a mid-range restaurant, not as expensive as a high-end traditional inn. The food selection was great, with dishes like tofu, yuba, chawanmushi, crab shumai, tempura, and gratin all beautifully presented. Each dish was small in portion but there were many varieties. A kaiseki meal really makes time slow down. Before you know it, you're already full... The private rooms allow you to relax, which is nice. I also liked the secret base-like atmosphere. Recommended for those who want to have a secret gathering. Thank you for the meal!

My better half loves casual traditional Japanese restaurants, and we often go to Kisoji near Hakata Station and Umenohana. Since I've been eating more Japanese food lately due to my health, we decided to visit Umenohana again. The restaurant tends to have a lot of families with children, but they have private rooms which we always request. We went on a Saturday and ordered the most affordable Umenohana lunch set for ¥1,600. I love dishes with tofu, so I particularly enjoyed the yudofu dish. My better half, who can't eat much due to surgery, ordered miso dengaku and half of the unagi rice, which I ended up finishing to avoid wasting food. The miso dengaku was the most delicious dish for me. Overall, it was a satisfying meal at Umenohana.

There are many restaurants in the prefecture, but this time I decided to have lunch at Momichidou Ten. While I was able to make a reservation at Takamiya Ten, here they said that lunch seats cannot be reserved, so I arrived close to the 11 o'clock opening time. I chose a private room, where there was a 90-minute time limit, as the other seats had no time limit. The staff kept reminding me of the time limit every time I entered the room, which was a bit annoying. I decided to order the Ume no Hana lunch set for 1600 yen (excluding tax), as I really wanted to try the nama-fu dengaku and yuba tempura. The set included various dishes like small appetizers, chawanmushi, simmered dish, tofu salad, nama-fu dengaku, yuba tempura, yuba soup, rice dish (I chose eel seiro), pickles, and dessert. I opted to change the dessert to the seasonal parfait for an additional 300 yen (excluding tax). The nama-fu dengaku and yuba tempura were delicious as always. The dishes had a consistent taste and were served at a decent pace, but I couldn't help but be preoccupied with the time limit. As I finished my meal and the tea was refilled, the seasonal parfait arrived just in time, and I managed to finish it slightly over the time limit. It was my first time feeling unsettled during a meal at Ume no Hana. I wonder if it would have been different if I could make a reservation! Thank you for the meal.

Before heading to the Kiyoharu Fujishiro exhibition at the Fukuoka City Museum, I stopped by for lunch. I was the first one there, so I was lucky to be seated in a private room. However, my joy was short-lived as the noise from the boiler or air conditioning was loud, the windowless 2-tatami room felt cramped, and I could hear the conversations of the ladies in the next room. I wished I had not been seated in the private room after all. Nonetheless, I continued with my lunch, ordering the Plum Blossom Lunch and changing the fried food to a set of white fish tempura, shrimp fritters, and bamboo shoot tempura, as well as changing the dessert to a strawberry parfait. The change in fried food was good, but the soybeans on top of the parfait were questionable. Also, the steamed eel on rice was overcooked and mushy. Besides the discomfort of the environment, the importance of light was deeply felt during the exhibition.
