(2021.12.18) I went out on a Saturday thinking that many shops in the area where offices are located in the Kego-Akasaka area, just one station away from the commercial area of "Tenjin," would be closed on weekends and holidays. However, after being turned away from two shops that were open on Saturdays, I found a crowd gathering in front of "Nikuzen," a yakiniku restaurant that offers reasonably priced wagyu beef. This place is known for its steak bowl being incredibly good value for lunch, so I decided to queue up as I had bookmarked this place before. After waiting for about an hour starting from 12:50, I finally got a seat inside the restaurant. The spacious tables could comfortably accommodate six people, and the dimmed lighting gave the whole place a premium and stylish atmosphere. The "steak bowl" came with 300g of rice topped with 150g of meat for the regular size, and there was also a larger size available with 700g of rice and 300g of meat. Unfortunately, the larger size was already sold out as it was limited to 40 servings. I started with a soup that was a wakame soup with beef added, giving it a sweet meaty flavor. The steak bowl, although a regular size, featured top-quality Saga beef known for its tenderness and marbling. The steak, cooked medium with a crispy surface from being seared on a hot skillet, had a delicious texture that complemented the overall taste.

In the neighborhood, there is a gourmet lunch spot called "Nikuzen Daimyo Store" that opens on the 6th, 20th, and 27th of this month (all Saturdays). It's less than a 10-minute walk from my home, so my wife and I leisurely walked there a little after 11 am. However, we were in for a surprise. As we approached the intersection of Taisho Street, we could see a worrisome line forming. Could this be Nikuzen? When we joined the back of the line, there were around 60 people waiting. We thought about giving up, but since we had the whole afternoon free today, we decided to wait. When the store opened at 11:30 am, about half of the line had already entered the store, and about 10 people in line were aiming for the nearby "Bikkuri Tei" on the first floor, so they went there instead. Even so, we couldn't make it up the stairs to the store. We ended up waiting 90 minutes to get in. It had been a while since we lined up like this. My wife and I aren't big eaters, so we ordered two regular steak bowls. Since this place had such a long line, I thought they might cook the steak in advance and quickly serve it on top of the rice, but it took about 10 minutes from ordering for our food to arrive. It seems they cook it after you order. They must be very particular about their food, but maybe they could speed up the process a bit. However, the taste was excellent! The balance of 300g of rice and 150g of steak was perfect, even though I thought the rice might be a bit too much. The "special serving" is almost double this amount (700g of rice, 300g of steak) and costs only 1200 yen, which is a bargain. I can see why people line up. If it weren't for the long wait, I would definitely make this place a regular spot. By the way, they only accept cash for lunch payments.

It was very delicious. I recommend getting the large serving if you want to eat a lot of meat, as you can request a smaller portion of rice. There is wasabi as a condiment, although it is not shown in the photos. I lined up an hour before opening, but there were already about 30 people ahead of me. If you want to order the large serving, I think you should line up an hour early.

I lined up for 2 hours to get the volume lunch I wanted! I went six months ago but was told they had sold out right in front of me, which was so disappointing! After six months, I finally got to eat it! It took 2 hours of waiting, but it was worth it! Even though I'm on a diet, the portion was so big that I couldn't finish it! But the taste was delicious ☺️ If you want to eat something delicious, I recommend going for a normal portion!

The difference in price for the family using the yakiniku course is the quality of the beef tongue. We ordered the best course, but maybe we didn't have to try so hard. Negative points: 1) Even if you order a handle keeper, you have to pay for each person for the all-you-can-drink option. 2) It's fine to charge a fee for toddlers, but we would like to have children's cups. 3) It's not an iPad, probably a Chinese-made device, and the reaction is too slow. Good points: 1) The grill replacement is free. 2) There are proper plates for children. 3) The meat is just delicious. I would like to come back when I want to eat heartily. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the Steak Donburi (large) for 1,200 yen. I visited on a lunch day that is occasionally posted on Instagram. They open at 11:30, so I arrived around 10:15. There were already about 4 people in line, and I was fifth. In about 30 minutes, the line grew to over 20 people. Since it was sunny in the summer, I recommend bringing water in a flask if you plan to line up early. Around 11:20, they opened early after checking the line situation. The Steak Donburi (large) had a generous portion with 300g of meat and 700g of rice. The meat was tender and juicy, and it was quite a deal for 1,200 yen. With a total weight of 1kg, it's a challenging amount even for men to finish, so I recommend adjusting by asking for less rice, for example. They also have regular menu items and all-you-can-eat options, so I would like to visit again next time.

