The cream is not too sweet and just right, and the portion size is amazing. I also bought some baked goods as souvenirs. I requested either pudding or cream puff, anything would do. When I opened the box, it was a milk crepe. It was really big, and when I looked at it from the side, it was filled with fruits. I took a bite and the cream was cold and delicious. The fruits included banana, melon, strawberry, kiwi, and more. The cream was not too sweet, allowing the fruit flavors to shine. I went early, so I was relieved that it wasn't sold out yet. Their milk crepe has delicious pastry and cream that enhances the fruit, making it a truly outstanding dish that deserves all the support it gets.

HARBS Chestnut Chocolate Cake (¥880 including tax) - This cake features a chocolate cream with a hint of rum and large chestnuts with their skins on. The chestnut cream on the outside has just the right amount of alcohol that you can tell, and a delicious chestnut flavor. Inside, there is a chocolate-based cream with large chestnut pieces, and a chocolate sponge. It is delicious on its own, but even better when eaten as a whole. The chestnuts on top are perfectly sweet and absolutely delicious.

The cakes in the showcase are neatly arranged and sliced for serving. Unfortunately, photos are not allowed, but just looking at the sweets will surely lift your spirits if you love desserts. This time, I purchased the classic milk crepe. They change the menu monthly and offer limited edition cakes, making it a place where you can enjoy different cakes each time you visit. The crepe cake consists of thin layers of crepe, cream, and a variety of fruits such as strawberries, kiwi, bananas, and melon. You can enjoy the harmony of fresh fruits and sweet cream. The cake is wrapped in aluminum foil after cutting for takeout, so it may not look as beautiful in photos due to the packaging. This shop is mainly for takeout, but there are also stores where you can eat in, so if you want to enjoy the cake in its beautiful state right after cutting, I recommend visiting the eat-in store.

In August 2019, on my way back from work, I bought some pastries at the takeout shop in Daimaru Umeda called HARBS. I usually bought their milk crepe, but this time I found some baked goods and decided to try them out. I bought a set of 4 semi-fresh cakes for 1520 yen. They are made by layering crepe dough carefully and baking it moistly. The flavors included were: baked cheese cake, rum raisin butter cake, classic chocolate cake, and fruit cake. I took them home and chilled them before eating. The rum raisin cake was my favorite, it had a rich flavor without feeling heavy. Overall, all the cakes were delicious. (Herbs) Red Tea Bolo, how about that! Dining in Umeda and taking out. Herb's, a cake shop in the basement of Daimaru department store, has a takeout specialty store. On the upper floors, there is also a separate cafe. - Red Tea Bolo, tax included 650 yen A snack made by baking meringue. It came with 8 pieces. I imagined something like milk bolo when I heard "bolo", but it has a crispy texture. The flavors are red tea, coconut, and white sesame. They also sell a mixed type. Once you put it in your mouth, the aroma of red tea spreads. Upon closer inspection, you can see small brown leaf particles. Thank you for the meal.

At DAIMARU Umeda, there is a shop called Herb's with large cakes on display. Even a single slice is quite big, so one piece is satisfying in terms of volume! I bought a milk crepe to take home as a souvenir. They allow takeout within 2 hours. The crepe was filled with plenty of strawberries and kiwi, and the cream was light, making me feel happy. The box and cake are cute, which boosts my mood!

It might be a hidden gem! I was wandering around Daimaru in search of a parfait, but ended up at HARBS for cake as usual (laughs). Since it was late afternoon, many cakes were sold out! I couldn't have the strawberry cake, but I saw that you could buy it at the takeout counter on the first floor. HARBS is great because you can get a refill of hot coffee. I don't have the courage to ask for a refill, but I always get tempted by their seasonal milk crepe. This time, I enjoyed the special chestnut cake (700 yen). I wonder if I'll get to try the strawberry cake this season. Thank you for the meal.

This was the worst cake I have ever bought and eaten in this price range. I think it was called Chocolate Custard Cake. They put too much cocoa powder on it, ruining the chocolate flavor. The base of the cake was like choux pastry, so the texture was also bad. I will never buy it again. It's strange that there are no 1-star ratings.

Whenever I have the chance to pass by HARBS next to Daimaru, I can't help but stop by! This time, I tried the peach rare cheesecake and their famous milk crepe. The peach cheesecake was nothing special, unfortunately. The compote had a slightly medicinal taste, which was disappointing. However, the milk crepe was as perfect as ever! The crepe was soft and the custard was exquisite, complementing the fruit flavors beautifully. It's delicious! Whenever I buy something other than the milk crepe, I always end up feeling underwhelmed and swear I won't buy it again, but then I forget and end up trying something new again. I'll stick to the milk crepe as my go-to, but occasionally I'll try something else too.

HARBS cakes are really delicious! Today is my wife's birthday, so I splurged and bought a cake from HARBS. It's expensive but worth it - the cakes are big and tasty! The milk crepe is especially delicious, and the chocolate cake with a hint of liqueur goes perfectly with the strawberries. I'm sure she'll be thrilled when I bring it home!

I love the white chocolate cake that is sold at this time of year (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I often get it as a takeout! I also love chestnut cake and banana cream pie, but during this season, it's definitely this cake!!! First of all, I love the appearance of it (≧∀≦) The white chocolate cream is really delicious, you can even drink just the cream (^-^) lol There's plenty of cream on the edges! But it's not too heavy!!! No heartburn!!! The sponge has a hint of rum in it. It's not too strong, but if you don't like it, it might be a problem? The sponge is also moist and delicious (≧∀≦) It also has crushed small almonds in it, which is a nice accent and texture♡ I love white chocolate on its own, but the almonds in it are also something I love about this cake♡ Furthermore, the top is decorated beautifully with white chocolate♪ There's a lot piled on top (o^^o) Personally, I prefer the white chocolate cream around the sides rather than the top white chocolate. Oh, right! There's also this cream between the sponge layers♡ Herb's cakes are all big, so I'm really happy with the satisfaction of having eaten a cake♪ When there's no white chocolate cake, I don't usually go to Herb's, but during this season, I just can't help wanting to eat this (^^;) There's still a little more time left in the sales period, so maybe I'll buy it again?! Big cakes make you really happy (≧∀≦) On a side note, I always admire how neatly Herb's cakes are cut (^-^)

Coco - I have always noticed the large cakes here and they look great. This time, I found a takeout-only shop in Daimaru Department Store basement (^｡^). For chestnut Mont Blanc lovers, I recommend the Chestnut Cake☆★★☆(^^)v, priced at 700 yen including tax. It is made with plenty of chestnut paste and chopped chestnuts, with a hint of rum flavor. The aroma of rum is light and nice. The chestnut paste is sweet and delicious. There is also whipped cream and chopped chestnuts, which go well with the sponge cake. The large cake disappears in no time, haha. It may seem expensive at first, but considering the size of the cake, it is very satisfying. I don't think it's expensive at all. Thank you for the meal!
