✔️23.06.26✔️ I finally got to go to a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while! It was a weekday, but I had to wait for about 15 minutes. However, the atmosphere was so nice and being able to enjoy soba noodles made the wait worth it. I had the duck soba noodles and they were delicious!

I was curious about the appearance and visited around 12:30. It was lunchtime, but there were many people who only came for lunch, so the turnover rate was not that great, and I had to wait for about 20-30 minutes. I ordered the duck soba. It was delicious with a light and elegant broth. I prefer the duck seiro soba because I like it richer! The price is relatively high at 2000 yen, as expected for duck, but even though I have a small appetite, I could finish it easily, so it seems like the portion might be small for men. I would like to try other soba dishes as well.

First visit. This place is right in the middle of a prestigious neighborhood. I thought it was a regular house. Waited in the waiting room. Ordered the Tempura set for 2,400 yen. Not sure if it's an old establishment or a new one. Seems like one of those renovated old houses. Hopefully the food is good. They said it would take a little while for the Tempura. The price is 2.4 times higher than my favorite place, Harukitsuan. This wait is getting long. Uh oh, will I make it to my next appointment on time? This slow background music makes it feel like a leisurely place. I was in the mood for soba, but I made a mistake. It's been 40 minutes since I entered. I can hear the sound of Tempura being fried in the kitchen, but... I tried to avoid peak hours, but coming for a one-hour lunch was probably too optimistic. Will I even have 10 minutes to eat? Maybe they sensed my impatience, as the hostess said they were frying it now. Hmm, this is my fault, I feel bad. The soba that came out was thin and the broth was a bit light. The shrimp Tempura was amazingly delicious! The cost performance isn't great, but the shrimp Tempura (2 pieces) was so good! Finished in 5 minutes. Ate so quickly I can't even remember what I ate. But the shrimp Tempura was really delicious. Thank you for the meal. They accept PayPay.

While walking in Tenjin, I came across a soba restaurant that was renovated from a charming old folk house and couldn't resist going in. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and pleasant, and the soba noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. I also ordered the plum rice ball, which was exquisite. The well-balanced combination of the rice ball with pickled plum and dried bonito flakes was amazing. I would like to visit this soba restaurant at night next time.

"Fukuoka (Oname) * Long-established soba @ Yabukin" In Fukuoka, before going to the gym, I had "New Year's Eve soba" at "Yabukin" (^^) Actually, I have been going there for almost 25 years, even before they relocated. Despite its location in a bustling area like Oname, it is a miraculous standalone Japanese house with an amazing presence. You take off your shoes before entering. My usual "kitsune soba" is a nostalgic bowl for me, with a timeless taste. The tempura has a strong sweetness from the sugar that overflows wonderfully (^^) Today, the inari and plum onigiri were sold out, so I ordered the "seiro," which is rare for me. For me, "Azango" is like my father, and "Yabukin" is like my mother. That's how I see soba in Fukuoka (^^) The proprietress is always dignified and incredibly kind, a truly lovely woman. It's like an oasis where you can surrender your mind and body to the serene space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of Oname. I don't expect anything too sophisticated from Yabukin (^^) In the rise and fall of Oname, "Temjin," "Aokido," "Rikaen," and "Yabukin" are timeless establishments that convey the taste and era of old Oname to the present Reiwa era. Thank you for the meal - Thank you for reading until the end, and I appreciate if you could like, follow, and save the restaurant. Thank you.

Yabukin is a popular authentic soba restaurant in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Established in 1950, it moved to Daimyo in 1975 and has since become a well-established traditional soba shop. The entrance of the old folk house displays the daily recommended soba dishes handwritten. Once the hand-made soba sells out, the restaurant closes for the day. On this day, the recommended matsutake mushroom soba was written on the wall. It is not listed on the menu, and the price is unknown, but probably around 3000 yen.

Located in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Yabugane is a traditional soba restaurant known for its hand-made noodles. Just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station, this restaurant is popular for its seiro soba. Guests can enjoy their meal in a Japanese-style setting where they must remove their shoes before entering the tatami seating area. Established in 1950 and relocated to Daimyo in 1975, Yabugane has since become a well-established and beloved soba restaurant. It is a popular spot where you can conveniently make reservations online and check for available seats. In addition to soba, they also offer tempura, rice bowls, and a variety of side dishes that pair well with soba and Japanese sake.