If you happen to pass by before noon on a regular day, there's a sign saying they have curry. The place is known for its meat dishes, it's cheap, so why not go there? After ordering, the food was served within a few minutes. The rice portion is normal, around 500g, so I didn't go for the large serving. The taste was okay, just a regular European-style curry, nothing exceptional. But for 500 yen, you get a curry with a few blocks of tenderly cooked meat in a high-class atmosphere in Akasaka – that's a great deal. The spiciness level is around 3 to 3.5 out of 5, so it's medium-spicy. I asked if they serve steak bowls, and they said they only offer them on weekends. I wonder if they serve curry for lunch every day or if the menu changes regularly? It's a mystery (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

This all-you-can-eat restaurant offers the best cost performance and quality. I highly recommend the Nikuzen Karubi, Sagari Steak, Hatsu, and Liver, along with trying the Hormone. Especially the Sagari Steak is a must-try, with its juicy, roast beef-like texture. The tongue was not as good. The garlic foil grill also goes well with the yakiniku. This restaurant is unparalleled in the all-you-can-eat yakiniku scene. I find myself visiting regularly.

The restaurant is known for its highly rated all-you-can-eat option and lunch roast beef bowl. I visited for the all-you-can-eat option as I am currently on a low-carb diet. The quality of the meat exceeded the usual standard for all-you-can-eat places, approaching that of famous restaurants like Takano or Rikyuan, making it worth the price. The restaurant's ordering system is through a tablet, but the sensitivity of the tablet is poor and difficult to use, which is unfortunate. I found it easier to choose dishes while looking at the paper menu.

I came to lunch after a long time (10 months). Previously, reservations were only for entering at 11:30, but recently it has become a first-come, first-served basis, so the entry time changes depending on the number of reservations. You don't have to rush to arrive at 11:30, so it's even more convenient to go. The meat is still delicious! Great value for money! I've been wanting to go for a long time and finally made it! The lunch is now available three times a month, only on Saturdays? I think? As soon as the schedule was announced, I made a reservation. It was definitely the right decision to reserve! Despite the rain, there were more than 10 people lining up before opening, but because I had a reservation, I was called in quickly and easily. The menu only offers a special serving of steak bowl (300g steak, 700g rice) and a regular serving (150g steak, 300g rice), so the staff came to ask which one we wanted in the order we entered. I wanted to try the special serving, but I knew I would definitely feel uncomfortable, so I chose the regular serving. It may lack the impact of the photo, but unless you're showing off your big eating skills, I recommend the regular serving for women. It was satisfying enough. If there was an option for 200g, I would have been greedy and chosen that, but there are only extreme amounts or normal amounts to choose from. However, I think the regular serving, which allows you to end with still some energy and a feeling of deliciousness, is probably good for women and light eaters rather than feeling uncomfortable at the end with the special serving. The meat was tender and easy to eat! ☺ Next time, I want to try the all-you-can-eat yakiniku at night! Thank you for the meal.

I used to check out this restaurant that was a bit intimidating to go alone, and lately, my friends who would accompany me to all-you-can-eat places have been decreasing, possibly due to my age... During the Obon holiday, I invited a friend who was back home to join me, and they were interested and agreed to go. We made a reservation and met at the restaurant on the day of our visit. The interior of the restaurant exuded a luxurious atmosphere that you wouldn't expect from an all-you-can-eat place, and we were seated comfortably at a table for four. The staff was efficient and the overall ambiance was pleasant. They explained some important points to us, such as the possibility of extra charges for food waste and the rule that you cannot order more than the number of people present (since there were two of us, we couldn't order more than two portions at a time). Desserts could only be ordered once, and drinks were on a glass exchange basis. The quality of the meat was high and delicious, and the side dishes were also authentic and tasty. The soup was quite substantial, so it was delicious but be careful as it takes up a lot of stomach space (laughs). The only slight disappointment was that the touch panel was unresponsive and difficult to order from, and the dessert parfait was mediocre, reminiscent of a birthday special at a karaoke box. Honestly, with that dessert quality, even if we weren't limited to one order, I wouldn't have wanted to order more. I wish they would put a little more effort into the dessert. Overall, the drinks, meat, and dishes were good, so I would like to visit again with someone else.

The Saga beef steak bowl for lunch had a strong impact and I had used it before, but this was my first visit since the interior changed. The sofa seats at the tables make it easy to relax without being bothered by the surroundings. It seems they offer all-you-can-eat at night. When I went a bit late, the sirloin was sold out. An all-you-can-eat Saga beef option is quite rare, isn't it? The price is also reasonable. Personally, I prefer the lunch menu. It's a touch panel system. They do not accept electronic payments. Credit cards are accepted.

