The content was rich in volume. Detailed explanations would be pointless here, as it's best to experience it on the day. While enjoying the view of the Yanagawa river cruise, there is a lot of exotic atmosphere! The authentic ethnic cuisine is delicious, yet not too unfamiliar. Even those not accustomed to authentic ethnic cuisine were saying how delicious it was. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

【Enjoying a Blissful Chinese Tea Time While Watching the River】Today, let me introduce you to Muku, a tea restaurant located in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture. They offer a variety of teas, set meals, and lunch menus that you don't usually get to taste. Delicious dishes and drinks await you here. Indulge in a tasty set meal and tea, and don't forget to try their sweets and desserts as well.

I arrived at the restaurant shortly after it opened and had to wait a bit because it was full of reservations. Maybe it's easier to get in just after lunchtime. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very nice and lovely. There were four tables and one tatami room, creating a very calming space. Personally, I thought it might be a bit difficult to bring children here. The Yame tea shaved ice had a generous portion and was perfect for one person. It wasn't very sweet, so even those who don't like sweet treats would enjoy it.

In a spacious parking lot, you pass through a simple and stylish lattice gate and open a heavy door to enter. Inside, there are tea and tea utensils displayed on the left. You take off your shoes and go up to a Japanese-style room, where there is a private room on the right with a table set up. Outside the window, there is a moat where sightseeing boats occasionally pass by. Today, I ordered a snack set. It included ginger tea, scones, jam, and cream. Also, today there was a special treat of zenzai served for a celebration. As I enjoy the scones with grape jam and cream, I can taste the wonderful flavors of a mysterious foreign country. The ginger tea has a lovely aroma, reminiscent of tea from India. In the quiet atmosphere, surrounded by stylish Japanese decor, you can have a very relaxing time.

I visited "Chasan Muku" at Nishitetsu Yanagawa at 2:00 PM. It's a hidden gem of a restaurant with a great atmosphere. I was honestly surprised by the Fig Shaved Ice priced at 1200 yen. It was as amazing as the one I had at "Ginger" in Ginza! It had black tea jelly, vanilla ice cream, rare cheese cream, and milk sauce, all designed to keep you interested until the last bite. It's a bit of a walk from Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station, but definitely worth it. I'd love to try their other dishes as well.

Wide-ranging Asian-inspired cuisine that captures the memories of flavors from travels across Asia, distinct from typical ethnic dishes. Simply put, it was delicious. The pre-meal sparkling drink was refreshing, the abundance of cumin was delightful, and the sourdough bread was a favorite. The building, interior, flowers, dishes, and tea sets were all lovely. You can enjoy everything here. The lunch course is priced at 3500 yen, but you can relax elegantly without feeling out of place. You can see the waterway for river cruising from the window. The garden is also well-crafted. Reservation is required!
I felt that I shouldn't write something boring like anpontan, which may cause misunderstandings. First of all, 3500 yen for lunch is a bit too much for a housewife like me, who is not particularly wealthy. However, I thought it was worth it. The food was good, but the time spent enjoying Chinese tea and sweets at the end was very elegant, and it felt like enjoying life and special moments with family (amidst everyday life). It seems you can also use the place as a café rather than opting for the course menu. The tea can be refilled in the pot at least 4 times!

I like to go to this restaurant when I want to relax, as it seems to have fewer customers at certain times. It's a special place for me. On cold days, I enjoy a leisurely cup of tea, and on hot days, I love their shaved ice (which I can enjoy even with my sensitive teeth!). The prices are a bit high, but the positive energy I get from this place is worth it. The food may not be to everyone's taste, but I recommend trying something different for a change. Enjoy a new flavor experience!

The atmosphere inside the store was nice, but the shaved ice and dessert sets were quite expensive.

The lunch menu offers four options: Lurou rice, Lurou noodles, Keema curry, and hot noodles, each with a strong and unique flavor.