The restaurant is quietly located on the main street in Daimyo, and when you enter, it has a very traditional Japanese atmosphere that you wouldn't expect in Tenjin. I love this vibe, it feels like I've come to a country inn. The soba has a slight fragrance, but it's delicious. The soba broth is on the sweeter and richer side. I used to think the portion was quite small, so I would come here when I had a small appetite or as a second stop, but this time it seemed like there was more...? Well, more is better, right? (laughs) I also like the soba water, it's thick and rich. I'll come back here when I feel tired of the city air. Traditional house in the city【Handmade soba Yabu Kin】

I think it's about time for the rainy season to end in all of Kyushu... I've been craving soba noodles lately, so this time I tried "Yabugane" for the first time! The atmosphere of the old traditional house in the middle of a samurai town is quite elegant. The female owner's welcome was very pleasant. I originally planned to order plain soba noodles, but after seeing the table of another customer, I decided to go with "Tenseiro" instead! The soba noodles look fresh and have a light color, indicating a refreshing taste. The noodles are thin and well-made. The tempura toppings are carefully prepared, including shrimp, eggplant, shiso leaf, and another unidentified ingredient. The dipping sauce contains grated radish and tempura crumbs, with a light color and a sweet, gentle aroma. The soba noodles have a smooth texture and a refreshing flavor when dipped in the sauce. The tempura is crispy and well-cooked, with the shrimp being plump and the eggplant being soft. The red ingredient turned out to be sweet corn, adding a sweet touch to the dish. The soba noodles are crunchy and satisfying. The meal ends with a serving of soba broth, which is light and has a pleasant aftertaste. Overall, Yabugane is a great place to enjoy soba noodles and tempura in a traditional setting. Be sure to try their Tenseiro for a delightful dining experience!

I had a soba lunch at Yabu Kin-san! In the first picture, there is Duck Nanban Soba. The soba is made with 100% buckwheat, so it has a nice soba aroma. The duck meat is tender, juicy, and has a good chewy texture. The sweetness and crunchiness of the leeks add to the deliciousness. In the second picture, there is Tempura Soba. The tempura is fried to perfection, and the bitter melon tempura is especially delicious. The unique bitterness of the bitter melon is minimal and goes well with the soba. It tends to get crowded during lunchtime, so I recommend going early.

I went out to Tenjin in the afternoon for shopping and around 2 o'clock, I decided to have a light meal and chose soba. I found this restaurant on Tabelog before, so I decided to visit. When I entered the gate, I saw a nostalgic Showa-era building. I opened the sliding door at the entrance, took off my shoes, and entered. The interior seemed like a renovated ordinary house, and I was seated near the front so I couldn't see the back, but the staff checked on me frequently so it was not inconvenient. I ordered a seiro soba, which was served in a small portion, so it might not be enough for men, but it was just the right amount for me as I intended to eat lightly this time.

I visited a restaurant that I have been curious about for a while. When I arrived at the opening time, there was a line and I had to wait for about thirty minutes before finally being seated. The soba noodles were delicious and chewy, and the sauce was flavorful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rolled omelette was soft and had a good dashi flavor. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The duck soba noodles had a refined taste with a subtle sweetness and a good texture. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My wife had the soba noodles in a thickened sauce, and my daughter had tempura rice bowl. The tempura in the rice bowl was cooked well, but it took a long time for the dish to come out. It took about 2 hours from when we finished eating until the tempura rice bowl was served. It was a waste of time on a Sunday afternoon. It seems like weekdays would be a better choice next time. Thank you for the meal.

In the midst of a random street, a traditional Japanese house suddenly appears, and at first glance, it's not clear what kind of shop it is, but it turned out to be a very cozy soba restaurant. I was looking for a lunch spot and the place I had in mind was full, so I ended up spontaneously entering this restaurant. When I took off my shoes and entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a calm tatami room with a view of a beautiful courtyard, giving off a vibe similar to a traditional Kyoto townhouse. It was close to noon and I was worried because there were no customers in sight, but soon the seats started filling up, so I must have come at a good time. I ordered the soba noodles, duck soba, and duck rice bowl. The duck soba had plenty of green onions covering the duck meat in the dipping sauce. The meat had a nice texture, and the duck broth was rich and delicious. The portion of meat was generous, providing a satisfying meal. The soba noodles were thin with a good chewy texture, visually appealing, and exactly to my liking. Unexpectedly, the duck rice bowl I ordered was also delicious! It had a slightly sweet and rich flavor reminiscent of Kyushu cuisine, yet it was elegant and easy to eat. The dish was topped with plenty of green onions. It was a big hit. I'm glad I ordered it! Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience, and it put me in a very happy mood for the rest of the day. The origin of the soba noodles was written on the counter where you pay. I didn't notice any seasonal specials on the menu, but perhaps they could be more clearly displayed, as I only saw a notice on the entrance gate.