I finally visited "Nikuzen" for lunch for the first time. This steak bowl lunch is very popular, and there is always a line in front of the restaurant when they are open. For detailed business days, it is better to check the restaurant's Instagram (nikuzen). Even on the day of my visit, there was already a line formed before the 11:30 am opening time, with about 20 people waiting. They also accept reservations, so if you don't like waiting, making a reservation is a must (as the wait time was longer than expected, I plan to make a reservation for my next visit). After waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I finally got inside. Each group was seated at a table, so even if you come alone, you will have a table to yourself, which didn't seem to result in a very high turnover rate. Now, onto the menu - they mainly serve regular or large servings of steak bowls. There was also beef stew available, but everyone was there for the high-cost performance steak bowl! The large serving includes 300g of meat and 700g of rice, making it a whopping 1kg meal. Since it was my first time, I ordered the regular serving. It came with seaweed soup as a side dish. The seaweed was a bit too soft, possibly soaked for too long. As for the steak bowl, I was very satisfied. The taste and price justified the long line. The meat was very tender, and the sauce paired perfectly with the rice. Even though the regular serving had 150g of meat and 300g of rice, I finished it in no time. I feel like I could tackle the large serving next time!笑

I used it for a social gathering. I was looking forward to it because I heard it was delicious at a reasonable price. It's exciting to hear that you can get A4.A5 grade meat. And it's all-you-can-eat. I ordered with a tablet. Each one had plenty of fat, and I couldn't believe it was really all-you-can-eat. I stopped taking pictures halfway through and just focused on eating. The quality for this price is really good. It's a hidden gem especially for those who want to eat a lot of meat. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

"Nikuzen Daimyo branch" is a popular yakiniku restaurant known for its special steak bowl for lunch. They use only Kyushu-produced A4 and A5 grade meat, which is their commitment to quality. The interior of the restaurant has been renovated, giving it a slightly more luxurious feel. This time, seven guys decided to enjoy an all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink dinner. The all-you-can-eat option costs 4000 yen, and adding the all-you-can-drink option brings it to 5300 yen. The time limit is two hours, with last orders taken 30 minutes before the end. We ordered various cuts of meat like upper ribs, brisket, salted tongue, upper loin, sliced kalbi, and harami steak in the first round. The quality was so good that it was hard to believe it was all-you-can-eat. The first round disappeared quickly. In the second round, we ordered more kalbi, loin, and tongue, and finally, some offal dishes. The offal dishes were also flavorful and enjoyable. We even tried some chijimi and stone bibimbap to mix things up, all within the price range. Being able to enjoy this quality of meat in an all-you-can-eat setting is amazing. This yakiniku restaurant comes highly recommended. Thank you for the delicious meal."

It's a photo taken from the angle that makes the dish look like a huge mountain haha. It was my first visit in a while, around 12 o'clock there were over 20 people waiting in line. About 30 minutes later, the line had decreased to around 10 people. When I finally got in for lunch, they still had the special large portion available, so I ordered a 400g rice dish. It was delicious!

Steak bowl: extra-large size for 1200 yen, regular size for 850 yen. The extra-large size comes with 300g of meat and 700g of rice, packing quite a punch. The meat was slightly tough, but overall, it was a satisfying dish for the price. It comes with a generous serving of wasabi, which complements the meat well.

I visited after the state of emergency was lifted. I chose the all-you-can-eat plan, but the food was not delicious. The quality of the meat was completely different from before. Everything was of poor quality. Maybe it's because it's all-you-can-eat? I felt that this place is only good for lunch.

This is a popular famous restaurant for lunch. Since we couldn't go for lunch, we visited with our family for dinner. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building. The interior is narrow and not very spacious.
- All-you-can-eat for 4050 yen (half price for preschoolers, free for children under 3 years old)
You order the all-you-can-eat menu on a tablet.
- Bottled beer 600 yen
The meat was delicious. Maybe it feels more worth it for lunch. I visited last year and it's been too long to remember all the details. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the all-you-can-eat yakiniku for 4050 yen (tax included) and got soft drinks all-you-can-drink as a bonus because I registered on LINE. The ordering system has changed to a touch panel style since the renovation. The meat was delicious, but somehow it felt different from a year ago. I tried various types of beef in smaller portions and ended up eating a lot. It was a satisfying meal. We ate over 30 servings for two people. This was my 14th repeat visit to this restaurant (dinner).

Wow, it's been a while since I visited this place. I thought they stopped doing it because I didn't receive any lunch information on LINE. When I went to the website to make a reservation for the evening all-you-can-eat, I suddenly checked Facebook and saw... a lunch announcement. I've been missing out on this. I could have come before it got so hot. Today, I arrived much earlier than lunchtime, but there was already a line of about 10 people. In the end, from lining up to finishing eating, it took exactly 1 hour. There were a lot of solo diners, and I suspect that the rotation has slowed down since the layout change in the store. But I think it's worth waiting for the steak bowl. So, I ordered the special size (300g of meat, 700g of rice) for 1200 yen (tax included), with less rice? I ordered 500g. By the way, the regular size with 150g of meat is 850 yen (tax included). It arrived after waiting for about 10 minutes. I took a bite of the meat right away. It's delicious!!!! Seriously delicious. They use good quality meat. I wish this place was closer, I'd come once a week. I think it's the best value steak bowl in the Tenjin area. I'm full now. But I could have eaten 700g of rice maybe. Thank you for the meal. *Repeat store 14th visit. Also, tomorrow night is all-you-can-eat + all-you-can-drink soft drinks. I'll do my best.