The other day, I saw musician DEEN's Ikemori enjoying delicious soba on TikTok. The restaurant was "Teuchi Sobaya Yabu Kin" in Daimyo. I decided to try some light soba for a change and went there right away. The restaurant has a refined atmosphere. I arrived just before noon and managed to get a seat, as it was quite popular with customers coming in one after another, forming a line outside. I looked at the menu and ordered the "Tenseiro" for 2,100 yen! The soba was carefully cut and had a nice chewy texture, making it easy to eat. Soba and tempura go well together! I recommend this place to anyone looking to eat soba in Daimyo.

Exploring lunch options near Tenjin, I stumbled upon a soba restaurant with a red curtain. The exterior had a traditional charm, and I decided to try their hand-made soba. It was my first visit, so I was curious about their food. I started by quenching my thirst with a glass of draft beer. I ordered both the "tenseiro" and "okawari seiro" soba, and I appreciated that the window was opened so I could see outside. I enjoyed the refreshing view of the fresh greenery. And now, the soba arrived. Unlike countryside soba, this soba had a delicate aroma and was easy to eat. The dipping sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. The soba broth was piping hot and rich in flavor. I forgot about the hustle and bustle of the city as I savored the soba. I left thinking that next time, I'd like to share a rice bowl with someone. It was a great day off.

A quiet soba restaurant located in the bustling district of Fukuoka. It is a traditional Japanese house where you take off your shoes before entering. Inside the tatami-floored room, tables are set up and you can enjoy soba while looking at a miniature garden. The menu includes nostalgic names like Kitsune and Hanamaki. I ordered the duck soba, which came with red pickled ginger on top. The soba noodles were thick and well-cut, but lacked a strong flavor. The wasabi served as a condiment was not very good. The dipping sauce contained duck meat and green onions, with the onions covering the duck meat nicely. The duck meat was delicious and the dipping sauce was well-made. The soba broth was not very flavorful, but the overall atmosphere of the traditional Japanese house next to the high-rise buildings was charming. The setting was perfect, and if only the soba noodles were handmade, it would have felt like a trip back to my childhood. The soba-making skills were good, but perhaps due to the use of store-bought flour, the soba noodles didn't have the best taste.

I wasn't feeling well in my stomach, but I was hungry. I didn't feel like eating anything oily, but I thought maybe I could handle some simple soba noodles. There aren't many soba restaurants in Daimyo, but even if there were, I think I would still come here. I come here often and I really like it. The kind staff guided me to my seat, and I ordered the kake soba and the seasonal hamaguri soba for my companion. When the soba arrived, I could smell the broth and my hunger kicked in. The soba noodles had a strong flavor and were really delicious. The broth was a little spicy, but it paired well with the soba. I usually order tempura or chicken soba, but kake soba... it's delicious! I also tried a bite of the hamaguri soba, which had a refreshing flavor with a hint of yuzu peel. It was really tasty. I felt like I had grown a little more mature after this meal. Thank you for the meal!

In the middle of a not so beautiful street in a famous area, there was a unique restaurant that I had been wanting to try. The sign outside said "Oyster Soba", which is irresistible for oyster lovers like me. Due to the impact of the pandemic, there were few people inside the restaurant, making the experience smooth. Although I wanted to try other soba dishes, I ended up going for the Oyster Soba lunch set for around 2000 yen. I paired it with a beer and enjoyed a luxurious lunch. The broth was meticulously prepared and the soba was topped with plump oysters, which were delicious. I savored each oyster one by one and finished the dish quickly. If I ever crave soba again, I would definitely consider coming back here. There are many great soba restaurants in the area like Daimyo and Yakuin. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

The popular "Yabukin" has delicious food and a great atmosphere. It's always crowded on weekdays and weekends for lunch. I always end up ordering either the tempura soba or duck soba, so I haven't been able to try other options yet. The broth is delicious and the duck is tender. They also have a menu for drinking in the afternoon, which is a nice touch.

A road leading from Daimyo towards Akasaka caught everyone's attention with its old-fashioned building, "Matsukannoi." Inside, there is a lovely soba restaurant that was built in 1936! The atmosphere is very traditional and charming. Today, I decided to treat myself with a tempura soba set, priced at 1,900 yen + tax. The setting was serene, with a beautiful courtyard visible from my seat. The background music was soothing, and the staff were attentive. The tempura had a crispy and light batter, paired with fragrant soba noodles. It felt like a luxurious lunch experience for a working professional. The portion of soba was on the smaller side, so I recommend getting a larger size or adding rice if you're a hungry eater. I arrived after 1 pm and was able to enjoy my meal without waiting long. The fact that they accept PayPay was a convenient bonus. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
